Single item recovery has transformed mailbox backups and now provides faster, precise restores
Druva inSync can improve if we can integrate a chatbot. Instead of going through the portal, if there were a chatbot and we could restore mailboxes and groups by chatting with the chatbot, that would be an added feature. The restoration of notes is a limitation. Druva inSync is not capable of restoring notes. If users have something saved in notes, Druva inSync will not be able to restore it. If it could enhance the capability to restore notes, that would also be helpful. If it were to enable chatbot functionality and by just saying to the chatbot to restore a mailbox or restore an item to the mailbox, that would enhance productivity. There is some limitation of restoration for certain folders. If those could be fixed, it would be a perfect product.

Streamlined data management reduces workload and costs significantly for the team
We are planning to use Rubrik Go's AI-powered insights for predictive analytics, but have not implemented this yet. I cannot provide updates on Rubrik Go's capability to automate data management tasks because I have not used that feature yet. Rubrik Go's integration capabilities with cloud providers have benefited my multi-cloud environment significantly. Rubrik Go's subscription model has helped me align my data protection investments, which is a good option as I am one of the customers who have deployed this subscription option. I am definitely satisfied with the licensing model as it is very simplified and easy to understand. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Rubrik Go a 9.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool has good features. The backup is also accurate."
"One of the most valuable features is it is available on the cloud, so I do not need to make a firewall. Second, the backup speed is outstanding. The third thing is that the section policy is very good and gives you a lot of flexibility and granularity regarding what you need to back up."
"The main benefit of this solution is that it automatically scans the files for ransomware after the backup is complete."
"You don't need a certified administrator to manage this product."
"The way they handle the backups is pretty good."
"The most valuable feature about Druva is that it is 100% based in the cloud, scans the backups for ransomware, has a security element, includes unlimited uploads and downloads in the price, provides a granular approach to backup and restores so that customers can retrieve individual files, is incredibly fast, and dedupes all your data and only charges you for the amount of data that's been deduped as opposed to what it originally sees."
"Customers are very happy with this solution."
"Druva is offered as a service so that we can access it from any enterprise-based browser or URL. We also have a single sign-on, which allows me to log in securely. Hence, I can easily access the system, configure it, perform day-to-day monitoring tasks, and check for any issues or configurations needed. Overall, it's a simple and easy-to-use tool with a high-speed and straightforward interface for management."
"The most valuable feature is the storage efficiency, as the storage footprint is very good."
"The solution's main focus is on security and ransomware."
"This product has positively impacted my organization because in the legacy tool, we used to have significant workload and significant people to be deployed, in this case, we have very minimal requirements."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of use for backing up VMs."
"Rubrik Go is both very scalable and stable."
"The automation capabilities streamline our operations significantly."
"Rubrik Go's best feature is data visualization."
"Clients find the cost very good and enjoy the large cloud compatibility."

Cons

"The support of other cloud services needs to be improved. It has very good cloud support for AWS but not with others."
"Druva inSync is very high in price. A general customer cannot afford this solution. Even if the product is good, people cannot afford such a high cost just for taking the backup. This is a recurring investment, and the customers have to pay for it every year. Druva is also yet to develop the channel and the channel or partner commitment."
"It would be good if bare metal backups were possible."
"The one area that needs to improve is the pricing."
"The restoration of notes is a limitation; Druva inSync is not capable of restoring notes, and there is some limitation of restoration for certain folders."
"The product needs to improve its support."
"The support team generally needs to be more proactive with technical and general suggestions."
"One functionality I would like is the ability to manage multiple Office 365 tenants from a single console."
"I think integration with multiple cloud support could be an additional feature that would make the product even better."
"The solution’s pricing could be reduced."
"Reporting could be improved. For now, it's only exported to CSB files."
"There should be an option to generate reports in PDF format, rather than only in Excel or CSV format."
"You should be able to add more workloads to Rubrik Go."
"Integration with the client is something that needs to be improved."
"I would like to see better integration with applications, such as those from Microsoft, to make backing up from those applications simpler."
"I believe there's room for improvement in terms of support, particularly with Tier 3 support coming from the on-call team."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is fairly priced, I would rate its pricing five out of ten."
"It's approximately $4000.00 per user for one year."
"The price is quite good, It's approximately $4000.00 per user for one year."
"It is an expensive product for the middle class or SMB customers in India. A lot of top-level big companies also cannot afford this solution. During the license period, one can download the entire data from the cloud without paying any additional cost. This way the data can be easily recreated from the stored data when a machine is lost or the data is compromised."
"Once you decide to go with this product the cost can be worked out with the vendor."
"The pricing is thirty-five dollars per year or three dollars per month per user."
"The pricing of Druva inSync is very high as compared to other cloud backup solutions."
