Reviews from Real Users
Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:
PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."
Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."

Sr. Technical Specialist & Team lead at Wysetek Systems Technologists Pvt. Ltd. | 4.5 | I find Workspace ONE UEM ideal for managing various devices, including mobile, Windows, and Mac. Its user-friendly interface and policy deployment are beneficial, but it faces issues with pricing and customer support compared to competitors like Microsoft Intune. |
PreSales Lead- Government & Defense at a security firm with 51-200 employees | 2.5 | I find VMware Identity Manager to be an average IAM solution with limited features and scalability issues. It lacks robust user lifecycle management and integration with third-party products. Its high cost provides little return on investment compared to alternatives. |
Head Infrastructure,Network and Services at North East small finance bank | 5.0 | I've been using Workspace ONE UEM in my company for running applications. However, it would be beneficial if the solution offered some discounts. We chose this platform based on a consultant's recommendation without evaluating other options. |
IT Architect at a healthcare company with 1,001-5,000 employees | 3.5 | I use VMware Workspace ONE for client and device management, valuing features like Client Control and per-service tooling. Despite occasional bugs, it offers a good ROI with enhanced security compliance. We switched from Microsoft SCCM due to outdated capabilities. |
VMware Administrator at Ingram Micro Saudi Arabia | 1.5 | Workspace ONE UEM allows me to access internal applications from any device globally, but its portal is complicated compared to Microsoft's. Registering devices and navigating the menu are challenging, making Microsoft Intune a preferable alternative for user-friendliness. |
GM COE at Anuntatech Management Services Ltd | 4.5 | I use VMware Workspace ONE for managing applications on mobile and desktop devices, valuing its security and integration features. Improvements are needed in integration and support speed. I previously used Citrix, which no longer positions itself effectively. |
Project Engineer at CTC | 4.5 | We primarily use Workspace ONE UEM for mobile devices, valuing its integration for single sign-on. While it's secure and flexible, the dashboard is confusing and macOS management needs improvement compared to other solutions like Intune. |
Mobility Engineer at Lombard Odier Group | 4.0 | I use Workspace ONE UEM to manage devices and appreciate its instant synchronization feature. It outperforms Intune in sync speed. Improvements needed include DLP integration and data restrictions. Overall, it's a reliable tool but has room for enhancement. |
