Has struggled to meet reporting needs and currently lacks enough customization options
Pros and Cons
  • "The data visualization features of Zoho Analytics have helped me improve decision making for my customers, and I could assess the impact of Zoho Analytics' AI-driven insights on the strategic initiatives of my customers."
  • "Zoho Analytics can improve by offering more options in the reports, as there are situations where the types of reports offered are a little limited, and I would like additional types of reports along with more functions in the SQL for queries."

What is our primary use case?

My usual use cases for Zoho Analytics mostly involve features or capabilities that I have found valuable so far.

What is most valuable?

The data visualization features of Zoho Analytics have helped me improve decision making for my customers, and I could assess the impact of Zoho Analytics' AI-driven insights on the strategic initiatives of my customers.

My impression and assessment of Zoho Analytics' collaborative features is that they are quite effective.

What needs improvement?

I see areas of Zoho Analytics that could be improved or enhanced in my opinion.

Zoho Analytics can improve by offering more options in the reports, as there are situations where the types of reports offered are a little limited, and I would like additional types of reports along with more functions in the SQL for queries.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with Zoho Analytics for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability and reliability of the product is crucial for optimal performance.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate the technical support of Zoho Analytics a seven out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

I participated in the initial setup of Zoho Analytics, and my experience with it involved performing necessary actions; it was manageable.

What other advice do I have?

I am an end user of Zoho Analytics, not an integrator, reseller, or consultant. I still consult my customers, either doing consultancy for third-party customers or within my company.

The use of AI is beneficial in Zoho Analytics, particularly its predictive analytics capabilities. SQL queries are indeed important for the functionality.

While pricing and licensing of Zoho Analytics might be expensive, it's definitely worth the money. If you want to use an AI agent or automated insights, you should pay for the premium license, as the standard and basic versions are not as powerful in AI features.

My customers usually choose deployment on premises.

Rating: NA

Helps to analyze past performance and conduct company performance reviews
Pros and Cons
  • "The tool's most valuable feature is its dashboard."
  • "The improvement needed is regarding the number of API calls. Currently, Zoho Analytics only allows us to update data hourly. It would be much better to have updates more frequently every half an hour."

What is our primary use case?

We use Zoho Analytics for finance and CRM. Recently, we started using it for ticket management. We use it to analyze past performance and conduct company performance reviews. Additionally, it helps us identify any loopholes within the company.

What is most valuable?

The tool's most valuable feature is its dashboard.

What needs improvement?

The improvement needed is regarding the number of API calls. Currently, Zoho Analytics only allows us to update data hourly. It would be much better to have updates more frequently every half an hour.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with the product for six years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate the tool's stability a ten out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Zoho Analytics' scalability depends on the database. If you want to add more data, you need to upgrade the license. We use it daily.

How are customer service and support?

I haven't contacted the support yet.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I use Microsoft Power BI. I think it is easier than Zoho Analytics.

How was the initial setup?

The tool's deployment is simple, taking less than an hour to complete. Within that time frame, we can integrate it with other systems and generate reports or dashboards.

What about the implementation team?

My team did the deployment.

What was our ROI?

The tool's ROI is good. Using the software eliminates the need to maintain databases and set up data centers, saving us from the associated costs and maintenance headaches. This allows us to focus solely on data analysis and dashboard creation.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I rate the tool's pricing seven out of ten. The licensing costs are yearly.

What other advice do I have?

Integration with other platforms in Zoho Analytics works fairly well. We've successfully integrated it with other databases. However, the issue lies in the frequency of updates, which happens only every four hours.

I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. I would recommend Zoho Analytics to others. Compared to Microsoft Power BI, it's easier to work with databases for analytics.

An easy-to-set up solution that helps in the scheduling of reports and dashboards
Pros and Cons
  • "Scheduling of reports and dashboards is the most valuable feature of Zoho Analytics."
  • "There is a limitation that we cannot create more than 300 columns in a worksheet on Zoho Analytics."

What is our primary use case?

We use Zoho Analytics to combine the different data sources of things like CRM Analytics and CRM Projects Creator into a single workspace and then build a report on top of it. We also use the solution to create a revenue report based on sales that shows the projected revenue before the development vs. the actual revenue used for a particular project.

What is most valuable?

Scheduling of reports and dashboards is the most valuable feature of Zoho Analytics.

