Centralized device management has transformed security and streamlined remote provisioning
One area where Microsoft Intune can improve is the user interface. Sometimes the portal feels a bit complex and not very intuitive, especially for new users, and it can take time to find specific settings. Another point is troubleshooting. While logs are available, the diagnostic policies and sync issues can still be time-consuming and not very straightforward. I also feel that reporting could be more detailed and customizable. The built-in reports are helpful, but for deeper insights, I often need to rely on additional tools. Overall, it is a strong solution, but improving usability and troubleshooting experience would make it even better. While Microsoft Intune works very well within the Microsoft ecosystem, the integration of some third-party tools could be smoother and require less customization. Support is another area that could improve, as sometimes response times can be slow, and resolving complex issues may take longer than expected. In terms of features, I think more advanced automation and built-in remediation options would be helpful since common issues can be fixed automatically without manual intervention.

Streamline enrollment with seamless security and integration while technical support improves
Integration is required first. Samsung Knox needs to be configured initially. Once configured for the first time, the process becomes simplified. For example, in our client's case, they ship Samsung Galaxy devices directly to employees. When the end user receives the device, they simply open the box and attempt to enroll by entering their username and password. No additional steps are required beyond that. There are very few questions asked. Once authentication is completed, the user can proceed without selecting many options. The system directly logs in, and the user receives apps pushed by the console. It is also integrated from the MDM. Certain apps are pushed to employees for their use. This ensures the work profile remains secure.

Mobile security has improved posture and now provides centralized control and secure BYOD spaces
An area I can suggest for improvement in Sophos Mobile is in the area of management; while it has been great so far, integration with more third-party solutions would also be a great improvement. Regarding functionality, I think an area Sophos Mobile can actually improve is by infusing more AI-integrated services and solutions into the product. The setup process for Sophos Mobile is not very cumbersome; to set it up, I just send the setup email link to the user, but the user still has some activities to carry out, and that may be another area of improvement if Sophos can enable the entire configuration possible from the management console without users having to perform activities.

"The main benefit from Sophos Mobile is that it improves security posture, and it also provides fantastic management and control along with web application control capabilities on mobile, features that would usually be on a firewall at the perimeter of the business or the organization, allowing me to restrict access to malicious websites or compromised applications."
"The solution is quite user-friendly."
"Having the policies enforced on the endpoints is what they need to see, this is how the solution has benefited us."

"Intune lags all of its competitors in terms of report generation."
"I would like to see Intune improve its handling of hybrid domain joins. We continue to experience issues with machines losing their hybrid domain join status."
"The reporting and cost have room for improvement."
"I would like more clarity on how Intune is migrating control from Active Directory group policies, especially as we move over to Windows 11. It seems inefficient to manage some settings in Active Directory and others in Intune."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We don't get Intune as a separate module. Most of the time, we use it within an enterprise agreement like E3 or E5. Those licenses are at a good price, but what is annoying is that every single year they go higher."
"Microsoft Intune is pretty reasonable. We have difficulty with Azure, which is probably why we have not put many assets in Azure. Everything we put there is very expensive."
"Its licensing model is not complex, but it is very expensive compared to other solutions. They can bring more models and reduce the pricing. They should allow customers to select the features they want and price it accordingly."
"The price is very reasonable."
"The overall pricing of Microsoft Intune is good for companies that have big IT budgets, 3,000 or more users and devices."
"Intune is included in the Microsoft 365 licensing package that we have."
"I rate Intune five out of 10 for pricing. It's expensive."
"Intune is included with our F3 and E5 licenses."
