Simple, easy to learn, and quick to deploy
The visibility is good, the controller is very nice, and easy to work with this. The bottom line is it's a good vendor and it's a good solution for WiFi. The simplicity is great. It's straightforward to learn the solution. It's very easy to understand and the implementation as well.

Stable product but bad tech support
Mojo provided us with the in-house solution and controller solution.  Mojo Networks should focus on improving its management area and support. We have been using Mojo Networks for the last five years. I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. Mojo Networks is a stable product. I would…

Pros

"Mist AI is a very powerful feature. Juniper is the only company that has introduced AI into networking."
"The solution is pretty generic and easy to use."
"Juniper Mist offers valuable features like comprehensive network insight, granular policy control, fast device setup, strong security, and efficient SSL traffic management."
"The product is quite user-friendly and easy to deploy, so one should definitely consider buying it."
"The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done."
"In terms of reporting, in terms of all the user reports, it's very rich."
"For the most part, it does what it's supposed to do, and I like it. It's a great product."
"The most useful feature of Juniper Wireless AP is the reporting Marvis."
"Security is top-notch with WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevention System)."
"The stability of the solution has been good. We haven't had any issues."
"Initial setup was straightforward."
"It has given us a huge leg-up when competing with other managed service providers who use different vendors because of the visibility it gives us to customers' traffic for troubleshooting purposes."
"The solution is very stable."
"The most valuable feature is the seamless connection between the end-user on the wireless side."
"We have found Mojo to be critical for us because of its patented security and its wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS). It is unique in the market."
"It is a hundred percent scalable product since its functionalities are good...It is a very stable product."

Cons

"The reporting logs require improvement in terms of clarity because it can be difficult to find specific information about network influences."
"It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network."
"Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage."
"Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process."
"The solution is expensive."
"They should include SD-WAN features to it."
"Though certain security features are integrated into the product, my company has to always look forward to tightening certain security functionalities in the solution."
"I need a bit more time with it before criticizing the features."
"Something that could be improved is the ability to easily and quickly see what speed someone is on and if there are any issues on the network. We are using the older software technology, so maybe their newest version is able to do that."
"The implementation could be simplified. Right now it's a bit complex."
"The user interface could use improvement, and Mojo is working on it. The features and functions are in two different places, and they are in the process of moving them into one place."
"The user interface needs improvement. It could be a little bit more user-friendly."
"Compared to other OEMs, Mojo Networks or Arista faces a little bit of coverage issues. So, if we put the same dBm, the power of the other OEMs indicates much more extensive coverage compared to Mojo or Arista."
"The RF signalling and data analytics parts should be improved."
"The setup was complex."
"The distribution can be improved, particularly in this part of the world."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive."
"I rate Juniper Mist's pricing a ten out of ten since it is expensive."
"I rate the product price as a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is inexpensive, and ten is expensive. It is a reasonably priced tool."
"The pricing is fair."
"The pricing is something Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) can work on. The pricing is very high compared to the competition."
"I rate the pricing an eight out of ten."
"We pay maybe 1000 SEK per year, per access point."
"If a customer has a budget of around five lakhs in Indian currency, they can afford Juniper products."
"Since they have only the cloud and on-premises platform, the price looks good compared to the other OEMs like Cisco and Ruckus. For one of the Wi-Fi 6 access points for five years, they might be charging 20,000 to 25,000 INR."
"The cost is a one-time fee."
"They have been a great price competitor against some of the other big brands, like Meraki, especially for cloud-based WiFi. However, Meraki has been more expensive. They beat Meraki on features for the WiFi, which makes them a better choice even if the price is the same."
"We have a term that is renewed every three years."
"Of every solution we looked at, every wireless solution, Mojo was a minimum of six figures cheaper. Minimum. Most of them were double, which again is unheard of. Not only do you get all the feature benefits, like everything is there, everything just works, but at the same time, it was a no-brainer, because of the cost. It's almost like you hit the lottery."
"The pricing was a good value and substantially less than some of the other products that we looked at. In some cases, with some of the big names, this product was even close to half the price."
"There are other solutions, like Ubiquiti, that have lowered their prices, which sometimes makes the argument to go with them. However, we do not bake in the WiFi for other vendors into our managed services, because they do not meet our standard offering."
"The price of the solution is too high for our country."