What needs improvement?

A lot of integrations are available with Zoho Analytics. There is a limitation that we cannot create more than 300 columns in a worksheet on Zoho Analytics. The data can be in millions. There are some limitations on the reports that depend on the various combinations of data you get. So there is always an error that gets thrown out if you are building complex reports.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Zoho Analytics for one and a half years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate Zoho Analytics an eight out of ten for stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I rate Zoho Analytics eight and a half out of ten for scalability.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Zoho Analytics is easy.

What about the implementation team?

Zoho Analytics' deployment time depends on the number of reports you want, the number of dashboards you need, and the complexity of the datasets.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Zoho One is cheaper if we purchase it in bulk. However, if we purchase stand-alone products, each application has its own price and cost.

Zoho Analytics costs $ 4,200 per month, billed yearly. You get fifteen users and up to five million rows of data on cloud. It has different versions for on-premise, and the pricing differs based on whether it is on a local server or AWS.

What other advice do I have?

Since we use Zoho One, we get enterprise-level access to related applications for our organization. Zoho Analytics is deployed on the public cloud for us, but Zoho Analytics can be deployed on both cloud and on-premise.

Overall, I rate Zoho Analytics an eight out of ten.

It's come along way, reviewing it in 2025, and it's a lot more versatile than it was 2 years ago.
Pros and Cons
  • "We use the solution for financial and sales analytics. It brings data from our IT incident management tool. Hence, we have three business use cases for IT support, sales and financials."
  • "I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures."

What is our primary use case?

We leverage this solution to address key areas such as financial and sales analytics. It integrates seamlessly with our IT incident management tool, allowing us to consolidate and analyze data effectively. As a result, the platform supports three critical business use cases: managing and optimizing IT support operations, driving insights and performance improvements in sales, and ensuring accurate and insightful financial analysis.

How has it helped my organization?

It has improved in its ability to provide a 360-degree view of an object, primarily due to the associations and relationships established between objects analyzed within the platform.

What is most valuable?

Zia serves as a powerful tool for efficiently navigating and retrieving insights from extensive datasets. It enables users to perform rapid searches and gain quick access to relevant information, streamlining the process of analyzing and understanding large volumes of data. This capability significantly enhances decision-making by providing timely and accurate insights tailored to the user's needs.

What needs improvement?

I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures.

For how long have I used the solution?

3 years

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution becomes easier if its performance could be improved.

How was the initial setup?

The product's setup is straightforward. The initial stage is a bit cumbersome because it's the stage where you define the formulas. However, once everything is setup, then it's easy. We use the tool's cloud-based version. You need to define the business requirements while deploying the product.

What about the implementation team?

We had a good background in Analytics and didn't need any third-party help.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The product's licensing is reasonable.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate the solution a 6 out of 10. While it serves as a standard analytics platform, it falls short of delivering the advanced capabilities one might expect from a modern analytics solution. Having used several analytics platforms in the past, I feel this product offers only the baseline functionality necessary for its purpose.

The platform is relatively straightforward for users with advanced Excel skills, as it often requires defining custom formulas. However, for individuals less familiar with analytics, I recommend engaging a third-party vendor to assist with the implementation process to ensure proper setup and optimal use.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Private Cloud

A stable product with an excellent dashboard, but call center facilities for customer support are not available
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution’s dashboard is very good."
  • "The solution does not provide call center facilities for customer support."

What is our primary use case?

I use the solution for MIS reporting.

What is most valuable?

The solution’s dashboard is very good.

What needs improvement?

The solution does not provide call center facilities for customer support. So we cannot retrieve reports if there’s an issue. Instead, we must put the reports in the BI tool and send them to our management.

Zoho Analytics provides analytics and reporting for up to 1000 SKUs. If there are more than 1000 SKUs, the data is automatically uploaded to Excelpoint, and we must extract data from there.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for the last four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product is stable. I rate the stability a seven out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I rate the scalability a six out of ten. We have twenty users in our organization.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price is high. The solution advertises that it provides products for 55 AED per user, but these products contain only the basic features. Most of the features are locked.

The version of the product that includes Zoho Analytics costs around 199 AED per user per month.

What other advice do I have?

