Efficiency improves with automation, but data accuracy needs enhancement
What I appreciate about Apollo.io most is its Chrome extension which is very user-friendly, and it has excellent sequencing capabilities that make it easier to stay consistent with outreach. The fact that it combines both database and outreach tools in one place is valuable. I utilize Apollo.io's lead scoring feature extensively. The experience with Apollo.io's CRM integration capabilities for managing pipelines is excellent. The ability to integrate with HubSpot, which I frequently use as my CRM, is outstanding. It also works seamlessly with Gmail and automation tools such as make.com or Zapier. As an SDR using Apollo.io, there is no need to copy-paste leads as everything can be automated and integrated. When leads are extracted, they automatically transfer to the CRM. This saves considerable time, and activities such as emails, calls, meetings can be automated in the CRM.

Offers the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting
We do a lot of analytics and reporting ourselves. We don't necessarily use all the features that Pipedrive provides, but it's very helpful at least. It has streamlined our deal-closing process. We use it for everything. When we create a lead, we put it into Pipedrive. That lead can be converted into an opportunity, which we manage through our whole pipeline. This includes having all data related to the opportunity in one place. Once the deal is closed, we use Pipedrive to follow up on the invoices until they are paid. We also manage sales commissions and payments to our salespeople through Pipedrive.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It is a scalable solution."
"I saw the benefits of Apollo.io immediately when I started using it because I wanted that kind of information to enable me to do my work better."
"Compared to other tools, they are a bit accurate when it comes to CSV uploads."
"The product's most valuable feature is its ease of use, especially for beginners."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is the intent data it provides our company. I find it really interesting how Apollo.io can detect the intent of companies looking for your company's solution."
"The fact that it combines both database and outreach tools in one place is valuable."
"I like the tool's UI. Its user experience is clear."
"Their Waterfall Enrichment has evolved significantly—previously, they only used their own database, but nowadays, they use Waterfall Enrichment where multiple tools can be selected to provide email data, and I can select as many tools as I want, add APIs, link external tools, and add AI, which are all very useful features, especially when it comes to finding mobile numbers."
"It is a stable platform."
"The biggest and the best feature is the view that you get when you log in. You have a board like Kanban when you log in, and you've got a column on the left and several other columns that move to the right, depending on where you are in a particular deal. If it's a prospect or someone who is just looking, you move it along the process, and it really helps you keep track of where you are."
"Pipedrive makes it easy to understand who I'm talking to at a glance. It has all the activities, node features, opportunity interface, deal interface, and time drive deals. The sales process is extremely simple, which saves me time and energy. I can send the document for e-signature and make the most out of my deals. I can automatically send emails and phone calls. You need to do only a little API programming. It offers massive flexibility. You can run an entire enterprise on the platform. The ease of use facilitates huge adoption."
"The most useful thing is the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting."
"The solution is pretty easy to use and intuitive."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to create timelines and custom fields."
"The solution is very stable."

Cons

"The data accuracy needs improvement, especially compared to tools such as ZoomInfo, though Apollo.io is more cost-effective."
"Apollo.io still needs to work on the CRM part because it has started building some CRM infrastructure for companies to use and track their sales activities."
"There was an issue with Apollo.io earlier this year or sometime last year when there was a breach regarding its use on LinkedIn, and many people were unhappy about it."
"They should provide a larger number of free emails."
"We want to find distributors, but in Apollo.io, from the LinkedIn data, I think it does not have a distribution option."
"Sometimes we get the wrong information on Apollo. They should improve the emails because we are connecting all the emails and logging on to Apollo.io."
"The data accuracy needs improvement, especially compared to tools such as ZoomInfo, though Apollo.io is more cost-effective."
"The emails are not that accurate, so improvements in that area would be beneficial."
"The platform could be even more robust."
"The tool's APIs are challenging. It should also be compliant with HIPAA, FINRA and GLBA. The data centers should be within US so that they are compliant with regulations."
"The form builder works even though it has some shortcomings...Also, the forms don't have the ability to avoid or stop people from signing up if they don't have a corporate email."
"The product is expensive."
"We are using the lowest version of it. As we become more sophisticated, we might outgrow the tool, but there are features that are available in the higher-level versions, which I'm unfamiliar with, that might be able to meet the needs we would have in the future. They can maybe add some of the features to the basic version or make it more reasonably priced or free."
"In future releases, I would like to have a highly intelligent integration service where you can easily connect PipeDrive with other tools, even if you are not a developer."
"New features sometimes seem bolted on rather than being smooth."
"The integration possibilities with other systems could be better as well. We use it in connection with Octopus CRM, and there's room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution's price is reasonable."
"With my idea about the pricing aspect of Apollo.io, I feel that the solution's pricing model is super good and a steal for what the product offers."
"Paid versions are likely to provide more accurate information and offer more convenience to users."
"The solution's pricing is excellant. It costs 65 dollars a month for top tier plan."
"Pipedrive keeps increasing the prices, which is becoming a bit annoying. It was reasonable when we started, but now they're increasing all the time."
"The solution is affordable."
"Pipedrive is relatively more affordable than other solutions."
"The product is expensive but provides valuable services."
"Pipedrive is the most cost-effective in terms of the balance between cost and features. I would take Pipedrive over HubSpot or Zoho CRM. It's well-positioned on the market."
"We pay $1000 a month for the tool."
"As of now, the pricing and value are quite good."
