Cloud security has improved as AI-driven runtime protection detects threats and reduces incidents
In my opinion, Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks could be improved or enhanced in various ways. I don't have an idea about that yet because for that you actually need to use two or three different other tools to make a basic comparison. If you ask me how good the tool is, I would fairly rate it quite high. The tool is very popular, and customers can already see that it is one of the cloud leaders in the security space. The platform had a very good feature which provides documentation links about how to use a specific feature on the UI. It takes you to the proper documentation page where it suggests what to do and tells you about the steps that need to be done for a resource deployment. My thoughts about improving the product which I believe could greatly aid vendors is that it used to be a very user-friendly tool, but now they have incorporated everything under one umbrella. It has XDR, XSOAR, and Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks. Before, we used to have separate modules and separate environments for each of these capabilities or features. Right now, it is a little complex and users would take their own time to know the tool better. This is something that would have been way better, but I would say there would be different opinions on this. Talking about user-friendliness, it has decreased now.

Centralized risk-based workflows have reduced alert fatigue and improve on-time secure delivery
ArmorCode is a strong ASPM platform that provides centralized visibility and risk-based prioritization, and there are several areas where it could be enhanced to improve the user experience and increase adoption across development teams. Improvements could include more AI-powered remediation guidance, improved developer experience, enhanced predictive risk analysis, strong cloud-native visibility such as Kubernetes, custom reporting, and dashboards including custom risk scorecards, team-specific dashboards, and faster onboarding and setup of new security tools. Improvements could also include pre-built integration, automation, automated connector setup, guided onboarding, and better risk connection that assesses criticality, business impact, data sensitivity, and internet exposure. The most important improvements needed are strong cloud-native visibility, enhanced predictive risk analysis, adding AI-powered remediation guidance, and an improved developer experience. Predictive risk analysis is one area that needs enhancement. While ArmorCode is already excellent at centralizing security findings and prioritizing risk, these improvements could further reduce remediation time and make the platform even more valuable for both security and development teams. Enhancing AI-powered remediation guidance would improve developer experience. For AI-powered remediation guidance, instead of only identifying vulnerabilities, ArmorCode could provide detailed fix recommendations, secure code examples, root cause analysis, and automated remediation suggestions.

Unified dashboards have streamlined code‑to‑cloud risk tracking and reduced manual reviews
The best features of Wiz Code that I appreciate the most include their entire dashboarding and the seamless integration with different DevOps tooling like GitHub or Azure DevOps. It seamlessly integrates, allowing you to run scanners directly onto the machines without consuming too many resources, and the recategorization of vulnerabilities is absolutely wonderful, giving you a complete attack path, which is something I love about Wiz Code because it details the entire lateral movement of the issue, whether it is a complete shift-left or shift-right, serving as the differentiators compared to other tools in the market. When I talk about ROI with Wiz Code, it almost cuts you down to 20% to 25% of the daily effort needed in terms of FTE. If you are working with around 100 developers or engineers, you might come down to 60 to 70 engineers, with the rest completely automated by removing false positives, showcasing where the USP comes in.

"Wiz Code has positively impacted my organization because it is better on a daily basis; we receive new cases, and it is easy to analyze and take care of them."

Cons

"The pricing is high, making ROI challenging to justify, especially during transitions between solutions."
"The negative aspects or areas for improvement in the product include the fact that the cost might be a bit high, which challenges commercials, but not technically."
"My thoughts about improving the product which I believe could greatly aid vendors is that it used to be a very user-friendly tool, but now they have incorporated everything under one umbrella."

"As per my experience with Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks, the UI could be simpler."
"Overall, I rate Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks as an eight out of ten. I think that it could improve on price, as I know that the Google solution has the best price, and this is one of the conditions."
"Cortex Cloud by Palo Alto Networks is creating some confusion in terms of names because this is recent."
"From the commercial perspective, we have some limitations because Palo Alto has a minimum number of users of endpoints set at 200, which is quite high for the Italian market."
"I would like to see more AI-driven remediation recommendations, deeper contextual risk analysis, and additional workflow automation for the enterprise environment."
"Improvements could include more AI-powered remediation guidance, improved developer experience, enhanced predictive risk analysis, strong cloud-native visibility such as Kubernetes, custom reporting, and dashboards including custom risk scorecards, team-specific dashboards, and faster onboarding and setup of new security tools."
"Wiz Code has many features, and I think they could continue to enhance customization according to our requirements."
"Regarding pricing, I would say that the pricing model is a little bit hefty on the pocket."
"The dashboards can be better; we have dashboards, but they are really complex and have a lot of information."
"One noticeable aspect is that we are receiving some false positives, but this is better compared to the previous tool I used."
"Wiz Code could be better in secret scanning where no push protections are enabled at the GitHub or GitLab level to prevent pushing secrets on GitHub itself."
"There are many improvements that could be made to Wiz Code, but I would point out that sometimes it gives false results, though not every time."
"Metadata ingestion and probably the integration of Wiz Code platform is something which is missing."
"I rate the accuracy and reliability as good, but not yet at a level where I trust it without validation."
