I have experience with Imprivata OneSign and Imprivata Confirm ID. For the past three and a half years, I've been using Imprivata OneSign 7.9 and Confirm ID 7.9 versions. The client I'm working with is Ascension, which is in the hospital-based industry, working with a chain of hospitals across the US. Currently, we are trying to enhance things and we have a plan for upgrading our Imprivata services to our end customers from 7.9 to the G4 version, which is the latest version out there for Imprivata services. The G4 23.7 is the latest version available. Currently, I'm working with Imprivata vendors for having our client systems upgraded to the Imprivata higher version for the G4s.

We did use the multi-factor authentication feature across all the patients. Earlier, we relied on the MFA and the Vasco tokens. We had the Vasco tokens and we also had the True ID app. These are the two things that we have used for the multi-factor authentications for clinical patients. That is, if you are a provider and you are subjected to enroll in multi-factor authentication so that you can e-prescribe the control substances for the customers.

We have used the self-service password reset feature. Some of the sites that we have licenses for the self-service password reset and we have used that feature for our end customers as well.

I am using a mixed deployment model for Imprivata OneSign. We have some of the servers built on-prem and some of the servers built on the cloud. We have Azure as well. We have on-prem VMware vSphere and Hyper-V as well.

What I appreciate best about Imprivata OneSign are the single sign-on and the Confirm ID features. The single sign-on works seamlessly for all the nurses or the end users out there. You just have to log in to the application once and the single sign-on clicks in and works for everyone. Users don't have to manually remember all their passwords. Imprivata OneSign helps by remembering and storing all passwords.

The integration capabilities of Imprivata OneSign offer many possibilities, and there are numerous upgrades Imprivata has been implementing. At this point, they are growing rapidly. There are new tools coming out for reporting and generating real-time analysis. Imprivata E-PAM is a new feature that I've been reading about in articles, which is going to help administrator people and enterprise administrator personnel to view real-time records and views for all end customers. Reporting and looking at logs for the users will be seamlessly efficient.

I use the reporting tools available in Imprivata OneSign. The admin console itself has a reporting feature, which gives us a list of pre-built templates of reports where you can see how many users have been added, the user policy, the users who have last logged in in specific amounts of days, and the reporting for the EPCS users. There are numerous reporting options available which help with troubleshooting issues.

I have seen many benefits from using Imprivata OneSign. It saves substantial time for nurses. As a nurse or doctor, you don't have to spend time remembering passwords or signing into computers. You just need to grab the nearest machine and tap in. You can use the machine anytime if you want. It saves time when dealing with patients. For doctors who might not be tech-savvy, Imprivata OneSign helps them sign in seamlessly.

Fast user switching and Citrix integration in Imprivata OneSign could improve. There are many options available for VDI connectivity, but I've seen issues with VDI connectivity and Citrix storefront connectivity. The users utilizing published PAs and PDs experience lag and slowness in the authentication. This is an area where we can improve.

For the past three and a half years, I've been using Imprivata OneSign 7.9 and Confirm ID 7.9 versions.

Imprivata OneSign is stable, and I did not face any problems with stability issues. This aspect will be subject to your own environment. If there's an outage for your server, there should be someone to fix it. But as a product which they support, I did not find any issues.

The scalability of Imprivata OneSign depends on your customer. If you're dealing with huge multiple hospital chains and need to save time for your customers and employees, it's beneficial to use this solution.

Their customer support is absolutely the best. Imprivata OneSign has level four support: level one, level two, level three, and level four. Depending on the priority and emergency you have for the product or issues you encounter, you need to raise a case and they will join a call with you. They will assist you through any mode of communication and help you out. When it comes to the support model, they are absolutely the best. I've never faced any issues with Imprivata support.

The initial setup for Imprivata OneSign is straightforward. We have the Imprivata support portal which helps us with the Imprivata architects and helps engineers to understand how the product works and how to build the product. We have the Imprivata support vendor to assist us in building the tools and servers. You just have to spend some time and you can build your own enterprise.

As an end user, it's easy to use Imprivata OneSign. Users don't have to rely much on knowledge to use that tool. It's basic, just an agent that sits on your machine and you shouldn't worry about anything. It takes care of everything on its own. Single sign-on takes care of itself. Imprivata OneSign learns your passwords and proximity card. You just have to know how to enroll your proximity card.

I think it's worth the money to have Imprivata OneSign as a tool. It saves time, it's efficient, and it works seamlessly.

Overall, I would rate Imprivata OneSign nine out of ten.

My use case for Imprivata OneSign is that it has helped customers minimize their work in remembering passwords and enhance their security.

The best features of Imprivata OneSign include the single sign-on with its own AI, meaning that customers don't have to modify their coding. The AI remembers the password and login, so when users enter the system, the AI will input the login and password automatically.

The beauty of Imprivata OneSign is that it can use single sign-on with legacy systems such as mainframe terminal products. Most of the latest single sign-on solutions cannot use mainframe systems.

Imprivata OneSign helps customers minimize their work in remembering passwords and enhances their security.

Imprivata OneSign should have a landing page because most customers prefer this feature, which is currently a strong point for competitors.

The price for Imprivata OneSign should be lower.

I have been working with Imprivata OneSign since 2013.

I would rate the stability for Imprivata OneSign at 8.5 or 9 out of 10.

Imprivata OneSign is very stable in terms of scalability and ability to expand.

I would rate technical support from Imprivata OneSign at 8 out of 10.

Regarding response time and quality, I am totally satisfied with it, rating it at 9 out of 10.

Imprivata OneSign is the more preferable solution for our use case.

You can recommend Imprivata OneSign for enterprise or small companies as it depends on your requirements. It works well in enterprise, medium, and small businesses.

I will definitely recommend Imprivata OneSign to other users.

Imprivata supports single sign-on. OneSign is the name itself. It provides a service that allows users to sign in to whatever application they are using. This is the most important feature of this solution.

The deployment is very quick, and the solution is not difficult to deploy.

I previously compared Imprivata and NetIQ.

We're looking for something better, and to know whether NetIQ is better than Imprivata or not.

NetIQ SecureLogin, according to our understanding, is not as good as Imprivata. They must change the coding. They must modify the coding of the application in order to use single sign-on.

I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it.

I would rate Imprivata OneSign a ten out of ten.

We use one single ID for signing into more than fifty applications. We only need to use one ID.  

It has benefited my organization in the way that it makes it more secure by making it harder to hack.

It has an easy log in which we don't need to plug in a password every time. It's easy to use and manage your applications and it doesn't require you to go to the admin to reset your password. 

I would like for them to make this solution compatible with Mac OS. I would also like for them to provide a portal so that users can easily integrate it with their applications. 

It's very stable.

If our client has an issue they email us and we contact their technical support. 

The initial setup was not complex. It was very easy to set up. It took us three months to deploy it for 11,000 users. We're planning to expand it to 50,000 users. Most of the users are administrators, IT technicians, project managers, system engineers, and support. We only require two people for maintenance. 

In terms of the implementation strategy, we configured the appliance with a basic IP network configuration and then just deployed it. 

We implemented it ourselves. 

The price is reasonable, it's an affordable solution. 

We also looked at Okta Identity Cloud.

I would recommend this solution to a big organization. It's easy to deploy and it does not disrupt your processes. 

I would rate it a nine out of ten. Not a ten because we've contacted them about making it compatible with Mac OS but they said that there's nothing they can do about it until next year.
