Digital documentation has boosted team efficiency and provides secure remote manual access
The best feature is the mobile access to SharePoint. It is incredibly valuable for our technicians to view wiring diagrams and manuals directly on their tablets while working under a vehicle. It removes the need to walk back to the office, saving about 20 minutes per job. Additionally, the data security features give me peace of mind; even if a tablet is broken in the shop, our business data remains safe in the cloud.

Streamlined endpoint deployment has improved configuration and security workflows
It's a great tool that provides a lot of assistance from the Windows perspective with configuration and many other things. The newest feature that came up with AI is particularly valuable. I haven't used much of Windows Autopilot as it's very new to me. It's a cloud-based technology from Microsoft for performing the setup and pre-configuration of Windows devices. The way it assists in automated setup and streamlined deployment is great. I don't see any cons as of now.

"I like the user interface. It's pretty good. Data security is also there, and it gives you more storage space. It supports iOS and Android, which is good."
"Mobile access to SharePoint in Microsoft 365 Business saves a lot of time because it does not require physical presence, enabling everyone from various distances to access, save, and read all the manuals, which greatly increases efficiency in our business."
"The flexibility of having a subscription for the Office software, rather than having any upfront costs is the best part of this solution."
"It is easy to use."
"Everything that you need is included inside."
"Microsoft 365 Business is an easy-to-use solution."
"The way Windows Autopilot assists in automated setup and streamlined deployment is great."
"The solution is very stable."

It streamlines the configuration loading process, making it more unattended and yielding consistent results. This eliminates the need for an engineer to input data on each machine manually."
"The most effective feature of Windows Autopilot for managing deployments is the automation."
"Its most valuable feature is imaging, it takes very less time for processing."
"The most valuable aspect of Windows Autopilot is its automation features, which allow preset regulations and configurations."
"Windows Autopilot is very stable."
"It is the only choice if you're managing Windows devices with Intune and Azure."

Cons

"The platform's pricing needs improvement."
"The price could always be better. I live in Turkey, our economy is not very good."
"The diagnostics is an issue that needs to be addressed, as it cannot be seen when needed."
"We would like to see the solution use more artificial intelligence bots in future releases."
"There is potential for it to offer even more features such as compliance reporting and device management."
"It's still not fully consistent among all the platforms running on Windows and IOS. It's getting better and better, but there's still a lot of consolidation or integration work to be done."
"If you're looking at Microsoft 365, Intune is a part of that as well and Intune is kind of a nightmare."
"There should be more alignment between Windows solutions, mobile solutions, and web solutions."
"They could provide an executable and user-friendly wizard for installation and automatic removal, making it easier for users."
"If Microsoft can automatically add the license serial numbers, or have a method for us to get those serial numbers added to Windows Autopilot, apart from having to go through the device manufacturer that would greatly improve the solution."
"The Azure and Intune platform is not always available and quite often, there are service outages."
"Windows Autopilot could improve its user interface. While it is a good tool, there are other options available that are more user-friendly."
"Windows Autopilot could improve its user interface. While it is a good tool, there are other options available that are more user-friendly."
"We encounter issues with re-registering devices in the Azure domain."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have an enterprise license."
"The licenses could be cheaper."
"It is slightly expensive, but it doesn't have any hidden costs. You know what you're going to spend, and you get a decent ROI on it. It has subscription-based licensing. It helps you to figure out the amount of money that you would spend based on how many mailboxes you would require in a year, which makes it better as compared to a mail server for which you need to consider the licensing cost and the maintenance cost."
"There is a monthly subscription for the use of this solution."
"The price is fine."
"It is expensive. It should be cheaper, especially for companies and businesses. Licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The cost is on the high end, particularly when you have multiple users."
"We pay annually for the license."
"As far as I know, there isn't an additional cost specifically for Windows Autopilot itself. You'll need to consider the licensing fees for the software you install on the machines, such as Windows and Office. Overall, it is a valuable tool that simplifies the deployment process, making life easier for those involved."
"We are required to have a license for either EMS, E5, or E2."
