I was using Zoho Projects previously, but my company still owns many integrated software solutions. I needed the ability to track time within Zoho Projects that automatically streams into invoicing for clients, which is what I have been utilizing it for. I have a couple of smaller marketing clients. My process is that when I receive an email from a client, I put it into a Google tasks list, and then Zapier integration automatically makes it into a task against which I can associate time when I work to complete that task, thereby getting all of that information into Zoho Invoice for seamless invoicing capability.

I am using Zoho Projects through Zoho only. I do not have a private server or anything of that nature.

Only one user is using Zoho Projects in my organization, and that is me.

The most valuable feature of Zoho Projects that I have found is its time tracking. Zoho Projects is very vast and has large capabilities with very newest features and settings, but the time tracking has been the most valuable, and having that directly sync up to Zoho Invoice is essential.

The benefits that I have seen from using Zoho Projects are accuracy and time tracking; my clients really enjoy it. It is linked up to Zoho Invoice, which allows for invoicing where clients can go and see the invoice via PDF. They can utilize the PDF to forward to their accounts to properly aggregate costs against the business. The online feature of being able to pay their invoice online is really convenient for them.

I am used to working in To Do, which is a very fast platform. You can essentially copy and paste a range of tasks with various details and paste it directly into the platform, which allows it to handle them very quickly and accurately. Zoho Projects is much more enterprise-focused, so the functionality and flow is a little more restricted than I would enjoy. It has all of the same fields, but those fields are somewhat harder to get information into and out of than many other project management platforms.

As for features with Zoho Projects, the time tracking capabilities are very robust, but the method by which I start and stop the timer is not very fluid. As far as features I would like integrated, I am uncertain; rather, I see features that could be improved.

I have been working with Zoho Projects for a couple of months.

I have faced no issues with the stability of Zoho Projects; I found it to be quite stable.

Scalability is difficult to assess because I am so accustomed to how much easier it was to derive the information I needed through To Do. I personally think that To Do is slightly more scalable; it works a little more easily in that regard. I can go straight from ideating within a spreadsheet to implementing within the project management much easier in To Do than in Zoho Projects. I certainly think Zoho Projects is scalable, but it is not a normal project manager where you would check off a task when it is complete. You have the variation of how done an actual task is, reaching one hundred percent before it would be considered a closed task. In some ways, for a small business, I feel Zoho Projects is a little too scaled and a little too enterprise. If I rate the scalability of Zoho Projects, I would probably rate it between a six and a seven.

The deployment process for Zoho Projects is pretty easy to implement. However, there are some nuances that required getting on the phone with support. Their support is phenomenal; their agents realize that part of the reason I am likely to call is because I need Zoho Projects to work in conjunction with other integrated apps. With one agent, I was able to solve the issue that I was having with the tracking rates for Zoho Invoice. It was really seamless support throughout the process of getting everything set up, which could have certainly been a big failing on their part because it does have very nuanced settings depending on how I would like to configure my project.

I switched to Zoho Projects for the seamlessness of its time tracking capabilities into invoicing. Invoicing was proving to be difficult with Autodesk.

I completed the deployment myself as I am a one-person operation.

Before going with Zoho Projects, I evaluated several different options while looking for the most reliable solutions. I evaluated time tracking in To Do, I did so in Asana as well, and I looked at Monday.

I would mention to other users who would like to start working with Zoho Projects to utilize the support available as much as possible to make their life easier. That was a big portion of what made things more seamless for me. Zoho Projects requires maintenance; I am consistently having to log time to tasks rather than just being able to check them out, and I have to go back and monitor the list constantly to make those particular tasks one hundred percent complete. I rate this product a seven overall.

The main purpose of using Zoho Projects is for coordinating projects, with a primary focus on bug and defect management.

Zoho Projects stands out due to its easy adaptation, allowing me to learn and use it quickly compared to other tools. Its integration with Zoho Docs and features like creating a Wiki and the ability to co-author documents without performance constraints are valuable. Additionally, the audit logs feature is beneficial.

The adaptation process can be enhanced with training sessions and templates. There is potential for improvement in version control, particularly in integration with Zoho Docs. Providing small bite-sized instructional videos, like how to create a bug, and customizable help icons would be beneficial. Additionally, I should be able to cross-link bugs between projects.

I have been using Zoho Projects for almost eight years.

