Stable product but hard to integrate
Adobe Connect is not bad for connecting and integrating for remote connecting and video streaming. I think it was not bad, actually.  I don't integrate it in my project. Some other guys work on that. But I think they had some sort of problems with integration with that product. But, they managed to…

Simple to set up, reasonable pricing, and useful remote control capabilities
I'm on the latest version of the solution. I just updated it yesterday. While we have the solution on-premises at this time, we'll likely move to the cloud later this year. They have a trial version that you can try. They have a free version that you can try as well. I use it myself to support my family. I would try the free version or the trial version depending on your business. They can set you up and you can get to see all the features. I would also advocate going to the cloud version. Don't bother with the on-prem. It's just easier to jump to the cloud. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Persistence for webinar rooms Fast video playing Integration and reusability of the same webinar."
"Connect helped us move away from WebEx and use a tool more suitable for learning."
"The solution can scale well."
"The most critical feature is the POA, but Breakout sessions are definitely my favorite."
"The solution is very stable, with no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze, making it highly reliable for our training and webinar needs."
"It is a stable product."
"I like Adobe Connect because of its flexibility."
"We have a lot of people using the product, board members and senior staff and we also have support staff running the meetings."
"Being able to quickly remotely access other computers from anywhere, supporting our other users is simple and quick to do."
"Recently I needed to remotely access the software at my office, and I was able to connect using the software and access the information I needed within a minute or two, rather than having to drive to the office to get into the computer system."
"We took a crack at ScreenConnect and we really liked what we saw and how it worked properly."
"I am able to support our remote users; this has been a great help."
"We researched prior to evaluating any remote access solutions and decided that Screenconnect was our first choice; we initiated a trial and have not looked back at any other solutions."
"I do love the monitoring page. If you are using ConnectWise Control, which is the on-prem version, when you are logged into the admin panel, there is a status page that checks network connectivity, the status of the license, and so on."
"If you are looking for a quick and easy web-based connection session without the need to be on intranet, then this is the solution for you."
"The product is really easy to deploy."

Cons

"We would like to see support for exportable files that have been uploaded into Adobe Connect as templates for activities."
"Interface and layout options could be improved."
"It needs faster and easier upgrades."
"I would like to see btter integration."
"The solution is quite expensive. In Brazil, Connect is only for obtaining international standards for international companies."
"The troubleshooting process for Adobe Connect could be improved."
"They could improve on the VoIP capabilities."
"Other solutions have more marketing and more visibility. Nobody knows Adobe Connect exists."
"The previous version of ScreenConnect was so old that it was blocked by Windows Defender, SmartScreen, and most anti-virus applications."
"My immediate supervisor said it was lacking in documentation and had too many words to describe how to use the product when crafting instructions to send to our third party consultant who was going to connect to our system behind our firewall."
"The recent redesign has made it slower and basically worthless."
"However, the main issue I have seen with it is that, if they are having issues with their web browsers or network, there is really no way to connect with it."
"I thought it was a little bit difficult to set up, it was complicated."
"There can be some complexities when running patches or when building up all the profiles, making them areas where improvements are required."
"I have not had to deal with their tech support very much. When I have, I was not thrilled with their support."
"We have had issues. We have had circumstances, for reasons we don't know, where the service will stop running, and when the service stops running that computer no longer becomes reachable. We haven't really seen that so much on desktops, but we have seen that happen quite frequently on server operating systems, Server 2008, Server 2012. You can install the product and then a week down the road it will just stop."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The purchasing process is complicated. It would be beneficial if it were more simplified."
"It is expensive."
"Adobe Connect is free of cost."
"For the price we pay, we definitely feel it's worth it, but there are some contenders in the market that are coming out now, whose products are as good; they are offering more features and the price is actually less than ConnectWise. All things considered, the biggest thing is the lack of patching in ConnectWise. If they could integrate that into the product, that would be a game changer, if offered at the same price point."
"Make sure you have enough licensing for all the techs that you have."
"We pay $85 per month for each user for a ConnectWise package with multiple solutions."
"Pricing is fair for Control and the licensing is simple."
"I download the product for free with ConnectWise RMM's license."
"Their licensing model is good, their pricing model is good, their service is good; bandwidth is excellent. They're consistent."
"It is priced fairly."
"ConnectWise Control is not an overly expensive tool. Its pricing is reasonable."
