Unified customer service has provided real-time insights and supports flexible, intuitive workflows
We have a customer service application for customer service in a smaller group, and for most purposes, we use the direct platform. It is a unified channel that depends upon the business. We do not use all channels, but we leverage them wherever they are applicable. The interface is intuitive and depends upon the business. Whenever there is a request for information, we come up with a design and then provide the opportunity to see if it is usable or if they would prefer it in another fashion. Out of the box, it is acceptable. It has all the features required for supporting the customer service side. Although we are not using the voice feature, it gives people the flexibility to interact and get real information. Real-time information is available. It includes both a dashboard and the customer service front desk UI.

Automates client workflows and data validation reliably but has faced limits in complex integrations
While applying some integrations or automations, if we need to take an action between two modules' fields, we have to write SOQL, and it can miss the data. I had a scenario where I had to use two fields from two different modules, and based on that condition, we had to send a follow-up to our team member to complete the task. We could not find any direct integration, direct SOQL query, or direct workflow that could do that work. However, I think the wizard is performing better now for such tasks. I had a two-part scenario where I had to get data from two modules or two fields in Zoho CRM and send a follow-up to our team member based on that data. We were unable to find any direct integration for this. Another issue is that a Zoho CRM function can run for only three minutes. After three minutes, the function will fail, and we have to rerun the function.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The product is scalable. It works efficiently for changing existing features."
"It has all the features required for supporting the customer service side, and although we are not using the voice feature, it gives people the flexibility to interact and get real information with real-time information available."
"Pega Customer Service is scalable."
"The technical support provided for all the solutions from Pega is of the same quality since they have their own internal teams and the same mechanisms, which are good for dealing with issues of different users."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is case management and different configurations."
"Zoho CRM is a very powerful tool and has a lot of features."
"What I like most about Zoho CRM is its configurability. We can adapt it to our needs in terms of the sales process. It has automation capabilities, but we mostly use it as a static system, except for sending emails and information about updated products."
"Zoho CRM handles the entire customer relationship management, from lead generation to workflows, reports, and lead qualification."
"Zoho CRM has a location-based feature where if I'm visiting certain customers in a day, it can indicate to me the most efficient route. However, this is if the location of all the offices or places is updated, it saves my time. The calendar in Zoho CRM is synchronized with Google Calander which is very useful for me."
"It has helped to manage, move forward, and also customize my processes. It has helped me with my sales pipeline, sales process, and performance."
"There's no installation required."
"Zoho CRM is quite scalable; I have worked with clients who started with ten companies and have scaled up to managing 500 employees effectively within Zoho CRM."
"The login and logout times of each employee of our company are recorded by Zoho CRM for productivity calculations"

Cons

"The product's pricing needs improvement."
"Improvements are always required, but at this moment, the UI is the key area that is not flexible enough for us."
"The only concern I have seen about the product is its prices."
"Integrating with non-Pega systems (e.g., legacy CRMs, third-party APIs) can require significant effort and custom development."
"The licensing cost could also be improved."
"Pega JVM function needs to be improved."
"I would like to see better integration with Zoho Creator."
"Zoho CRM has a rule engine or a place where you can set certain rules. That's not evolved very much. They could improve this within the platform."
"The solution can improve by having a policy that allows us to integrate with the cloud."
"In Creator, you can do calculations and change another field immediately after you enter any value. If you add the quantity or price in any field, you can immediately change the total in Creator. The same functionality is not directly available in CRM because it is prebuilt."
"The integration should be more user-friendly."
"There are at least two big pieces. One is just the ability to reorganize the data and clean it up to eliminate duplicates and things like that. It is very manual at the moment."
"The support is not quite good."
"They should provide an option to customize modules."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool's pricing is flexible, and I rate it four to five out of ten."
"The solution provides licenses to users either based on the number of users or the number of cases that an end user creates."
"The solution has standard pricing plans."
"We pay for an annual license to use this solution."
"There is a license required for this solution."
"Zoho CRM is an expensive tool."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a high price and ten is a low price, I rate the pricing a five. However, the pricing is fine because we chose the enterprise plan as a private limited company."
"The price of Zoho CRM is already competitive, but we would always like to have a better discount. Most of the features are included in the price but if we want the extra features then we have to purchase them."
"I have no information about the pricing for Zoho CRM because the finance department handles that."
"The licensing is the subscription, where we pay $50 per month per user."
