Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Enterprise Cloud Cost Over And Visibility Parts at a manufacturing company with 10,001+ employees
Clear license visibility has reduced waste and guides current software spending decisions
We often communicate with the technical support of Flexera One, and they are providing a good service to us. We are raising cases for the SKU-based library of Flexera One. Suppose there are SKUs which are not recognized. We raise a case with them asking if they could please recognize this SKU or add this SKU to the SKU library. We are in touch with them. Suppose we are not understanding any feature of Flexera One, then we are asking them for a one-to-one call. They interact with us and easily tell us things which we can understand. I will give it a 10 for the technical support of Flexera One on a scale from one to ten.

User-friendly modules impress with customization options while IT knowledge base updates remain incomplete
It's a vast product, and we use ManageEngine IT Asset Management because it has an Ops Manager, Event Viewer, Site 24/7, PAM360, and AD Manager among many options that we plan to explore in the future environment. ManageEngine IT Asset Management explores detailed aspects such as RAM frequency, RAM brand, product, expiry date, users, roles, technicians, groups, support groups, Active Directory, SAML, single sign-on, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, proxy settings, and template forms. We are satisfied with the product because each module is user-friendly, and we can customize it based on our organization's requirements. We are looking into the automated IT asset discovery feature. We have configured the incoming and outgoing mail server so that when users send an email to our standardized mail ID, it automatically creates a ticket. In the future, we will explore automation features such as SLA, KPI, and KRA to align targets, manage resources, assess project utilization, and assign tickets based on priority levels.

"Human errors have been rectified due to bot usage."
"The solution has removed humans making errors while increasing our time savings, and we now have a lot more efficiencies in our process."

"It is a stable solution."

"Flexera One helps us gain more customers because we are able to look after customer assets, which is really good."
"I recommend it highly."
"So the solution has a really great licensing module, and they're constantly keeping up with the newest trends."
"Flexera One helps us maintain a clear picture of our finances, showing what software we have purchased this year and what we should purchase next year."
"It is a great product, and we are very satisfied with the features."
"As far as IT Asset Management is concerned, I would rate it at ten out of ten."

"The auto-discovery feature has helped us a lot."
"In my opinion, it is the MDM; patch management and deployment are the valuable features."
"The technical support is great."
"It's very smart. I use it with minimal adjustments needed."
"ManageEngine IT Asset Management helps with guarantee and warranty period management, license expiration tracking, device patches, and integration with our finance system for depreciation and invoicing."

Cons

"The schedule queue needs improvement. When one task fails, everything else gets stuck, requiring manual intervention to clear the problematic schedule and trigger the other tasks."
"We encountered issues during the upgrade of the framework."
"There can be some options to connect to the database directly where we should be able to add some data."
"I would suggest going with Microsoft Power Automate rather than Automation Anywhere because Power Automate's cloud flow is easier to use."
"Applications like Microsoft Power Automate do have zero-code systems. I've not done much research on Automtin Anywhere in comparison. However, if Automation Anywhere could also have something of that sort, that would be a game changer."
"I would like better support. The technical support is mediocre. The support is sometimes really good, and sometimes it is really bad."
"Cognitive services and PDF file automation should be refined."
"We encountered issues during the upgrade of the framework. We were using the older framework of version 10.3.5. When we were upgrading, we were having a few issues in terms of getting the proper hardware and software prerequisites. For some things, like getting the controls of some of the application's tools, we were getting Automation Anywhere's help."
"The mainframe need improvement."
"Sun Solaris server discovery needs to be improved. Apple Mac OS was not supported fully."
"While it shows various configurations regarding where my server and VM are placed, it does not indicate how many licenses are needed or how the calculations are performed."
"They could improve their reporting. I'd particularly like them to allow you to schedule it."
"The biggest challenge I am facing is that Flexera One has a lot of data. It takes time to load and process."
"One area that could use improvement is the deployment of Flexera agents."
"The customer support is fairly decent; it could be better in terms of the quality of answers provided."
"Flexera One does not have an agent for it, so it can't report on mainframe usage."
"Responses from ManageEngine should be faster."
"I would love to see a digital adoption feature or guide that navigates first-time users through the application, as it is quite complex with many relevant and irrelevant elements."
"The asset management tool is costly compared to other tools in the market."
"It would be helpful if there were a premium technician license that includes all the suites, eliminating the need to buy separate licenses for each feature."
"It requires some development to be better, more comfortable, and usable, enhancing customer satisfaction."
"Currently, we are having some challenges in managing assets. We are still managing them in Excel sheets and keeping a track of them outside the system."
"The assets that can be discovered are pretty easy to manage, but there should be a better way to manage non-discoverable assets. Our development team works on bots and tests particular hardware. They have got different varieties of hardware. They want a feature for managing these assets within a warehouse kind of environment. For example, our IT has received 100 items, and they have assigned these items as a bulk unit to a project manager. The project manager further wants to distribute these items within his or her team. Instead of maintaining a separate Excel sheet, the project manager should be able to reallocate these items from within the tool so that we have hierarchical entities for the same unit."
"I hope it includes barcode features, as barcode scanning and MacAdes cannot currently be mapped with this field."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Automation Anywhere is thought to be quite expensive, especially for smaller organizations."
"It saves on the quality of work, because the quality can be bad when somebody's doing it. If a bot does the work, it's faster and comes with good quality. These are two important things along with the cost saving in the long run. That's where the value is."
"It's cheaper than other similar solutions."
"Time-wise: We have saved hundreds of thousands of hours."
"It is subscription-based. They have different schemes. The price depends on how you negotiate with the local partner or local representative in your country."
"We purchase on a bot basis. Our costs are approximately $5,000."
"The solution is costly and the licensing is very confusing."
"The pricing and licensing of Automation Anywhere plays an important rule in the Indian market because in the Indian market $10,000 USD is too much. Hence, the pricing tends to go down depending on the customer relationship with the partner: A starter pack is $10,000 and an enterprise pack is $100,000. If you go through an implementation partner, you can get good deals. They can save some money."
"I can say that from a price perspective, you can go for FlexNet Manager if you have a very small environment."
"It was certainly on a par with the price we were paying for Snow License Manager. It wasn't overly expensive."
"Its price is reasonable, but I wish it was lower."
