Streamlined data management reduces workload and costs significantly for the team
We are planning to use Rubrik Go's AI-powered insights for predictive analytics, but have not implemented this yet. I cannot provide updates on Rubrik Go's capability to automate data management tasks because I have not used that feature yet. Rubrik Go's integration capabilities with cloud providers have benefited my multi-cloud environment significantly. Rubrik Go's subscription model has helped me align my data protection investments, which is a good option as I am one of the customers who have deployed this subscription option. I am definitely satisfied with the licensing model as it is very simplified and easy to understand. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Rubrik Go a 9.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup is straightforward."
"If you are looking for a backup solution, go with Druva because it's quite simple."
"Customers are very happy with this solution."
"One of the most valuable features is it is available on the cloud, so I do not need to make a firewall. Second, the backup speed is outstanding. The third thing is that the section policy is very good and gives you a lot of flexibility and granularity regarding what you need to back up."
"It is simple to implement and use. It's very flexible."
"The most valuable feature about Druva is that it is 100% based in the cloud, scans the backups for ransomware, has a security element, includes unlimited uploads and downloads in the price, provides a granular approach to backup and restores so that customers can retrieve individual files, is incredibly fast, and dedupes all your data and only charges you for the amount of data that's been deduped as opposed to what it originally sees."
"Out of all the solutions we evaluated, Druva inSync was the most affordable."
"The tool has good features. The backup is also accurate."
"It has an easy-to-use interface that is not complicated."
"The automation capabilities streamline our operations significantly."
"Even though the data is already in the cloud, it's an AWS, so by accessing the on-prem appliance you can still search because it is indexed from that appliance."
"The most valuable feature with Rubrik is that even though the data is already in the cloud, it's an AWS, so by accessing the on-prem appliance you can still search because it is indexed from that appliance."
"Rubrik Go's best feature is data visualization."
"This product has positively impacted my organization because in the legacy tool, we used to have significant workload and significant people to be deployed, in this case, we have very minimal requirements."
"The standout feature is its ransomware protection capabilities."
"In terms of Rubrik Go's most valuable features, their VM features are good."

Cons

"The user quota is an area that needs to be improved."
"I have faced some challenges with these integrations."
"If I could have an accelerator or something to back up the solution on the cloud, that would be helpful."
"The one area that needs to improve is the pricing."
"Druva inSync is very high in price. A general customer cannot afford this solution. Even if the product is good, people cannot afford such a high cost just for taking the backup. This is a recurring investment, and the customers have to pay for it every year. Druva is also yet to develop the channel and the channel or partner commitment."
"The speed could be better."
"The solution takes a lot of time during restoration."
"The product needs to improve its support."
"One of the issues with the product is that you cannot postpone a specific backup job. If you try to do that, every backup job is paused."
"I believe there's room for improvement in terms of support, particularly with Tier 3 support coming from the on-call team."
"You should be able to add more workloads to Rubrik Go."
"There have been occasional issues with the user interface needing certain necessary information, requiring us to contact support for clarification."
"The solution’s pricing could be reduced."
"I think integration with multiple cloud support could be an additional feature that would make the product even better."
"Being a modern backup solution, Rubrik should have an option to back up a Kubernetes cluster."
"If you were to compare it to, say, EMC, the availability of the documentation, training programs, and end-user education aren't as good. Rubrik could improve this."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is good."
"The pricing is thirty-five dollars per year or three dollars per month per user."
"Out of all the solutions we evaluated, Druva inSync was the most affordable."
"The pricing of Druva inSync is very high as compared to other cloud backup solutions."
"I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten, with one being very cheap and ten being very expensive."
"It is an expensive product for the middle class or SMB customers in India. A lot of top-level big companies also cannot afford this solution. During the license period, one can download the entire data from the cloud without paying any additional cost. This way the data can be easily recreated from the stored data when a machine is lost or the data is compromised."
"The price is quite good, It's approximately $4000.00 per user for one year."
"The product is fairly priced, I would rate its pricing five out of ten."
"This is a very costly solution."
"Rubrick Go is quite expensive - I would rate its pricing four out of ten."
"Rubrik Go is more cost-effective than similar solutions by other vendors."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is expensive and ten is cheap, I rate the solution's pricing a three out of ten."
"It's an expensive product if you compare it to traditional backup solutions; however, if you compare it as a total cost of ownership for a solution, it is not."
"The solution is reasonably priced."
"I would rate the product's pricing a seven out of ten. The solution's costs are monthly."
"The client pays for the solution depending on what they use."
