Automated Device Enrollment with Jamf Pro integrates seamlessly with Apple's DEP program, providing efficient management and deployment of Apple devices globally.
Smart groups and patch management capabilities enable streamlined and efficient management of software updates and policies, contributing to operational efficiency.
Jamf Pro supports integration with various tools and services, such as Active Directory via Jamf Connect, enhancing compatibility and simplifying password synchronization for Macs.

CONS

Jamf Pro could improve its versioning capabilities, such as blocking OS upgrades or enhancing the update feature for all applications.
Patch management requires more automation and efficiency, particularly in dealing with T2 Security Chip-enabled Macs and simplifying the patch policy scoping process.
Jamf Pro needs better integration with non-Apple devices and systems like Active Directory and more comprehensive support for platforms like Windows and Android.
Users express the need for improved reporting tools, including enhanced metrics extraction and data visualization, as well as better integration with platforms like PowerBI and Tableau Reader.
A more flexible and affordable pricing structure, especially the cost of the JumpStart consultation, is suggested to accommodate small organizations more effectively.

Jamf Pro is useful for making Mac devices compliant with organizational security requirements, as organizations can block unwanted features that might lead to data breaches, such as iPhone mirroring and screen sharing, ensuring devices remain compliant and secure.

Jamf Pro has positively impacted my organization by being better for rolling out iPads and Macs; it would be the best in terms of rolling out the updates, apps, and even setting up a device.

Smart groups and just the way MDM works are valuable. We like all the features that they have. We try to use it as much as possible, and then we have the support and community involvement to reach out to.

The action and trigger is the main thing for us. We like the kind of repetitive script which we can use there.

The pricing of Jamf Pro is relatively high. Jamf Pro does not have a fixed price for all organizations. Based on my experience, they offer discounts inconsistently.

The biggest area for improvement is the price and the structure of Jamf's onboarding process, especially the mandatory JumpStart consultation, which can be costly for small organizations.

We would like to have some of the extension attributes configured so that those extension attributes can be part of the core structure. They can make some of the extension attributes the actual attributes. They shouldn't be like add-ons.
