Allows us to connect with, take care of, and nurture possible employees
The video function could be improved. Now that we do a lot of digital interviews, you can actually have your own video function. Still, I would prefer if it were more of a team function where you could change the background, for example. With everyone currently working from home offices due to lockdowns, some of the backgrounds look quite unprofessional. It would be nice if we could have our own unique background — for branding purposes during interviews. When we schedule an interview, in the message function, you can create a placeholder using a name, etc. I would like to have more generic placeholders and for them to be included in the message function when you schedule the interview.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"From my experience, there's no better system currently on the market."
"It's just an easy solution to connect with."
"The fact that I can see the whole HR information in a single point is valuable."
"The employee self-service feature is most valuable. This is the restaurant industry, and they have a mobile app that allows employees to go in and manage their data. So, employees can manage direct deposit accounts, emergency contacts, and other things in the app. That's definitely the biggest benefit."
"It enables us to manage the system ourselves. We don't need an additional team to do a lot of maintenance and add the things that we want."
"Having an integrated HRIS system has saved time and increased efficiency."
"The intuitive interface, reporting capabilities, and the fact that it really offers the full suite of HCM."
"UltiPro has allowed me to provide management with meaningful and informative reporting."
"The solution's UI is good. Also, it is very easy to use."
"We have gone form 1200 employees processing paper reviews to having everything being online and at our finger tips."

Cons

"The video function could be improved. It would be nice if we could have our own unique background — for branding purposes during interviews."
"The video function could be improved."
"Sometimes a system would be down, but it would be quickly resolved."
"Customer service is sometimes frustrating."
"We encountered deployment issues."
"We did encounter scalability issues; some information doesn't transfer to payroll core."
"UKG has complex clock-in and clock-out features. It changes things too often, and it feels like the tool is constantly changing things without testing before implementing changes in production. Additionally, it doesn't communicate these changes very well."
"Having no person on site to help us through integration was a big negative."
"Customer Service: At times it takes days to get a return call. Technical Support: At times it take days to get a return call."
"We have encountered scalability issues. Only 10 clock transactions are allowed to run at once; not the best for installing 300+ global clocks."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We pay a fixed amount that includes support. I think it's a very good deal actually."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
