Improved user experience with seamless integration and easy installation
The feature that I mostly valued is the ease of installation on different systems, especially on Windows. Additionally, it is very beneficial for deploying single sign-on sessions between different windows on a web browser, provided I am connected to the right identity provider. That seamless integration significantly improves user experience and efficiency.

Utilizing key management and seamless single sign-on integration for enhanced user profile management
WSO2 Identity Server's key management feature stands out as a particularly impactful feature for enhancing security. Additionally, from a user perspective, the self-user portal and user profile management capabilities are highly valuable. It allows users to manage their profiles, change passwords, and offers a self-care portal type of functionality. The single sign-on capability integrates seamlessly with various platforms, including Google, Facebook, LDAP, and Active Directory, which supports rapid product launches.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It provides end users with SSO to our applications – they log in once and they can access all of our applications."
"Ease of use is very good, for administrating it. It's very well known."
"It’s definitely an industry leader in the web access realm."
"It provides a secure interface and single sign-on to a variety of different applications."
"The solution has features that allow you to easily distinguish between protected and unprotected resources."
"Extraordinary product; extraordinary flexibility to explore and meet the requirements of the customer."
"Using this product makes it easier for enterprises to integrate a majority or even all their apps into one single solution for access."
"We needed to implement secure access, CA is a leader in this area, so we went naturally with the best, and we also chose CA because of the way they interact with customers, pitch new features to us, ask us for feedback, and provide us with support."
"The keystore feature has been most valuable for us."
"We use the solution for customer identity management, authenticating customers coming in through a web portal."
"It's very easy to implement everything."
"I am completely satisfied with WSO2 Identity Server and would definitely recommend it to other companies."
"Comprehensive ecosystem."
"I would rate the solution's stability eight or nine out of ten."
"The product's initial setup phase is easy."
"The product provides easy integration between API manager and IT server components."

Cons

"We use technical support. It's not the best feature of CA. Lots of enterprise product companies have variable support offerings. CA are not the worst, but they're not the best. They're okay."
"The documentation is not good enough, particularly the installation documentation could be improved."
"It's not user friendly, but it's very customizable."
"To add more value to this solution it needs to be more user-friendly."
"I'd like to see the federation piece made a little simpler."
"If the reporting feature can be integrated into SSO itself that will be an icing on the cake."
"I think they need to integrate some of the newer types of authentication into the product."
"I think that one drawback to this product is that it's too big."
"I found the initial setup to be very complex."
"There needs to be a good support model and easy-to-understand documentation."
"The solution could improve its development from a user perspective."
"The solution's licensing model could be more flexible, and pricing could be improved."
"The solution seems to be pretty outdated."
"This solution does not have BPM workflows already integrated, we had to integrate the BPM module externally. They do not provide full-featured auditing and certification modules out of the box."
"The price of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The high availability architecture has to be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing is fair for this solution."
"I recommend conducting a PoC on every available product before choose one."
"The solution's pricing is competitive."
"CA solutions are generally expensive but for the customer the ROI is big."
"Siteminder is a little costly. You pay for licensing, and they offer packages, so if you have less users, then you have to buy different products at different prices. If you have more of a user base, then the package is different. They also include other features—for example, if you have a database and you're using Siteminder, then it's good to use a Semantic-specific database, but if you are using less, then you have to purchase the database separately. Whereas if you are going for a bigger license, then it comes within the package. It depends on which plan you are using."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"Symantec Siteminder is expensive; they could definitely do better on the price."
"The price is quite comparable to the other enterprise-level solutions in that market."
"They should bring in some good pricing models to host the marketplace."
"WSO2 Identity Server is not an expensive solution."
"We have to take their support, but that is a minimal charge if I'm comparing it to other identity managers."
"I have found the solutions license is priced competitively compared to others."
"I rate the product price an eight out of ten. There is a need to pay more for the extra features provided by the solution."
"At this time we are working with the open-source version."
