Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

A solution that streamlines ticket creation for the staff members of a business and enables efficient issue resolution by the IT team
SysAid is similar to Nintex AssureSign. Some of the back-end configurations of the solution are very difficult. So, we always need SysAid's help. Also, there are almost too many features that we are not taking advantage of in our company since we don't even know about them. A little bit of a streamlining or simplification of the main features would be a good improvement. I would like to see SysAid present its solution more easily. There is a lot in the solution, and it is more than what we need in our company.

A project management tool that helps to manage milestones and dependencies
We use the product to design online courses. It also helps us with media production and marketing.  Teamwork has made process management easier and much better. It is very robust and improves by making a lot of changes. It is easy to use and has lots of reports. The product is expensive. It needs…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like web automation and SAP application automation."
"Automation Anywhere has provided the capability to automate repetitive tasks for the organization, which in turn has lead to a lot of cost-savings."
"Using automation, these processes are completed in between one and two hours, using one robot, and with these savings in time, the staff can do more in other areas, improving productivity and creativity while reducing the need for overtime and positively impacting the company overall."
"Automation Anywhere helped our organization to get our training and implementation needs successful by providing both community edition and partner edition. Automation Anywhere seamlessly handed off exceptions to employees from Automation Anywhere bots."
"Automation Anywhere provides the best application to use for RPA and other automation requirements. It's very easy to use and easy to understand. It's UI(user interface) which is so friendly and easily understand by the user, it is very easy to install automation anywhere product simply click on next to install, it is easy to develop bot and no coding knowledge is required to develop"
"Based on my experience, I have found Automation Anywhere to be more stable and accessible."
"Automation Anywhere uses a single dashboard that you can access anywhere, and it also provides more insights versus other products, which is an advantage of using Automation Anywhere."
"A process that used to take seven to ten days has now been reduced to half an hour."
"The service desk orchestration, overall, is good. It allows an organization to build that service desk concept into its organizational and support strategy. And it allows an organization to digest that and create a support model very quickly around the tools. The fact that the tools are integrated within the system itself gives the organization a really robust way to integrate everything and have a complete support model."
"The simplicity of the solution is excellent."
"It's supporting the daily routine of the IT organization, it is the ticketing system, and it's very helpful due to the fact that it provides us with full evidence and full transparency for what we are working on."
"All our service management is integrated into one system. Our response time is much faster because we have a visual into what is going on."
"The solution provides us with multi-layered service management along with all our support pieces integrated in one system. Our entire system is run on SysAid, from Tier 1 to Tier 3. All the other IT department functionality is captured in SysAid, like development, warehousing, and application. So, it has vertical and horizontal coverage."
"The solution can scale."
"I really like the SysAid self-service portal; it's very customizable and we can customize it to fit our needs rather well."
"It tracks everything that the technicians are doing. We can account for time and manage resources."
"It is a very stable solution...The initial setup of Teamwork is easy."
"Teamwork has made process management easier and much better. It is very robust and improves by making a lot of changes. It is easy to use and has lots of reports."
"I recommend this solution; it is very good for simple projects."
"The setup was very easy. Deployment was very fast for us. We started using it within two weeks."

Cons

"The automated regression testing could be better. I need to build my own testing suite, and I know other tools have built-in testing suites. That is an area that's very weak in this platform."
"If the option were available to use the old generic-style variable type, it would be helpful."
"We are having trouble creating a reliable and stable situation in our environment."
"The REST API could be improved."
"The areas in which the product and service must be improved are in the government sector and ministries such as the Ministry of Education and Health."
"Automation Anywhere should make it easier for developers to manage queues and exception handling. The OCR component could also be better. We have had to use other OCR tools to get information from the account documents."
"It is not easy to integrate APIs with Automation Anywhere without a good knowledge of APIs."
"My biggest suggestion would be to allow us to set up test and development licenses or environments that don't use unattended licenses needed for production."
"This means the facilities people can see every ticket that is in the support queue, which is not great."
"The automation needs improvement. The workflow has some improvements to do."
"So far, we're very happy with the new integration. The only thing that I would like to see is for them to improve asset management so that it's more usable. We looked at it once and we didn't find it quite usable for us. That's why we didn't use it. We haven't looked into the new one yet but the asset management is something that can be improved even more and patch management is not as good as it could be."
"There is a learning curve for the users."
"One of the features that I'm hoping comes at some point is that currently you can only have one Knowledge Base instance within it."
"One of the features that I'm hoping comes at some point is that currently you can only have one Knowledge Base instance within it. For me, it would be beneficial to have multiple instances for different purposes. I'd like to have a completely separate one for customers and the only way I can achieve that right now, where I can tag articles to only be viewed by customers, would be if I use its portal function."
"SysAid has fewer AI features compared to other tools."
"The solution needs to improve their mobile product."
"The screen sharing provided by the solution can be a challenge to a user. Screen sharing is an area that needs improvement in the solution."
"The product is expensive. It needs to have a more robust and customizable calendar."
"The product could be improved with more integrations and a mobile app."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Our advice is that anybody interested in this product should negotiate product bundles in order to reduce the cost of installation and setup."
"We brought onshore a lot of what we were doing offshore, saving our company close to $20 million."
"One of the things that will be good for the community will be to get the free version to download, which came out just a month ago called Community Edition. So, you can actually download it and try it for yourself."
"Automation Anywhere is flexible in terms of costing and licensing."
"The major reason that we selected Automation Anywhere was the licensing model."
"Automation Anywhere is expensive."
"Their licensing processes are in par with most industry standards."
"We have established a CoE and we take our bot opportunities based on their ROIs. The best ROI opportunity goes to development first. Our ROI opportunities are compliance, profitable growth, productivity enhancements, productivity gains, number of hours the productivity saved, and resources not available that the work can be done by the bot. However, the single most important criteria that we use to measure ROI is how much time does the bot cut down from an analyst's work, as this has the best ROI. E.g., if an analyst is spending a 100 hours of work that a bot can do in one hour, we calculate the 99 hours saved as ROI."
"SysAid is a good solution, especially from a pricing perspective."
"We saw our investment back at the end of year one."
"The pricing of SysAid is less than its competitors."
"Once you're interested, talk with SysAid. You can have them come in and look at your company and advise you on the best solution. They will tell you what comes with each separate package and also advise you what application to activate. If you want something that they don't have, they have a department that can design something based on your unique requests."
"Overall, the price is good. It's all about what you get for the base amount. From my perspective, you want to look at what you're getting out-of-the-box. SysAid does a good job of putting key stuff in the box for you."
"Though I am not really sure about SysAid's prices, I know that it is competitive compared to some of the other products that our company looked at, like ConnectWise and ServiceNow."
"My company makes annual payments towards the licensing costs of the solution."
"We negotiate on pricing since we are a long-term user."
