Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Automated updates have strengthened security and save me time on daily device management
In my opinion, the best features Kandji offers are its UI, which is very clean and clear to use, not overly cluttered, allowing me to see the icon of all the different apps that I can install, and when I click on the little icon in my toolbar, it shows me any updates which I am able to install, making it very easy to use. The clean UI and ease of use definitely save me time, probably cutting the time in half for trying to figure out when to install updates myself, because the notifications are pushed to me, which is good since I want to keep my system up to date without interfering with my workflow. Kandji has impacted my organization positively by definitely increasing security because it notifies you when an update is ready to be installed, and if you do not install it within a reasonable time frame, it would automatically install it, which is good, and it probably has saved at least 30% of my time from manually having to look for updates since it just notifies me when the update is ready. Kandji's automatic installation feature ensures our team's compliance or security posture, as it makes sure we are up to date and all on the same version of a particular tool, which is very important for a technical IT team to avoid differences that might affect functionality.

Effective product tracking and monitoring enhances daily operations despite needing documentation improvement
The documentation part of Workspace ONE UEM can be confusing. The documentation is not comprehensive compared to other VMware solutions or Microsoft documentation. Most people struggle to connect the dots when looking at the documentation. Even the training material and PowerPoint slide decks that trainers use are sometimes too confusing or overwhelming, with too much content but not enough clarity. The support side has recently become weaker compared to what it used to be with VMware. This is another area that needs improvement. Since working with Workspace ONE UEM from when it was AirWatch, it has improved significantly over the last five years. However, there are still some gray areas and scope for improvement, especially in documentation and workflow between different aspects of the solution.

"One big problem with Microsoft is that they're changing the names of the products quite often, or they're quite consistently doing so. Intune is now Endpoint administration. Constantly switching the user interface or the administrative interface makes it quite hard to keep pace. If you are on a two-week holiday and you come back and look at the same screen you have looked at for the last couple of months, it looks different, which is annoying. Changing things around all the time doesn't make it easy."
"They can improve their MAM policies a little bit more and make them more granular. They should include more granular group policies. They are there, but they need to be more granular. Its stability should also be improved. It is not very stable. Sometimes, it shows some inconsistencies across tenants."

I like the way that some of the other providers have done something similar where, as you open that app on an end-point device, it creates a micro VPN straight into your device, which is quite a nice little feature.
