Boosts efficiency and significantly reduces operational costs
They handle all the training and implementation work, making it very easy to use. It integrates into Slack and connects with ServiceNow effortlessly. The only limitation is getting all the service requests or features in ServiceNow that it can learn. Anyone can use it through Slack by simply asking questions to receive answers. We partnered with them to build a Workday integration for requesting and checking time off. They are expanding across the enterprise as a co-pilot, integrating with HR, finance, Keeper, and Salesforce. We also use their communications module, which allows scheduled communications to be sent through Slack or Teams. These communications are personalized for each recipient. When comparing email engagement rates of 3% to Moveworks' 12%, the platform reaches approximately four times more people.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution saves us approximately three-quarters of a million dollars per year."
"Moveworks has reduced employee time because initially, employees used to spend so much time going to the third party to do all those jobs, and now they can simply do it via Otter, which is Moveworks, and this has saved much time and provided accurate results as well."
"Moveworks is a very good platform if you utilize it well."
"I have found Orchestrator is UiPath's most valued feature. It has the ability to automate different applications, such as, mainframe automation and Excel macros. It is so efficient. We can download up to seven days back in just one click, monitoring errors."
"The artificial intelligence and document understanding features are very good and have been helpful when it comes to processing handwritten or unstructured, especially when there is a high volume and it is repetitive."
"The ability to do citizen development is the most valuable feature. That initiative has helped us to expand it because that gives folks that are closer to the business the ability to develop their own solutions that are tailored to what they need to do, as opposed to waiting for someone in IT to contact them to build it out. Or to wait for a business analyst to provide some type of value metric, but they can actually go and build it themselves."
"The solution helps reduce human error."
"The easy development process is very useful for us."
"The most valuable feature of Studio is the ease of use for developers who do not have a technical background."
"This solution is intuitive, user-friendly, and has a specific framework that allows for quick robot deployment."
"The product as a whole is a valuable contributor to efficiency improvement."

Cons

"More use cases can be added to the agent marketplace and the YAML or the DSL methods can be simplified, adding more methods to make it easier for us to create compound actions."
"Moveworks can definitely be improved. Currently, we have to do most of the things on our own, such as creating UI and APIs for how things will work."
"StudioX could use some improvement to broaden the range of automation projects suitable."
"We would like to know the prerequisites when installing bots."
"To be considered a ten out of ten, UiPath Platform needs to enhance its capabilities, and I would lean into the integration of AI to coach and mentor you through the process."
"In UiPath they should improve the input and outputs of processes. I found it very complicated."
"UiPath has a wide range of features that they have brought into their ecosystem. If I look at something quite specific that we would like to see going forward, that would be the integration between Data Service and Insights. It is great that we are able to visualize our return on investments using Insights. We can see a whole bunch of metrics and how our processes are performing. I think what would give us a lot more power is if we could link that to Data Service and actually pull through some custom information."
"As things become more and more data-heavy and accessing other people's products and managing things, like obtaining the data through APIs, it feels like there could be a lot more for them to do, to make interacting with data or manipulating simple things like text strings. You need quite a strong development background or a reasonable level of understanding to achieve that. I think that could be made a little bit more achievable."
"UiPath is very stable. I have not had any issues in terms of that. The only issue we used to have was if a website were to change or an application were to change, but we have found ways to work around that and deal with those types of situations."
"The messages and alerts that Orchestrator generates are a little overwhelming. I'd like them to be filtered down to the most actionable things I need to look at. For many things, we set up an automation that will send an email summarizing things to the stakeholders for the automation. With any of these types of things, you're generating notices, emails, and things, so you want to focus on some things that need your attention."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Different licenses are used to activate features that the organization wants to use. For example, they offer licenses for UiPath Studio X, attended automation, unattended automation, document understanding, and so forth."
"I find the pricing to be reasonable, especially when compared to other offerings in the same market."
"If you want to start doing RPA, I think you should definitely go with UiPath because it has the Community edition. You can just install it and check whether or not your process works fine with UiPath. It will be an attended bot, but you can form an idea whether your bot can easily be automated."
"Its price is moderate. It is neither very expensive nor very cheap. Everything is good in terms of pricing."
"I would rate the pricing of UiPath eight out of ten with ten being the most expensive."
"Our licensing costs are roughly 1.1 million Danish krones a year."
"The pricing is moderate."
"The cost of the software was around $10,000."