There are some glitches and latency issues. For example, changes sometimes don't reflect, and there is an inability to cross-link bugs between projects.

Zoho Projects is highly scalable.

Customer service and support are excellent. I would rate them nine points out of ten. They are just a chat away, and there is typically a dedicated person or two handling my account.

I have seen time savings, but there have not been substantial monetary savings. It has helped me streamline processes by using my SOPs and Zoho for improvement.

The price of Zoho Projects has increased significantly over time. Initially, it was an affordable option for early adopters, but the price has risen four to five times. A price reduction would be appreciated, as not everyone has the budget to afford such software.

The overall rating for Zoho Projects is eight out of ten. 

Although the solution has some room for improvement, it remains a comprehensive tool. Improvements in AI, such as enhancing project documentation and planning, would be valuable for me.

I run projects in my company. My team executes the project. I look at the project management aspect completely. I assign tasks to my team members, and they coordinate over Zoho Projects and update the statuses, respond to issues, and do the time tracking. Hence, all of the project management stuff is done in Zoho Projects.

The best thing about Zoho Projects is that it is not just a project management tool. It integrates so well with other Zoho applications, and that really helps to extend the features of Zoho Projects. Also, the customization within Zoho Projects is quite good. The features for customization are good, and the tool's time tracking is amazing.

I have been using it for the last eight years overall, the applications, and they've come a long way now. It's really good and intuitive at this stage. However, I still feel that they could do a little bit more in terms of application integrations, like the third-party ones. That could be useful. There are a bunch of its integrations with third parties, but probably a little more would be better.

The telephone support provided by the support team should become better.

Regarding adding features or functions to Zoho projects, I think I would add more reporting tools to the solution. Some of the default reports in Zoho Projects are obviously useful, but I would like to add some more analytics based on all the activities taking place in Zoho Projects. I would prefer to build my own custom report and all those sorts of things.

In my current company, I have been using Zoho Projects for eight months. In general, I have been using Zoho for eight years. I am using the enterprise edition of the solution. My company has a partnership with Zoho.

Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. Over the period of eight years, it wasn't as good as it is right now. If you had asked me previously about its stability, I would have said five or six, but now it's nine out of ten. I have seen a big difference in its stability over the last eight years.

Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight and a half out of ten. It is a scalable solution.

I have contacted Zoho's customer support team for Zoho Projects. I contacted them recently for one of the customizations I needed.

The telephone support isn't that great, but Zoho's electronic mail support and chat support are fantastic. I rate the technical support a six and a half out of ten.

If the phone call side of the support team becomes better, my score for the support team can increase and become an eight out of ten, but not more than that.

The solution is deployed on a private cloud by Zoho.

Since all of the Zoho products are straight out of the box, the setup phase is usually straightforward. Sometimes, based on the business requirements, you may have to modify it a bit here and there.

The deployment can be done in minutes or hours since it is a SaaS-based system. You just enter your credentials, and then you're in there.

It's the most cost-effective project management tool out there as of now. The value for money is great when considering its competitor. I think it's ten times less cost-wise than the price of its competitors like Salesforce. The price for Zoho Projects is seven GBP per user per month.

My company chose Zoho Projects over other tools since it integrates well with other Zoho applications. Zoho Projects is just one application within the entire business suite. We have other applications, and we are part of Zoho One, so Zoho Projects is a part of it. The aforementioned details are the reason we use Zoho Projects, and it's pretty intuitive. It's pretty nice.

I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. It comes right out of the box, ready with features that you can disable or enable whenever you like. Whatever is required in a project management environment, it's right there in Zoho Projects.

If I go out in the market searching for a project management tool, I look at the usability and the price, which is obviously a factor to consider, along with the features provided. Zoho Project gets those marks if the aforementioned criteria are considered. Previously, it was a bad solution, but now it is a really good tool.

We are an IT services company. We run projects, create milestones and tasks, assign users to tasks, and the project owner manages them. We can also add feedback, notes, and documentation to the tasks. We also use the tool for monitoring tasks and logging the time a user takes to finish a task.

Timesheets and the ability to add attachments are very valuable features to us. If any specific tasks in the project need feedback from our clients, we can immediately add all the links, comments, and screenshots to the task. When we review the task with the client, we can go through the tasks, look into the comment, and refer to the attached links.

