What is our primary use case?
We are using ZingHR for employee cycle, payroll, time and attendance, transfer claims, workstream, and live recruitment and onboarding.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of ZingHR is the data bulk uploading and downloading.
What needs improvement?
ZingHR could improve by giving administration users from the front end the ability to make corrections. I am having to do the bulk corrections from an Excel upload from the system.
In a future release, the people org chart should be visible down up, and up down. It should be similar to what SAP SuccessFactors has. They have a download option where you can have the entire org structure downloaded on a PDF file.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using ZingHR for approximately three and a half months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability of ZingHR could improve.
I rate the stability of ZingHR a seven out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is scalable.
We have approximately 2,400 users and plan to increase it by 2,500 in the future.
I rate the scalability of ZingHR a nine out of ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used SAP SuccessFactors prior to ZingHR.
The main difference between ZingHR and SAP SuccessFactors is SAP SuccessFactors has a huge, dynamic UI. Admins have more control over fields, access, and permissions. Additionally, if the administrators are experienced they can make more customization within the system themselves. They do not need to approach the company or consultant. However, ask for the company to make necessary field corrections, or make certain changes for us. SAP SuccessFactors is not a perfect solution either, it has room for improvement. They are missing payroll as part of the core modules, you have to purchase it separately which can add to more costs.
I prefer SAP SuccessFactors because it is good overall, dynamic, and it is evolving every quarter, every six months.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
ZingHR is a less expensive solution than others, such as SAP SuccessFactors.
What other advice do I have?
The ZingHR team is good because they tend to create custom fields and other things as per requirements. If there is a feature that is not available in the version, they will review it and put it into development if it is approved. Then later it will be published in the next quarter release.
I rate ZingHR an eight out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
