We use Amazon WorkDocs for file sharing at our workplace.

Users don't need to rely on networks with Amazon WorkDocs, and team collaboration is easier when using WorkDocs. For content sharing, it provides automation features that can be customized according to needs, which are some of the best features that I appreciate.

The security framework we use internally with WorkDocs is not exposed outside. The role-based access is provided based on your role within the team. These are built-in features that are configurable from the AWS console.

Data encryption with Amazon WorkDocs can be improved. Security can be enhanced with more robust data encryption capabilities.

File migration is another area for improvement. If an organization is not using Amazon WorkDocs and their files are on-premises, better support for migration would be beneficial. Similar to data warehouses where facilities are available to move from one service to another, migration features could be enhanced with Amazon WorkDocs.

I have been working with Amazon Web Services solutions for seven to eight years, which has given me experience with Amazon WorkDocs.

The auditing features of Amazon WorkDocs have not helped meet compliance needs.

Amazon support resolves issues very quickly whenever we coordinate with them.

Initial setup on Amazon WorkDocs is straightforward because they provide it as a service.

I work as a software engineer in fraud prevention projects where I function primarily as a data engineer. I work with data warehouses, which are centralized storage systems where transactions through databases occur and data from various client sources is consolidated.

Amazon WorkDocs can be integrated with AWS Lambda and used with step functions. If publishing with SNS, WorkDocs can subscribe to SNS as well. The integration capabilities of WorkDocs with other AWS services are strong.

For access, we use Okta with our AWS account, and we can only log in through our laptops. We authenticate and access whatever services we are authorized to use from the company. Mobile access is not allowed.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Amazon WorkDocs an 8.

I used this solution to place a knowledge folder on the cloud so that I can access my files for references from anywhere in the world. 

Our organization is quite small, we only have roughly 20 to 30 employees using this solution. I would like to continue using this solution, but we are waiting for approval.

This solution is great for inviting and sharing documents with other users.

The synchronization should be simplified. Other solutions like Dropbox and OneDrive have apps. I tried using the mobile version, but it didn't work properly, that needs to be improved. It was cumbersome. It's a good solution for a small organization like ours, but it really depends on your use-cases and the size of your organization. 

I had a very bitter experience with their mobile app. It was challenging to even download it and once I did, I wasn't even able to log into my system. The mobile app needs to improved for easy use.

I have only been using this solution for a couple of weeks.

I find this solution very stable compared to the other solutions I have used.

The initial setup was very straightforward. We didn't experience any complications.

We're only using a trial version. The service vendor gave it to us to trial.

Amazon WorkDocs is not expensive. It's cheaper compared to similar products on the market.

I would definitely recommend this solution to other potential users. People only know of It because it is included with OneDrive. The marketing should be better, but I would definitely recommend it.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Amazon WorkDocs a rating of eight. If their mobile version was better, I would give them a higher rating.