The solution should improve on integration and customization. There are a lot of limitations in the solution when compared to other project management applications. There are a few things that we require that are not available in the product.

I have been using the solution for almost three and a half to four years. I used it personally for two and a half to three years. Then, I started implementing it for a few projects.

The stability is good. I haven't seen any issues. There's downtime if there are any issues in the cloud, and we get notified in advance. It is one of the advantages we have as a partner. We update our clients based on the information we receive.

We have less than 100 projects. It is working smoothly for us right now. I rate the scalability a ten out of ten. Currently, six people are using the solution in our organization.

I contacted support regarding the type of license I was procuring. My experience with support was good. I raised a support request, and the team tried to resolve it within 24 to 48 hours.

The ease of setup depends upon the use case. If it is a standard, straightforward process, we just need to review the video on how to use it. If we need customizations or integrations, there might be challenges based on the partner you're dealing with and the knowledge of the person implementing the solution. Since I know the product in depth, I rate the ease of setup a nine out of ten.

The deployment is not a lengthy process. It is straightforward. The product is SaaS-based, so you can create your organization, sign up, start the trial, or immediately pay and use it.

The product has different pricing models for different regions. The solution’s stand-alone application comes with two different plans. One is Premium, which costs $5 in the USA and EUR 5 in Europe, and the other is Enterprise, which costs $10 in the USA and Europe.

I am using Zoho One. All the applications under Zoho One are enterprise editions. The solution is cloud-based. Since it is a SaaS product, it needs to cater to multiple industries. Overall, I rate the solution an eight or an eight and a half out of ten.

We use Zoho Projects for everything, including timesheets and general project management tasks.

The tool enables the creation of projects and collaboration with team members by inviting them to the respective projects. Automation features include the automatic closure of tasks based on set criteria. The platform also sends reminders to track projects. 

While integrating a voice solution with Zoho Projects, the focus was on creating a unified interface for voice and customer engagement across various platforms like Facebook, social media, and emails. The primary goal was to seamlessly merge the two platforms into a single interface. To achieve this, we engaged in API integrations and worked on aspects such as initializing, authentication, and access control.

It is easy to use and quite affordable. Reports are generated regularly, providing insights into ongoing and completed tasks. During sandbox meetings, there is no need for a separate sheet, as all relevant information is accessible within the application. 

If given the opportunity, I would focus on improving automation within Zoho Projects. While attempting to integrate with other platforms, users often encounter errors. The integration capabilities of Zoho Projects could be enhanced. Currently, the integration options are categorized as either easy or customized, with the latter requiring deluge code, which might pose challenges due to its lesser-known usage.

I've observed that some clients find it challenging to navigate Zoho Projects, especially when onboarding external collaborators. There have been instances where users faced delays due to email verification processes and loading times.

I'm uncertain about recommending Zoho Projects without a clear understanding of specific integration needs and organizational structure. If your focus is on integrating with in-house applications or third-party solutions, the use of deluge programming language in Zoho Projects might pose challenges for custom integrations. However, for simpler notifications and communication purposes, it could be suitable.

Zoho Projects' return on investment has been good for the organization. It has allowed us to track the progress of projects, monitor productivity, and deliver projects effectively.

Zoho Projects' costs are yearly and affordable.

The reporting functionality in Zoho Projects is deemed quite effective, allowing users to easily extract and analyze data for their specific needs. While it may not have the extensive features of Microsoft Projects, the reporting capabilities in Zoho Projects are considered good. 

I rate the overall product a six out of ten. 

I'm using it for both internal and external project management. So it's a great application.

We were able to track each department's work and what they were doing inside the actual department. Gantt charts are useful to track departmental progress and operation, or we are that item stuff.

The only room for improvement over here is a feature related to the trend, like AI-related things that we can expect need to be introduced.

Also, there is little room for improvement in scalability.

The initial steps and setup are easy initially.

Zoho Projects is pretty straightforward, and there is no room for improvement at the moment because it's quite easy for end-users and a user-friendly solution.

I deployed it in nearly two or three organizations within, let's say, within one and a half months, all deployment has been completed.

Compared to other solutions in the same space, it is a cheap solution.

If anyone wants scalability and project management within the advanced or inter-departmental activity, they can try this tool and experience how things are moving from department to department, task to task, or person to person. They can see the actual progress by using Gantt charts.
