My company is a system integrator in Brazil, and we are also a partner. We mainly use it for SD-WAN purposes. It is being used in the public sector and the commercial sector.

In terms of deployment, some customers deploy it on-premises, and some customers deploy it on the cloud.

The inspection and web security features are most valuable.

In Brazil, the main problem that we have is related to the protection from various attacks and ransomware in the public sector and the commercial sector. The main focus in Brazil is to deploy a solution to counter-attack ransomware and other attacks.

There can be more security in hybrid implementations. When a customer has a hybrid environment where some parts are in the cloud, we need a consistent security solution for such scenarios.

I use Fortinet FortiGate for my customers to have a secure network.

The most valuable feature of Fortinet FortiGate is the simple configuration.

Fortinet FortiGate can improve the integration with Active Directory. Additionally, I would like to have a Cloud Controller, such as they do in the Cisco Meraki solution.

I have been using Fortinet FortiGate for approximately two years.

We use FortiGate for controlling traffic and policies for web caching, user profiles, IPS, antivirus, etc.

FortiGate has a strong security topic which allows all of the Fortinet devices to communicate and share information which makes their security more powerful.

I would like reporting to be improved and should offer a lot more tools to monitor the products.

I think that the infrastructure for the VPN could be improved. The way that it is bundled also made it difficult to use and sell as it is too expensive.

It is primarily used for VPN and remote access. More recently, we have been using it for SD-WAN.

This is a versatile solution and with it, we can offer our customers multiple functionalities. The Fortinet fabric goes across the entire enterprise.

The most valuable features are the security and the integration with the entire Fortinet product line, from access points to switching.

FortiGate has a very strong unified threat management system.

I would like to see integration into other systems. That would be really great for me. The fabric works well only if you're using other Fortinet devices, but they're not exactly the best in terms of switching or access points. If they could extend their fabric towards other vendor environments for integration, that would be great.

We have several sites spread geographically across Latin America and Asia that use FortiGate. Some of them are unable to support cloud services so we have deployed it on-premise in order to provide ourselves with a fast and secure network.

I like that you are able to manage FortiGate from the FortiManager to create a more centralized environment.

The solution's framework needs to be frequently updated in order to have a stable solution.

My company used Blue Coat and Zscaler in the past but I am unsure why they switched.

The initial setup was not 100% straightforward, but it was also not too complicated. You have the choice to use templates or design your own so deployment length will be dependent on that.

This is a great solution for companies spread across Latin America and Asia.

The network security and cloud security are most valuable.
