Strong security has become seamless and saves time through automated user access management
Pros and Cons
  • "OneLogin has really saved our IT team efforts and the management of the solution, and we are able to easily deploy or de-provision users or employees in our organization."

What is our primary use case?

Our primary use case for OneLogin is giving every employee secure, simple, seamless access to every application they need while giving IT complete central control over all that access.

We are using OneLogin for multi-factor authentication, making security invisible. One of the things we are most proud of about OneLogin is deployment, how we made strong security fields almost invisible to employees. This is an example of operation, and we are able to seamlessly manage user data and user accounts.

The best thing about OneLogin is that the integration was seamless and we have not faced any kind of challenge. It provides audit and compliance preparation, so we are able to meet our audits by gathering the logs from OneLogin. We are able to easily deploy or provision users in OneLogin.

    What is most valuable?

The best features provided by OneLogin are its usability and the seamless integration with Active Directory, how the multi-factor authentication works, and automated provisioning and de-provisioning of users.

OneLogin is really helpful in our organization and has impacted it positively.

OneLogin has really saved our IT team efforts and the management of the solution, and we are able to easily deploy or de-provision users or employees in our organization. This has resulted in good productivity increase, and due to this our organization is benefiting.

    What needs improvement?

As far as we are using this solution, we do not see any changes required or any improvement needed because it is working very well for our organization. There is no need for change.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    OneLogin is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

OneLogin operates with excellent scalability, as it is reaching compatibility with my organization's growth over time.

How are customer service and support?

Excellent customer support is provided. I have interacted with the support team multiple times and they are very good technically and supportive in any troubleshooting.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Since starting, we have been using this solution only.

We have not gone for any evaluation of other options before choosing OneLogin.

    What was our ROI?

We have seen good return on investment with using OneLogin, as the solution has really reduced IT workload based on its automation features and the easy provisioning or de-provisioning of users. This really helps us to reduce the workload with very good time saving.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Centralized identity workflows have simplified onboarding and secured temporary admin access
    Pros and Cons
    • "I feel that switching to OneLogin is a good move for us in terms of centralized access and identity management, and since we have transitioned to OneLogin, it has greatly reduced our manual work and offloaded much of our IT tasks."
    • "OneLogin can be improved by making the initial setup and configuration process simpler, especially for teams like mine that are new to identity and access management."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is for identity management.

OneLogin helps me manage employees across apps, databases, clouds, and other platforms. For example, when someone joins or changes teams or leaves, access is created, changed, and removed properly. It also helps secure admin root access to accounts.

For a more practical example regarding my main use case, suppose a developer needs temporary admin access to a production server. Instead of giving them a permanent password, OneLogin can help me approve the request, grant them access for a limited time, record the session activity, and remove them afterwards.

A couple of features that I like about OneLogin is firstly the centralized access management that helps manage my users, groups, and permissions from one place instead of handling everything from multiple locations. Secondly, there is automation for onboarding and offboarding that specifically comes in handy when employees join, change teams, or leave. Access can be provisioned or removed with workflows instead of manual IT steps. Lastly, the self-service password reset is beneficial since OneLogin allows us to reset forgotten passwords or unlock accounts ourselves, greatly reducing the help desk workload.

    What is most valuable?

OneLogin has positively impacted my organization by greatly reducing the manual workload for identity management. It has also made onboarding and offboarding feel more structured, faster, and less dependent on manual IT work. Now, new users can get the right access based on their role.

The ability to provide a seamless end-user experience for signing in and authenticating to needed applications is very important because it improves both security and user productivity. Employees can access tools they need through a single consistent login experience instead of remembering multiple passwords or going through different login flows for each application.

    What needs improvement?

OneLogin can be improved by making the initial setup and configuration process simpler, especially for teams like mine that are new to identity and access management. Some workflows and policy integrations felt complex during setup. Better guided onboarding, clear documentation, and more in-product demonstrations would help admins get started faster.

Some points I want to mention regarding needed improvements include a faster and simpler setup for SSO and MFA policies, a better UI for admins, more helpful error messages during integration setups, and stronger reporting and audit dashboards.

