Improved collaboration costs have been reduced while daily stand-ups and events run more efficiently
If I were to discuss how Zoom Workplace Business can be improved, I feel that it is providing good service overall; however, the scaling aspect could be enhanced. Even though it has great scalability, if they can make it even more scalable, it would be really good. Also, while the integration is good, with the growth of AI, advancing the AI part to enable other workflows within the application would be beneficial. Those are some observations from my part, but otherwise, I feel everything is all right. I would love to see advanced AI integrations with major players such as Google and Amazon. Talking about scalability, Zoom Workplace Business is definitely a scalable solution, accommodating up to 1,000 people at once. However, when exceeding that number, the bandwidth may be disturbed and the latency may reduce; I have witnessed that issue occurring during large events, which is why I highlighted this part.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We use the solution for team collaboration, document sharing, and video conferencing services. It integrates well with on-premises video conferencing systems and supports chatting through text messaging and instant messaging."
"I like the share information function."
"Interesting collaboration features."
"It is very easy to jump from one communication channel to another one. It is pretty clear and very easy to do. That is the thing that I like the most from Avaya and their suite."
"I have been satisfied with the features and capability of Zoom."
"The ability to make video calls is the solution's most valuable aspect."
"I would recommend Zoom to others because it's easy and serves its intended purpose well."
"Zoom is easy to set up meetings, and the features work well."
"Zoom is a scalable solution, we have 150,000 people using it in my organization."
"One of the most valuable features is the user interface. With every new update, they introduce new useful features."
"The main benefit is that it allows us to easily connect and collaborate, even in areas with less reliable internet."
"Ability to record interviews."

Cons

"Increase in participant numbers reduces quality of video and sound."
"The installation could be more straightforward. I would like it to work with other meeting software in the next release."
"Avaya IX Meetings' deployment is complex."
"There isn't too much information about Avaya solutions and that could be very much improved. If you want some product support, you have to go through a business partner in Latin America and there aren't many partners."
"The performance could be better."
"Setting up and understanding the tool takes time."
"I don't have any particular issues, but I think the user interface could be improved. Previously, I used Microsoft Teams, where the chat, video, and audio options were all easily accessible in one place, making the user experience smoother. In Zoom, it's a bit more manual. For example, we must use external chat options like Slack and manually send the Zoom URL link to initiate a chat. In MicrosoftTeams, you can directly call and chat with someone from the contact list simultaneously."
"The solution can improve by having the option to be able to lock the primary speaker on high definition the entire time. Additionally, it would be a benefit to have easy Zoom room-like features for individuals using lightboards. There should be quick invitations and integration with Slack and Outlook."
"Maybe the UI could be improved a bit."
"Sometimes the free version is limited to forty-five minutes. For students, it would be beneficial to have access through the university for longer meetings."
"How they have the gallery aligned when someone is sharing a screen isn't ideal right now. If there were more options on how to arrange it, would be ideal."
"Zoom could be improved by adding more third-party integrations. They should also work on their virtual backgrounds. I think these could be more professional and creative."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Avaya IX Meetings' licensing costs are monthly."
"I'm using a subscription. The price is reasonable. It costs about $20 a year."
"We have an annual subscription to the solution. The price could be reduced."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
"We use the free version of the product. We utilize it only three to four times a month."
"The tool's pricing is reasonable. I think we get discounts as an organization."
"We have an account but we are also using the free version."
"As an organization, we are paying a license fee for Zoom. Personally, I use the free version."
"I use the free version of Zoom that is available for download."
"I am making yearly payments. So, I am paying 250 USD a year."
