The solution helps users to manage their entire IP range, but it's unreliable and very expensive to maintain
Only the administrator was using the product. He used it to read reports as part of our compliance programs. It wasn't heavily used by a lot of users. The tool comes in at a large scale, and we tried to scale it down. The scaling did not apply to us. It was neither difficult nor easy. I rate the scalability a five out of ten. We had some challenges while scaling it down. It could do 10,000 devices, and we wanted to use it for ten devices. The process was difficult and expensive. We did not need the product anymore.

Provides proactive threat remediation, reduces alert volume, and enhances incident response capabilities
During our pre-purchase evaluation of SentinelOne's EDR capabilities three years ago, we were consistently impressed by the positive relationships customers reported having with SentinelOne's engineers, sales teams, and customer success managers. These strong relationships, evident in the customers' unsolicited feedback, highlighted the "soft skills" and intangible qualities that SentinelOne possessed. This positive customer experience has been mirrored in our own interactions with them. Their responsiveness to our needs, particularly when addressing a couple of challenges we faced, has been excellent. They proactively scheduled weekly meetings to demonstrate their commitment to resolving our issues, a customer-centric approach I admire. SentinelOne's dedication to customer service, including their rapid technology updates and responsiveness to our suggestions, has been crucial to our success in protecting our organization. Their ability to quickly incorporate our needs into new releases is truly impressive and sets them apart. Overall, I highly recommend SentinelOne based on our positive interactions across all levels of their organization.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"This product detects vulnerabilities which exist in the environment, and provides enough information that allows for remediation, thereby securing the environment."
"Tripwire IP360 is a very stable solution."
"Tripwire is one of the most mature in terms of companies, suites, support, everything, much more than any other product."
"It has enhanced the security program by ensuring that all external-facing systems are scanned on a routine basis."
"Tripwire IP360 helps me to discover most of the vulnerabilities, and I like the way that it prioritizes these vulnerabilities, as it allows me to focus on the most important ones first and then follow up with the rest."
"It's become the pinnacle point for anything that enters the network or anything that's passing through to production to first be affected by IP360, hardened, and up to standard. For our integrity management, one was deployed in the bank about two years ago and that's still going to expand the usage and the product itself. That will go hand in hand with training and expanding the product as for where it's deployed."
"The company probably chose this solution because they thought that they would be getting the best bang for their buck."
"We could manage our entire IP range with the solution."
"SentinelOne enhances our customers' risk management."
"The most valuable feature of SentinelOne Singularity Identity is its ability to detect based on behavior rather than just static signatures."
"One of the top things we're interested in is cloud protection."
"The product's initial setup phase is straightforward."
"They have different levels of support. We have the highest level where they are constantly checking all the endpoints. If at any certain point, they identify that a computer has been triggered by a virus, a link, or something else, they would automatically tell us that within 15 seconds. If they notice something, they automatically send us an email saying that they noticed something in the computer, and they are going to block it."
"Their ability to quickly incorporate our needs into new releases is truly impressive and sets them apart."
"All the features within the XDR are valuable as a whole for our organization."
"I like the detection and protection features. We don't need to do anything, and it will alert us when the mitigation is not successful. We only need to target those endpoints. Otherwise, we don't have to do anything about that."

Cons

"The reporting functions can use improvement. There is room for growth because reporting functions differ a lot depending on what you're going to output. It depends on whether it's for technical or senior management and how it's interpreted. There could be growth within the reporting functionality side."
"The reporting functions can use improvement."
"I am not very impressed by the technical support."
"If you are looking for better reporting capabilities and vulnerability tracking over time for remediation purposes, then this is not the best solution."
"We need to dedicate time and resources to keep it running."
"We would like to have better reporting capabilities and for them to be more granular."
"I am not very impressed by the technical support."
"For IP360, unfortunately, scans for certain vulnerabilities often cause issues, as they are mainly false positive."
"The solution's query resolution time could be reduced further, and a faster resolution could be provided."
"The UI can be more user-friendly."
"The first-level support has room for improvement."
"There is a clear roadmap for improvements, including enhancing capabilities with AI and seamless functionality in an MSP model for deeper visibility across multiple agencies. Further development is anticipated to continue enhancing the solution."
"Our engineers are dealing with issues to add exclusions to the antivirus for custom applications."
"We've brought three critical items to their attention regarding vulnerability management."
"To improve SentinelOne, I would suggest adding a network detection and response capability."
"The primary reason for this discontent is that we frequently encounter performance issues with our servers."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe the price compares well within the market."
"The product was expensive for us."
"Its price is a little bit high. It is a nice product, but it comes at a cost. Compared to other products, it is not cheap, but you sometimes have to pay for the value you get. It is not cheap, but it is worth it."
"The pricing is a bit high."
"The price of SentinelOne Singularity Identity is relatively high, but it offers numerous features and capabilities that make it well worth the investment."
"The cost of SentinelOne Singularity Identity is better than CrowdStrike."
"Compared to competitors, it's well-priced for the quality offered, and I don't see anyone surpassing them in that regard."
"There is a need to make yearly payments towards the licensing charges associated with the product...I think the prices associated with the product are okay and it is not too expensive."
"SentinelOne seemed to offer more while being priced lower than its competitors."
"Ideally, I would like SentinelOne to lower their prices a little bit."