The AI capability needs to be easier for admins and teams to use and to make governance and security easier to understand and act on. The output must be reliable and explainable, accessible to both technical and non-technical admins. Since access decisions are sensitive, AI should provide recommendations and risk signals, but final decisions should take place after thorough review.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for over two years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

OneLogin is stable as far as my experience goes.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

From a pricing perspective, OneLogin is really scalable since the pricing depends on the number of users and is per seat. Adding or removing a user is not much of a hassle for us, and there is no one-time fee up front that we have to pay.

How are customer service and support?

We required some help while onboarding to OneLogin, and the customer support was greatly helpful.

I would rate the customer support a nine out of ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

After switching to OneLogin, I noticed a return on investment. Previously, we primarily used a manual centralized identity management approach, which worked for a while. However, as our organization kept growing, managing SSO, MFA, and user provisioning became harder. We needed a more centralized and scalable solution for authentication and access management.

We evaluated several options before choosing OneLogin, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD, and JumpCloud. We chose OneLogin because it offered a strong balance of SSO and MFA, directory integrations, user provisioning, and centralized access management at a practical cost.

    How was the initial setup?

My advice for others looking into using OneLogin is to plan for immediate implementation properly before rollout. It is best to start by identifying the most important applications, user groups, MFA requirements, and directory integrations. A phased rollout works better in our case than trying to move everything at once.

    What was our ROI?

Previously, the process required multiple manual steps and follow-ups with the IT and admin team. With OneLogin, role-based access and approval workflows have made the process more structured, reducing our onboarding time from weeks down to days.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Regarding my experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing, the pricing and licensing are generally based on a per-user subscription model, which makes it easier for us to scale as the organization grows. The cost depends on the plan and number of users. Feature requirements such as SSO, MFA, and advanced directory integrations are all included or mostly add-ons that can be managed easily.

What other advice do I have?

The AI capabilities that OneLogin offers can be useful in identity and governance. It can provide strong value in governance security by detecting risky access and unusual login behavior, finding patterns in data for large organizations. Additionally, it can prioritize access reviews and suggest least privileged improvements. However, AI decisions should be explainable and reviewed by admins, especially for sensitive security actions.

I feel that switching to OneLogin is a good move for us in terms of centralized access and identity management, and since we have transitioned to OneLogin, it has greatly reduced our manual work and offloaded much of our IT tasks. I would rate this product an eight out of ten overall.

Single sign-on has streamlined onboarding and improves secure access with adaptive authentication
    Pros and Cons
    • "OneLogin has had a very positive impact on my organization, especially in terms of security, efficiency, and user satisfaction."
    • "OneLogin is a strong IAM solution, though there are definitely a few areas where it can be improved, such as platform stability and outages, customer support responsiveness, and API customization limitations."

What is our primary use case?

OneLogin provides secure access through single sign-on as its main use case. When a new employee joins our organization, OneLogin automatically creates their account, assigns access to required apps, and allows access from a single portal. Our onboarding and secure access process begins with the HR system providing user information. OneLogin then syncs that user information, and based on their roles, provides access to applications such as email, internal tools, and cloud apps. Beyond onboarding, we use OneLogin in other ways as well.

    What is most valuable?

OneLogin's best features focus on secure access automation and ease of use. Single sign-on stands out most for me, as it makes daily work much easier because users only need to log in once and can access all their applications from a single dashboard.

OneLogin balances security with user convenience, supporting adaptive authentication so security increases only when needed, such as during unusual login locations. OneLogin has had a very positive impact on my organization, especially in terms of security, efficiency, and user satisfaction.

We have seen clear measurable improvements after implementing OneLogin, especially in terms of time saving, reduced support workload, and improved security.

    What needs improvement?

OneLogin is a strong IAM solution, though there are definitely a few areas where it can be improved, such as platform stability and outages, customer support responsiveness, and API customization limitations.

Additional improvements I would like to mention for OneLogin include usability and visibility, specifically in that the UI interface, reporting visibility, and documentation need to be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for around six months.

What other advice do I have?

We primarily use AWS and interact with the SaaS platform, so the underlying infrastructure is managed by the vendor. We do use SmartFactor Authentication to adjust authentication flows in real time.

