Helps users keep track of everything from one place
The most valuable features of the solution stem from the fact that we can track all of it in one place across all those different locations. Because it's cloud-based and reports up to the cloud, we also have access to the back end, and an incident response team monitors all incidents. We also have an escalation process in place. From my perspective, there are other pieces of CrowdStrike that the security architect team uses as well, but I don't get involved with those as much. I usually just wait for the end results or the notification if I need to get involved if there is an incident.

Reasonable price, scalable, useful for Malops detections, and helpful for layered defense
We are not satisfied with their support. We are facing some challenges. They should be proactive, but we have to chase them a lot. This is where there is room for improvement. They should be proactively serving their customers. We had some batch update issues, and we're still working on them. We are almost there, but it took a couple of email exchanges in order to achieve it.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I would recommend Falcon Complete for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative that's almost the same quality as Cortex."
"The continuous improvement in detections and response times is valuable. They are more focused on threats that come from the cloud, not only that we see."
"It is very easy to manage the licenses centrally because these are cloud licenses. There is no need for manual data reports."
"One unique thing that they offer is a breach warranty. We basically have a warranty of up to $100,000 should there be any breach that they're not able to manage."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete provides complete details of any malicious activity, including the impact date and file source."
"The most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is the lightweight design, easily manageable portal, and minimal IT maintenance required."
"It has good security features."
"EDR and Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) are good features. The Spotlight feature is also good, and it also can detect patching-related vulnerabilities."
"It has a lot of things for Malops detections."

Cons

"What could be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is the threat hunting feature and the insights it provides, in particular, the variable analysis feature. Protection against zero-day threats and sandboxing could also be improved in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete. If you compare it with other solutions, it can go head-to-head, but the features I mentioned still need improvement."
"The initial setup was slightly complex although it's an easier solution."
"The one issue with Falcon Complete is that it can't be run manually if you find any viruses or malicious files in a post."
"There can be an application for the mobile device for the administrator of the platform to have an overview. In less than two minutes, they should be able to see what is going on and take action."
"The biggest thing is to scan into your Office 365 environment, not from a cloud access security broker standpoint, but from the Secure Access Security Edge standpoint in protecting the Copilot ecosystem. Copilot has become more widely popular than I could have imagined. You need to back up and protect your Office 365 tools anyway, and Copilot is just a high sense of awareness."
"There is room for improvement in the AI of CrowdStrike, known as Charlotte AI, which my team does not currently use. Additionally, patch management in vulnerabilities needs improvement."
"Like any other solution, a lower price would make CrowdStrike Falcon Complete more appealing."
"The technical support is good. However, the technical support is outsourced to India which causes some language barriers. I am not sure if this is still an issue, they might have allotted more suitable representatives."
"Their support needs improvement. We have to chase the Customer Success Manager a lot to get things done. It should have more features in terms of portability. It should be more scalable on other endpoints such as mobile devices and BYOD."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Falcon Complete isn't too pricy."
"The price is okay, although you're not going to get away cheap when it comes to security."
"Falcon Complete could be a bit cheaper."
"There is an annual subscription."
"There are different lengths of licenses available, such as three and five years. The price of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is expensive."
"It's expensive. Its price varies because it's a modular solution."
"It is expensive, but looking at the capabilities that it brings, it is reasonable. There are no additional costs to the licensing costs. If you increase the number of licenses, support is included."
"The licensing cost for CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is fair, and I would give it a five out of five. You have to pay per device/user."
"Its price is reasonable, but there are other products that are cheaper than this."
