I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

A cloud-oriented HRMS that needs to be more flexible and improve offline support
We use ZingHR as a human resource management system. It helps us manage recruitment, generate offer letters, and maintain employee database and attendance.  The solution is a cloud HRMS, which makes it a self-sufficient model. You can do a lot of things without taking anybody's help.  ZingHR is…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Business intelligence is integrated with the product and gives real-time information about employees and processes for managers, who can have their analysis delivered in any way (dashboards, table reports, analysis, charts, etc.) with no development cost."
"I work in Saudi Arabia, the localization is most valuable as this solution has localized the payroll and they are providing the same service to HR with the core HRMS system without budgets procuring separately."
"I like the interfaces, and they are fine. I would like to see more interfaces."
"This solution is very stable."
"The product's most valuable feature is the centralization of data."
"Oracle HCM Cloud is highly scalable."
"The most valuable feature is fast reporting."
"We have 35,000 employees in our organization, so we consider the solution to be scalable."
"The most valuable feature of ZingHR is the data bulk uploading and downloading."
"The solution is a cloud HRMS, which makes it a self-sufficient model. You can do a lot of things without taking anybody's help."

Cons

"Visually, Oracle HCM Cloud needs improvement. For example, the employee portal looks rather old, so it would be awesome if Oracle refreshed its design or if the portal looked more modern. Oracle HCM Cloud works, but visually, it needs improvement."
"The data uploading part and backup could be better. They are a bit complex. Oracle is continuously changing it from one functionality to another. It's a bit unstable right now, and it's basically on the backend data upload part. If I have to upload, for example, data for 100 employees, it's a bit of a challenge for an end-user. It can be difficult if you're not a technical person and an end-user like me. I administer the platform, and if I get a request to upload and I'm not a technical person, then I'm just lost. I have to do some research and then complete the task. But it's evolving, and I hope it's more user-friendly in the future. In the next release, I would like a more stable mobile application. The current version isn't very stable. It takes time to open, and although they have come up with new UI pages, a few open areas need to be addressed. I would also like to see more robust and user-friendly data uploading techniques that would be helpful for end users like us. We don't have a technical background, and we just want to upload the data for our day-to-day operations."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"The compensation module needs further automation."
"The performance and reaction time can be improved."
"The tool should allow more customization for specific requirements. Some processes could be streamlined, and certain features in specific modules must be added."
"In some geographies, you might not find specific localizations. For example, here in Turkey, we can use all Oracle Cloud modules except for payroll. The Oracle payroll module isn't localized for the Turkish system. So, we need to integrate a separate, localized payroll solution with Oracle HCM."
"Product integration, particularly with collaboration tools, is lacking in this solution."
"ZingHR could improve by giving administration users from the front end the ability to make corrections. I am having to do the bulk corrections from an Excel upload from the system."
"ZingHR is not flexible and needs to improve offline support."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing is largely determined by what is agreed upon."
"Licensing fees are on a yearly basis."
"The contract for one of them will be extended for three years and for another one for two years. One of them is paying monthly, and another one is paying per quarter. I don't know about the third one. So, it differs."
"The data traffic cost is expensive. The solution can scale up beyond my imagination, but the cost can rise up easily."
"Oracle HCM Cloud is pricey, but price-wise, it's now more competitive than in the past year. Here in Central Europe, people also look at the pricing, but Central Europe falls under the UAE and Abu Dhabi in terms of headquarters, management, and strategy, but those states don't care too much about the pricing. Pricing is a significant factor in choosing a solution. In the past, Oracle HCM Cloud was compared to the SAP solution, the largest competitor and up to thirty percent higher in price. Now, Oracle HCM Cloud has a price increase of five to ten percent, which could be pricier than SAP now, but it's a more competitive product nowadays and comparable to SAP."
"The is a license needed to use the solution. The license can be paid in different increments, such as quarterly."
"On an annual basis, we pay about $25,000 for our company. This includes the VAT, support, upgrades and everything else."
"It is definitely super expensive. Oracle is very, very expensive for what they offer."
"ZingHR is not expensive."
"ZingHR is a less expensive solution than others, such as SAP SuccessFactors."