My impression of the user ID synchronization feature in OneLogin is very positive, as it is reliable and helps keep identities consistent across systems. The integration of phishing-resistant device trust in OneLogin has significantly strengthened our authentication process, ensuring that not just the user but also the device being used is trusted and verified before granting access.

OneLogin provides a very seamless end-user experience for signing in and accessing applications. Users log in once and can access all required applications without repeated logins, with all apps available in a single place which makes handling easy. We have used adaptive login flows with Vigilance AI, and they have been very effective in identifying risky behavior and adjusting authentication dynamically.

    • "OneLogin could improve a bit in loading speed or in the interface so that it is even more intuitive, but overall it works very well."

What is our primary use case?

I mainly use OneLogin to access all my work applications from a single place. For example, I access Outlook through OneLogin. It makes the process easier because I do not have to remember multiple passwords and I can quickly get into everything.

    What is most valuable?

I have been using OneLogin for a few months and I already feel comfortable with the platform. It has been very useful and simple; it greatly facilitates access to all my applications. Overall, it has been a positive experience. It makes everything easier and more secure and saves me a lot of time when working with several applications.

What I value most about OneLogin is the easy access to all applications, the security it offers, and the simple user management. All of that makes working much more comfortable.

I feel OneLogin is very secure because it requires multi-factor authentication and controls who can access each application. It gives me confidence to know that my data and the company's data are protected.

Overall OneLogin seems complete to me; it makes access easier, keeps everything secure, and saves time when working with several applications. I think it is very useful and secure and makes it easier to manage all my applications.

OneLogin has greatly improved efficiency because I can quickly access all the applications without wasting so much time with passwords. I also feel that the security of the information has increased. It has made me more efficient and secure when working with several applications.

Before I had problems remembering passwords or waiting for access, but since I have been using OneLogin, that almost never happens. Everything works quickly and securely.

    What needs improvement?

OneLogin could improve a bit in loading speed or in the interface so that it is even more intuitive, but overall it works very well. One suggestion would be to make the interface a little simpler and faster. The authentication process is fine, but if it were more agile it would be perfect.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

The previous solution was more complicated and less secure. OneLogin is easier and more secure.

    How was the initial setup?

Overall, my experience with OneLogin's pricing and licensing has been clear and reasonable. Implementation was also simple.

    What was our ROI?

I have noticed significant time savings by not having to manage multiple passwords, and access errors are reduced, which also lowers operational costs.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I evaluated some other access management platforms, but none offered the combination of security and ease of use that I have with OneLogin.

MFA access has strengthened security and now streamlines onboarding for diverse user groups
    Pros and Cons
    • "OneLogin has definitely impacted positively and saved time, it has also strengthened security because we mostly use it for MFA, and it also made onboarding easier because you can automatically onboard multiple users."
    • "You should build the documentation a little better and more clearly because it is currently a convoluted mess, but that goes for every One Identity product."

What is our primary use case?

I have been using OneLogin for a year now for its access management capabilities and as an authenticator.

We integrate with customers that want MFA, so we are mostly using OneLogin for it.

For a customer who needed MFA, they wanted to integrate OneLogin as an additional way to authenticate to Safeguard for external employees. We basically integrated OneLogin as an authentication provider to Safeguard. To connect via the Safeguard SPP UI, customers would be redirected to OneLogin.

    What is most valuable?

OneLogin's best features are its MFA capabilities as well as making it easier to access different applications depending on the user.

The user interface of OneLogin is really well done, and you can easily perform other custom integrations.

OneLogin positively impacts our customers because they now have a solution that they can trust, and coming from One Identity, this trust is really strong. They are being impacted positively because there are no bugs and no major issues with OneLogin. It is fast and seamless.

OneLogin has definitely impacted positively and saved time. It has also strengthened security because we mostly use it for MFA, and it also made onboarding easier because you can automatically onboard multiple users. You can seamlessly integrate applications in no time.

OneLogin's ability to provide a seamless end-user experience for signing in and authenticating to needed applications is impressive. It is fast, works well, and does not have any major issues or major flaws. I appreciate that it is fast.

    What needs improvement?

OneLogin can be improved in its custom integrations as an authorization provider.

Documentation for OneLogin can be improved as well.

For the single sign-on feature, some third-party authentication providers that do not fit in a basic template were difficult because you had to look up documentation on both. OneLogin's documentation is not the best, but for the major ones, it was really easy and really fast.

