Similar to Jamf Protect, AI capabilities would be an amazing addition. Jamf Safe Internet also needs some improvement because it is very technical. We are currently blocking websites based on URLs, but it would be better to have an option to block websites based on keywords instead of URLs. While this is somewhat technical, having this capability would be better because it is always an issue to find a way to block sites based on keywords instead of URLs. Regarding room for improvement, additional features such as AI capabilities and an improved blocking mechanism would be beneficial. Jamf School has the feature to support Chromebooks as well, but because of the limitation of keyword detection and blocking, we are not using it and instead use another tool. The Chromebook support is provided, and I have heard about Windows support as well, though I have not tried it yet. Perhaps next year I can explore it. Currently, we are using Jamf School with Apple devices only, specifically iPads.

In my view, Microsoft 365 Business has all the features, but there are some areas for improvement. One area is that the licensing structure can be confusing, especially with the different plans, so understanding each plan is somewhat difficult. When using large Excel files, such as extracting data from an SQL query and pasting it into Excel, it sometimes encounters performance issues when dealing with large files. Integration with non-Microsoft tools is sometimes limited; however, integration within the Microsoft tools is very good. It would be useful if it were possible to integrate with other tools outside of Microsoft. Managing permissions and access in SharePoint and Teams can be complex for new users, but once they become familiar with the tool, they can manage it easily. The security and permissions for new users in SharePoint and Teams can be made more intuitive for them. Additionally, the pricing structure, which involves explaining different plans, could be clearer to help users easily choose the plan they need. Improving performance when working on large Excel files would also be beneficial.

Pros

"Jamf School has achieved 70 to 90% time savings through automated enrollment and Wi-Fi certificates, which represents 90% less time on provisioning and ongoing device management."
"The solution protects all our Apple products like iPads and MacBooks."
"The most valuable features of Jamf School are exceptional, as it is amazing to manage the entire iPad fleet while pushing applications and controlling student safety, which is a concern we take seriously."
"It was straightforward to initially deploy it."
"Many features of Jamf School, including automated device enrollment, have helped us manage multiple devices."
"The overall usage is the most valuable, and it's a clear upgrade from our previous system."
"We can access it from anywhere. We can access it from home, the office, or any other place. It is a simple and the right product for the current COVID situation."
"It is easy to use."
"Overall the product meets our needs."
"Collaboration is one of the main features of Microsoft 365 Business."
"One of the most valuable features is this solution makes a lot of tasks easier, such as storing files and the maintenance of your infrastructure. additionally, the solution is easy to use."
"The largest benefit today is that it integrates with Teams which is quite useful and the overall integration is good."
"The Exchange Online plan is helpful, as it's built into the email like a security feature or AI that helps to manage email and has helped my company and clients a lot."
"The solution has been easy to use and is very user-friendly."

Cons

"The product must improve its price."
"If you start the system update in Jamf School, you cannot stop it."
"Having everything centralized would be a preferable update."
"Jamf Safe Internet also needs some improvement because it is very technical."
"There is room for improvement with the security aspects, like scripting."
"We would like to see the solution use more artificial intelligence bots in future releases."
"They can improve its price and make the way of sharing documents more secure."
"It's a bit complex in itself when you get into items such as security or compliance."
"The ability to manage the updates a little better would be helpful. Sometimes end-users will get a prompt in the middle of the day that they have to update. When there's a new update, then their system automatically starts to reboot, which can be ill-timed. Having a little more control over that would probably be welcome. Notices in regards to updates and being able to manage the timing around them or to be able to do it at off-times would be helpful."
"There are some security issues with the platform, and its security should be improved. We have to re-enter the username and password sometimes, which is quite boring for us. The usability of Outlook can be improved. Currently, it is a little bit limited and old-fashioned. They should think about the concept of dealing with emails in Teams. Teams and Outlook together will make it a complete platform. The Teams application is not user-friendly on mobile phones and should be improved."
"The monthly license of the solution is quite expensive."
"Overall, I would rate Microsoft 365 Business a seven out of ten because there is a lot of scope for improvement; sometimes it gets laggy, and I don't know if there's an issue with our system or our connectivity."
"We are in a medical device space and most of the time we use Microsoft Excel for tracking a lot of information. In certain specific industries, such as aerospace and medical, from the FDA or other regulatory points of view, the solution has to be validated. It would be great if that validation document is provided by Microsoft 365 Business."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Jamf School is an expensive solution."
"The price of the Microsoft 365 Business is fair. It is a great suite of products, but then there are other great products on the market as well. The main concern is competition. With Microsoft generally, it comes down to what people have become familiar with, what people have grown up using when they were younger, and when they are older. It depends on the actual adoption of the environment that they work in. The price is not an issue, it is about what people are used to using, and what they are familiar with is what influences their purchase."
"Microsoft 365 Business will be good to have if you have a large organization where you have more than 3000 employees. Other cheaper solutions, like Gmail, are easily available in the market."
"I don't pay any licensing fees."
"It is quite expensive."
"The product's pricing could be better."
"There would be licensing costs because Microsoft 365 Business requires a product key and a license to be present in order to use its products."
"Licensing is on a monthly basis."
"We have an enterprise license, and we get some price off for that. Its price could be better for companies that are not using it massively."
