Easy setup and an a la carte pricing model
The solution needs a more modern interface. One of our biggest complaints is that we don't have the ability to dynamically push our interface to participants. Adobe Connect is an older technology, but it allows us to push our own layout and design to participants. One of the solution's strengths is that it's web-only but that is also a weakness. It is not a software solution but is browser-based which has its advantages and disadvantages. Zoom has become such a force that its ease of use surpasses ON24.

Security features improve telemedicine practices but usability complexity needs addressing
I am in a hospital setting where Webex is used for telemedicine The number one reason we chose Webex was the security features. It was the main reason why we chose Webex over other solutions. We do have other solutions as well, but for telemedicine, we decided that the best solution was Webex.…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution works well with third-party integrations."
"Friendly user interface and simple navigation."
"Integrates well with other Cisco solutions."
"We can easily connect the device and create a room and then we can call many devices."
"Easy to use virtual meeting solution. Installation was straightforward without the need for a technical team."
"The most valuable features are video conferencing, the integration with Outlook, and scheduling meetings."
"The solution is useful for communication."
"It's easy to dial the numbers and the process of connecting a call is very intuitive."
"Webex is user-friendly."
"Doing presentations on the solution is very good. There isn't much they could do to improve this aspect. It's excellent."

Cons

"Bandwidth optimization could be increased."
"The solution needs a more modern interface."
"There could be more some AI-related features."
"Webex could improve the calling feature. It would be helpful to be able to call outside the IP environment."
"Webex is limited to Cisco."
"Webex could improve by adding captions for the translation."
"There's some difficulty in Webex, particularly when a third party needs access and that third party is not part of the domain of the company, it could be difficult."
"Webex could be improved by having a password-protected system. I don't remember there being any passwords for the meetings, but, presently, Zoom has meeting protection."
"I was in a meeting on the free version where there were no controls. You couldn't mute somebody or put it in dedicated speaker mode. It was an important meeting, and because of the lack of an ability to control who the speakers were, we got a version of a heckler. Well, it wasn't really a heckler per se. It was just somebody who thinks they know everything."
"Sometimes we've had issues with the connection."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We paid $1,800 for five webinars, which is the standard fee. If you require support there is a $300 additional fee, extra attendees is an additional fee, integration is an additional fee, etc. All these extras could add on another $2,500 which was not in our budget."
"Webex is very expensive."
"The price of Webex is in the middle range compared to the market."
"There is a subscription needed to use this solution and we pay approximately $5,000 per year."
"Features matter more than the price for us. As long as we get all the features we want and it fits our budget, then the price doesn't matter. I can't speak for other companies. We have tried other applications, and we run into some problems that we don't see in Webex."
"There is an annual license required for this solution."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"You need to make yearly payments towards the licensing charges of the product. You need to opt for a subscription-based licensing model for your organization. The product is a bit expensive."
"We paid for our Webex license as a bundle."