You should build the documentation a little better and more clearly because it is currently a convoluted mess, but that goes for every One Identity product.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for a year now for its access management capabilities and as an authenticator.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

There is no downtime or major issues with OneLogin. It is overall stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

OneLogin is built to scale much like every other One Identity product. We have not faced any major issues trying to scale it for different organizations and a bigger client base.

How are customer service and support?

I interact with OneLogin's support team for our clients, and it was a good experience overall. One Identity support is adequate, but you have to wait a little bit because they are not direct.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used Octa before OneLogin because it was not supported by our other programs.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We did not evaluate other options before choosing OneLogin. The client specifically asked for it because they had a long-standing relationship with One Identity.

What other advice do I have?

General impressions in the company that we are integrating OneLogin with are really positive. Before, they were using another program for MFA, and they were really dissatisfied with it, so the user experience was overall positive. OneLogin saved a lot of time because it is faster.

OneLogin's customer support receives a rating of seven out of ten.

My advice to others looking into using OneLogin is to use it. OneLogin scales really well in smaller and bigger environments, offering different options depending on what you want to do, such as using it as an access management tool or as an authentication method.

I rate OneLogin an overall score of eight.

Single sign-on has improved secure access while admin debugging still needs clearer insights
    Pros and Cons
    • "Together, SSO and MFA provide a strong user experience, reducing the workload on the development team."
    • "The debugging feature is a bit problematic."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is user authentication and single sign-on in the front-end applications.

I integrated OneLogin's login flow so that when a user enters their credentials, OneLogin handles the authentication securely. After a successful login, the user is given a token that my front-end app uses to grant access to protected routes. This token allows for seamless navigation.

Handling custom authentication flows that are not fully covered by OneLogin's default setup is part of my workflow. For example, we sometimes need to tweak the session timeout and the authentication to fit our specific user behavior and security policies.

    What is most valuable?

The single sign-on feature is excellent. Regarding the security policies, the time-saving, and the multi-factor authentication, these are great things. It gives built-in MFA and strong security without extra development efforts on our end.

By allowing users to authenticate once and access repeated logins, single sign-on and MFA have made things easier for me. Logging in on one project, a user could move between different internal tools seamlessly without logging in again and again. For MFA, it improves security by adding an extra verification step. It protects sensitive data without me needing to build this complex feature from scratch. Together, SSO and MFA provide a strong user experience, reducing the workload on the development team.

This takes a lot of time, but now using OneLogin, we have saved a lot of time and have achieved good user satisfaction. It has also improved our productivity as well.

    What needs improvement?

The debugging feature is a bit problematic. Error messaging during authentication failures are not very clear, which makes troubleshooting slower and more difficult. The dashboard experience, particularly the admin dashboard, feels a bit outdated and not very intuitive. It slows down finding specific performance metrics. Sometimes, the login redirects and authentication checks feel a bit slow.

Everything else is great. The mobile experience could also be improved. Improving the mobile login and admin interface could enhance usability for users and admins on both sides.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for four months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

OneLogin is pretty stable. I have not seen it crashing or any downtime since I have been using it for my integration purposes.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

OneLogin has handled growth or changes in my organization smoothly.

What other advice do I have?

For development regarding the deployment part, I cannot really tell you since it is fully managed by the sales team. Many companies are now switching to OneLogin. You can definitely use this product.

I give OneLogin an overall rating of 7.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Unified sign-on has simplified workforce access and now secures passwords across all SaaS tools
    Pros and Cons
    • "The best features of OneLogin by One Identity are its Single Sign-On (SSO) and App Catalog."
    • "OneLogin by One Identity needs to upgrade or enhance areas such as complexity in custom Active Directory AD HR mapping and setter interface refresh."

What is our primary use case?

I am using OneLogin by One Identity for managing our workforce identity, automating user lifecycle management, and enhancing security. My use case is to manage our workforce identity, automate user lifecycle management, and enhance security. We have multiple servers and applications where we are using OneLogin by One Identity SSO configuration, and we use this solution for the SSO.

    What is most valuable?

