I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Has all-inclusive pricing and good talent acquisition and onboarding components, and is an excellent product for mid-sized to large organizations
They could probably add surveying, as in engagement surveys, to their product. That would be something that would be valued by their customers. For instance, Culture Amp is a product that does a lot of the engagement stuff. They're diversifying into other aspects of talent management. It is not yet at the same scale as PageUp People, but it is an excellent product as well.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable features of the solution are the core HR, absence, payroll, and recruitment modules."
"Oracle HCM Cloud is easier to use than Oracle ETS. Everything is included on one page, and we no longer need to do workarounds. For example, creating elements, eligibility profiles, and formulas is much easier."
"HCM Cloud's most valuable feature is its ease of use - it's interlinked, so you can drill down into information."
"I would recommend Oracle HCM Cloud to others."
"All the features are good."
"It's highly stable because the system is totally managed by Oracle, Oracle provides 99.9% availability for the system uptime."
"What I like most about Oracle HCM Cloud is that I didn't see any area that needs to be dramatically improved. I also appreciate that it has good integration with other Oracle products. The process of integrating Oracle HCM Cloud is rather explanatory. I also found the Oracle library to be helpful. As Oracle HCM Cloud is quite a robust solution, I like it versus other solutions. I like the people at Oracle."
"In terms of ERP, it's a good product. It's convenient."
"The talent acquisition and the onboarding components of the system are most valuable."

Cons

"The tool should allow more customization for specific requirements. Some processes could be streamlined, and certain features in specific modules must be added."
"Product integration, particularly with collaboration tools, is lacking in this solution."
"HCM's analytics features could be improved."
"The interface could be more user friendly."
"I believe what could be improved is the EX portion of Oracle HCM Cloud and how it can more easily integrate with other tools."
"The performance and reaction time can be improved."
"In the next release, I would like to see a new recruitments module. I would like to see the preboarding so that it sends out integrations through personal email. That would be very useful."
"We have received some unfavorable feedback regarding Oracle HCM Cloud's performance. This has led us to investigate alternative solutions. In my own experience, I have struggled with the slowness of the cloud assessment and the overwhelming complexity of the software's robust architecture. I have reservations about sharing any positive experiences I may have had with the solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution’s pricing is high."
"It has a licensing cost. It has a cloud-based subscription, which is quite cheap."
"There is a subscription to use this solution, and there can be additional fees."
"The solution is quite expensive for small and medium-sized companies."
"The price of Oracle HCM Cloud could improve. However, everyone would like the price of a solution they are using to be less expensive."
"I am not normally involved in the product's pricing since it normally involves the packages that a user chooses. Pricing differs based on a case-to-case scenario and client-to-client basis."
"I haven't personally dealt with the cost details, but based on client feedback, Oracle HCM Cloud is considered expensive due to additional support costs on top of licensing fees."
"It is definitely super expensive. Oracle is very, very expensive for what they offer."
"PageUp has a different model from other organizations. As part of their pricing structure, they tend to work with you very closely and not charge you for the setup. So, there is one price all inclusive of setup, and for that reason, they become an attractive provider to work with. Here in Australia, the education sector has gravitated very heavily towards PageUp."
