Needs improvement in content and user interface while supporting compliance with ease
There are several areas for improvement. The pricing needs adjustment, the UI needs enhancement, and the management of assignment and completion needs improvement. For instance, when I assign someone a course, it should have a deadline that doesn't automatically increase if the person isn't completing the course. The effectiveness of Kaspersky Security Awareness's interactive modules and real-time cyber scenarios rates at a six. The gamified learning paths rate at a five, indicating definite room for improvement in this area. While we have achieved compliance, the control over the program is limited. Verifying team knowledge is challenging as exam integrity cannot be guaranteed. They need to update the security courses with more real-time or real-life scenarios.

As things are evolving and threats develop in unpredictable ways, Proofpoint must adopt AI solutions and agentic solutions more aggressively and provide them to customers as part of service offerings. Inbuilt AI solutions would add more value and make Proofpoint a more premium choice for customers. With the help of AI solutions, agentic AI, and generative AI capabilities, the product would be more efficient than it currently is. Filtering false positives is highly challenging because it is impossible for humans to identify which emails are genuine and which are spam. Proofpoint should focus more on this area with back-end agents or other tools. Proofpoint should decide which emails are genuine and which are spam so it is not a challenge for end users. When receiving an email, end users should not have to determine whether to respond or not. Proofpoint should not release such spam emails and should strictly block such spam and spoof emails based on connection IPs. Currently, false positives occur in the product, and while this occurs in every product, it is an area where Proofpoint can focus on improving and reducing false positives. One email is enough for an end user to be deceived and lose money, so addressing this area is critical.

"Kaspersky Security Awareness is a little cheaper and easy to use."
"Overall, I rate Kaspersky Security Awareness a ten out of ten and actively recommend it to others."

"Kaspersky Security Awareness needs improvement in its ability to detect unknown attacks or unknown zero traffic attacks."
"Kaspersky Security Awareness could improve its user interface since it looks outdated, even though the content is top-notch."

"The false positives are an issue."

"I want Security Awareness Training in there as a package deal. A lot of companies are starting to value email security a little bit more and take it a little bit more seriously, and the great product that we link together with a lot of these sales is a training product called Security Awareness Training. It is an upsell that we do with Proofpoint, and it is definitely something that I recommend everybody with email security to look into. It would be great if Security Awareness Training is included with the email security."
"Proofpoint Email Protection can be improved by using more AI-powered features."
"The incident reporting on offer needs to be improved. It's lacking right now. It should be on the platform somewhere."

"It is multiple times more expensive, which made it very much less attractive."
"They are competitively priced, but I have been forced to get quotes for other solutions now because they haven't been responding to requests to do the work that we would like them to do."
"We sell annual licenses for this solution."