The best features of OneLogin by One Identity are its Single Sign-On (SSO) and App Catalog. The most useful features for us are SSO and App Catalog. I just have to configure one app in the console and with one click, that application will be available for use. For integration, it has more than 6,000 applications available on that console, making it easy to integrate applications such as M365, Salesforce, Azure, and AWS.

Password vaulting is also a very useful feature for us because it helps to secure passwords. The benefits include improved productivity. OneLogin by One Identity eliminates password fatigue, as employees no longer have to remember different passwords for various SaaS tools.

We have multiple SaaS solutions, and users were having multiple passwords and multiple user IDs. OneLogin by One Identity reduced that to just one click, and the SaaS tool is logged in and ready to use. It is useful that users no longer need to remember or update their passwords, as it is completely managed by OneLogin by One Identity.

    What needs improvement?

OneLogin by One Identity needs to upgrade or enhance areas such as complexity in custom Active Directory AD HR mapping and setter interface refresh. It is a highly reliable enterprise-grade solution that delivers excellent value with just a few areas left for optimization. Those areas include clunky administrative interfaces or UI UX, and advanced directory configuration and reporting limitations.

When looking specifically at OneLogin by One Identity's AI capabilities, the consensus is very strong on security, while governance is effective but relies on broader platform integration to truly shine. First, the security aspect is exceptional and proactive. Second, governance is strong but requires leveraging the broader One Identity fabric. Third, overall, the security aspect of OneLogin by One Identity's AI is seamless and top-tier, balancing robust protection with a frictionless user experience. The governance piece is excellent if you leverage the unified One Identity platform, though managing deep governance policies natively inside the standalone OneLogin by One Identity admin dashboard can feel a bit segmented.

Its accuracy is high, particularly in risk scoring and anomaly detection. The primary output of OneLogin by One Identity's AI is a real-time risk score calculated during login attempts. Its accuracy is highly dependable because it evaluates explicitly measurable data vectors. Additionally, the reliability in automated enforcement is essential because the AI output triggers automated security policies, such as forcing an MFA prompt or blocking access, making operational reliability critical.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin by One Identity for approximately four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    No.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    No.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I only used OneLogin by One Identity for SSO.

What other advice do I have?

Our overall impression of the User Identity Synchronization across directories functionality in OneLogin by One Identity is highly positive, as it has served as one of the strongest foundational elements. My overall review rating for OneLogin by One Identity is eight.

Centralized access management has strengthened authentication and simplified daily user workflows
    Pros and Cons
    • "OneLogin has positively impacted my organization by allowing users to securely access multiple applications with a single sign-on, improving user experience, and reducing password-related issues and support tickets."
    • "I believe support response time and troubleshooting for complex integrations could be improved in some cases for OneLogin."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is managing secure user authentication and single sign-on across multiple business applications and for user provisioning, user control, and multi-factor authentication.

A specific example of how I use OneLogin for those purposes in my day-to-day work includes identity and access management, especially for single sign-on and secure user authentication across multiple applications and services.

I do use the solution's Smart Factor Authentication to adjust authentication flows in real-time depending on the risk score associated with the login attempt, and I assess it as very effective from a security perspective because high-risk or unusual login attempts trigger stronger authentication controls. The balance between security and usability is one of the strongest points of Smart Factor Authentication because it improves protection while minimizing friction for the end user in day-to-day operations.

My impression of the user identity synchronization features in OneLogin is very positive; it works well for synchronizing users across different directories such as Active Directory, LDAP, cloud directories, and HR systems.

The integration of phishing-resistant device trust impacts my authentication processes by reducing the risks of phishing-based attacks, credential theft, and unauthorized access because authentication decisions are based not only on passwords but also on device trust and user behavior.

I have not used the adaptive login flows with Vigilance AI.

When employees change departments or leave the organization, access permissions and accounts are automatically updated or revoked, although I do not use HR-driven identity management.

    What is most valuable?

I would like to add that the multi-factor authentication features in OneLogin help improve account security by adding an extra layer of protection beyond just passwords.

The best features OneLogin offers, in my opinion, include centralized identity and access management, a simple and user-friendly dashboard, secure remote access for users working from different locations, and good reporting and monitoring features for security and compliance.

