Optimizes business processes, is user-friendly and flexible
The software is user-friendly, flexible, and can be used with various data sources. It provides various reports and charts that help organizations to identify areas for improvement and optimize their processes. ABBYY Timeline is a great choice for business process analysts, process owners, and IT professionals who are looking for a tool to help them analyze and optimize their processes. The process flow/diagram is the most valuable feature, as it offers a helpful visual simulation that allows users to see what's happening in the grand scheme of things and then drill down into specific tasks and processes to see where the bottlenecks are. For those companies that look for the low-hanging fruit in terms of process automation and operational excellence, this is the tool you need to succeed.

Automation in banking has reduced manual analysis and has provided consistent high ROI
UiPath Process Mining has provided us with FTE resource reductions, and we have achieved a health summary of this automation with around a 98-99% success rate, which helps us generate ROI on a month-to-month basis. I was part of the initial setup process for everything on the infrastructure side. The initial setup was quite easy with ease of installation because we had direct support from UiPath community, and the infrastructure team was also involved, making it an overall smooth journey for us. I have not communicated much with technical support over the years because UiPath has its community, which resolves most of our queries. On the rare occasions when we have contacted technical support, I found them to be really good, possessing excellent technical expertise, and every issue we raised was resolved 100%. I find UiPath Process Mining to be scalable, which is why we deployed it on AWS cloud, as we do not have to focus on scaling or increasing our automation use cases since we have set it up for auto-scaling. In terms of stability and reliability, I find UiPath Process Mining to be quite stable, and I would rate it around nine out of ten for the application's performance. Overall, I would rate this solution a 9 out of 10.

Pros

"ABBYY Timeline provides various reports and charts that help us identify areas for improvement and optimize our business processes."
"It empowers employee decision-making. It helps them locate bottlenecks and remediate items."
"Process mapping tool is most valuable tool."
"UiPath provides exceptional customer service and support, primarily due to its active community forum, community.uipath.com, which offers 24/7 support from developers and community members."
"The core mining analysis is strong."
"It provides root cause analysis, which identifies delays and deviations in processes, visualizes bottlenecks, and assesses their impact with insightful visualizations."
"ProcessGold has given my organization extensive visibility and understanding of business operations."
"I find the root cause analysis and the reference models to be valuable features of UiPath Process Mining."
"For us, the most important feature of UiPath Process Mining is something called Document Understanding. We have found it to be extremely valuable, given that the current situation we have right now is that it's not just pure automation of manual and repetitive tasks. What we're doing is more along the lines of what you could call "intelligent" automation. Document Understanding plays a great role in this type of process automation because it helps us in automating the reading of documents better and, therefore, helps to automate intelligence for our customers."

Cons

"There are a couple of new features available in Timeline that still need more time to mature."
"We feel there is some problem with the user interface, it is sometimes difficult to navigate to the area you want. Additionally, the bot hangs at times."
"It is an expensive solution. It would be good if the company could consider some type of change to the licensing model that could help clients better regulate the costs in different ways."
"It would be beneficial to improve the cost since it is quite expensive."
"It is stable, but not the top of the curve. It can be improved, let's put it that way."
"Process mining is something that we are doing, but I think it needs to be more mature. UiPath is still new to process mining. They are decent in SAP ERP when it comes to process mining. But compared to Oracle's E-Business Suite and all, they are still pretty new."
"In an upcoming release, they could improve on the customization."
"We sometimes can have some issues with the scalability on the platform because we are sharing the licenses."
"We may need additional features for processing data."
