It helps us to deploy applications in productions within a few days
Pros and Cons
  • "The tool's most valuable feature is encryption. Google Cloud has reduced our operational costs and increased efficiency. For example, deploying production applications traditionally took about a month, but with Google Cloud, it now takes only a day or two. This also extends to monitoring, allowing us to identify and address issues faster than on-premises solutions."
  • "Google Cloud should improve its security. The main challenge we've encountered is related to security. As a member of the security team, I've noticed some limitations in the security features. For example, the rules and signatures need to be more refined to detect and process attacks accurately."

What is most valuable?

Has an easy deployment and offers complementary features
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution is fairly easy to deploy."
  • "My only concern is that a number of the offerings are built on their own proprietary technologies which means means that, with respect to the offerings in Google Cloud, it's difficult to have a path to migrate to other cloud providers."

What is most valuable?

The solution is fairly easy to deploy. There is no need to manage the underlying infrastructure, where all the details of load balancing deployment and version management are managed by the system itself.

Google Cloud offerings have a number of features which complement each other to provide very solid cloud feature sets. Google Cloud makes available many products and a person can build whatever he desires. A solution can always be found for anything one needs.

What needs improvement?

My only concern is that a number of the offerings are built on their own proprietary technologies. This means that, with respect to the offerings in Google Cloud, it's difficult to have a path to migrate to other cloud providers.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Google Cloud for several years, three or four.

What other advice do I have?

We have employed every type of deployment, five of the applications being deployed on private clouds, others - both Google and Microsoft - being publicly deployed. We have a bit of everything.

I limit my rating of Google Cloud to an eight out of ten.