The product is good for single users. The solution provides data for only one branch. If we need reports for other branches, we must download the data and enter it into the BI tool to create reports for the management. Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

On-premises

Provides efficient analytics and has a straightforward initial setup process
Pros and Cons
  • "Zoho Analytics's most valuable feature is the ability to provide excellent analytics through a single platform."
  • "The platform's pricing needs improvement."

What is our primary use case?

I used the product for dashboarding features and generating real-time reports while working with a travel company.

What is most valuable?

Zoho Analytics's most valuable feature is the ability to provide excellent analytics through a single platform.

What needs improvement?

The platform's pricing needs improvement.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Zoho Analytics for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The platform crashed a few times. Comparatively, Qlik Sense was more stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Zoho Analytics could be more scalable, similar to Qlik Sense.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup process is more straightforward than Qlik Sense.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The product is expensive. However, it is more affordable than Qlik Sense.

What other advice do I have?

I rate Zoho Analytics an eight out of ten.

Easy to setup and stable solution
Pros and Cons
  • "The initial setup is straightforward."
  • "The support for Zoho Analytics is pathetic."

What is our primary use case?

I'm using Zoho Analytics to connect with Zoho SalesIQ, Zoho People, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Desk.

So within CRM, I get service, revenue, activities reports, and all other stuff created inside the analytics.

What needs improvement?

There is room for improvement related to the formulas because I'm really struggling with the formulas.

At the backend. Even though formulas are correct, values are showing continuous errors. I've already submitted three to four tickets to the Zoho support team related to this issue.

Another area of improvement is support. The support for Zoho Analytics is pathetic.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Zoho Analytics for seven years. I use the latest version.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I would rate the stability a nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten. We have 17 users in Zoho One. But some of them do not require Zoho Analytics.

I created a lot of reports inside the Analytics, I installed widgets inside their CRM or the other applicator. So, all the reports they are grabbing from analytics itself.

How are customer service and support?

The customer service and support could do a better job. Whenever I call the support team or ask for support, they transfer my call to Zoho One Support.

So, again, Zoho One Support makes me wait in the waiting room. After that, they reply that they'll transfer me to the Zoho Analytics support team. Within the Zoho Analytics support team, I'm not getting proper answers and solutions for the things I'm looking for.

And in the last case, I was looking to implement a percentage formula. From my side, the formula is correct. And I was not getting the actual results so whenever I try to connect with the backend support team, that issue needs to be resolved through screen share or something else. Because that resolution needed to be implemented or roll it out to my whole team.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing is okay. It is fair compared to the market. At this moment, I am using Zoho finance suite, so it's okay.

What other advice do I have?

Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. I just need to get correct reports and correct things from the backend.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

A strong analytics tool that can be leveraged to connect with different applications
Pros and Cons
  • "It's a very strong analytics tool."
  • "The navigation on the interface is not intuitive."

What is our primary use case?

We use the product for two things. We use it for business intelligence and creating dashboards. We also use it as an auxiliary table because sometimes we want it to connect with Microsoft Power BI. We extract information from Zoho CRM, insert it as a table in Zoho Analytics, and connect it with other business intelligence tools.

What is most valuable?

The ability to create tables to connect with different applications is valuable for us. Being able to integrate data from different applications is also important to us. We connect data from Zoho CRM and from Zoho Campaigns at the same time. It's pretty easy to use. The solution’s queries are so fast that we use it to provide information to our widgets in Zoho CRM. It's a very strong analytics tool.

What needs improvement?

The navigation on the interface is not intuitive. The product must improve its interface.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for a couple of years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product is very stable. We've been using the tool for a lot of different projects, and we've never had any problems with it. The solution’s connection is very strong.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Two different types of users are using the solution in our organization, the viewers and the users. The viewers include more than 500 managers and executives who view the information. There are 20 to 30 users who create dashboards and reports on the product.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is not so easy. An expert explained to me how it works, where the tables are, and how to create a new table. It can take some time to really understand the solution. If someone’s coming from a business intelligence scenario, and are used to working with Power BI or other analytics tools, maybe it would be easier. I had some previous experience using Google Data Studio and Power BI, but I still had some difficulties in the beginning.

What other advice do I have?

I have used the product less than Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns. I would recommend the solution. The tool’s ability to connect to different data sources even outside the Zoho universe is great. If someone has any knowledge of data integration, I would advise them to start using the solution for sure. We have been using the tool more than what is expected of an analytics tool. We are using it as a tool to connect to other tools. Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Private Cloud