Out of those features, I find myself relying on multi-factor authentication the most because it helps improve account security by adding an extra layer of protection beyond just passwords, and the centralized dashboard and automation features also help reduce manual work related to user provisioning, password management, and access review.

OneLogin has positively impacted my organization by allowing users to securely access multiple applications with a single sign-on, improving user experience, and reducing password-related issues and support tickets.

From a security perspective, features such as MFA and authentication help reduce the risks of unauthorized access and improve visibility into suspicious login activities, which contributes to measurable drops in password-related support tickets and time saved for our IT team after implementing OneLogin.

    What needs improvement?

I believe support response time and troubleshooting for complex integrations could be improved in some cases for OneLogin.

I have noticed that customization of reports and alerts would make daily operations even smoother for security and IT teams.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for the last one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    OneLogin is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

OneLogin's scalability is quite stable and works well for growing organizations and enterprise environments; in our case, it handles an increasing number of user applications and authentication requests effectively.

How are customer service and support?

    Customer support is good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before implementing OneLogin, we were mainly using traditional Active Directory-based authentication, and we switched to OneLogin to get centralized identity and access management, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication.

    How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for OneLogin has been generally positive. The initial setup required proper planning, especially for integrating Active Directory, and we also saw value from reduced password-related support tickets.

    What about the implementation team?

OneLogin was implemented through the organization's standards licensing and procurement process, and not purchased through the Azure Marketplace.

    What was our ROI?

We have seen a good return on investment after implementing OneLogin, with the biggest improvements being reduced support efforts, faster user management, and stronger security controls.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for OneLogin has been generally positive.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated a few other IAM and SSO solutions such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID before choosing OneLogin.

What other advice do I have?

I would advise organizations considering OneLogin to first understand their application environment, user access requirements, and user provisioning needs, as this helps make the implementation smoother and more effective. I would rate this review as a 9.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Single sign-on has simplified authentication and management for small business use cases
    Pros and Cons
    • "OneLogin is easy to use and manage, which is one of the best features."
    • "There are many downsides. OneLogin is designed for small businesses, not for big enterprises, which is why it has limited features."

What is our primary use case?

I was the super administrator for the test account regarding OneLogin use cases. I set up an organization, established some departments, and assigned policies to each department to check OneLogin's capability.

    What is most valuable?

OneLogin is easy to use and manage, which is one of the best features.

It offers Single Sign-On, and OneLogin authentication application works with Single Sign-On and multifactor authentication both activated.

It is very easy to integrate with third-party authentication providers through the Single Sign-On feature. There are a few steps to follow, and OneLogin has shared documentation on the process. You have to visit the application directory, click on a new application, set up its logo and metadata, authentication, encrypted codes, and then the application starts authenticating and Single Sign-On starts working.

    What needs improvement?

There are many downsides. OneLogin is designed for small businesses, not for big enterprises, which is why it has limited features. It does not have those features that enterprises request or would like to have from OneLogin. It is not that scalable because it is intended for smaller businesses. It does not have the functionality to add multiple enterprise-level applications. Although OneLogin has many applications available, I cannot add multiple enterprise-level applications and advanced features to OneLogin setup screen.

I used OneLogin authentication to adjust authentication flows in real-time depending on the risk score to set up the IPOU. It was very simple, but it lacked enterprise-level features like push notification, which makes authentication very easy and seamless. It has only basic features, such as code running, and I have to look at the code and authenticate.

This is also a concern for end-users. Every time they have to sign in, they will need to open their smartphone, open OneLogin authentication application, copy the code, and enter it into the laptop screen to authenticate.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for around three and a half to four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

During the trial period, which was for thirty days, I never faced any downtime. OneLogin was up and running every time I tried to log in and use the application in the web portal.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

There are many downsides. OneLogin is designed for small businesses, not for big enterprises, which is why it has limited features. It does not have those features that enterprises request or would like to have from OneLogin. It is not that scalable because it is intended for smaller businesses. It does not have the functionality to add multiple enterprise-level applications. Although OneLogin has many applications available, I cannot add multiple enterprise-level applications and advanced features to OneLogin setup screen.

How are customer service and support?

I did not feel the need to contact technical support. Everything was straightforward. Everything went well, and I never felt a need to contact them.

    How was the initial setup?

    OneLogin initial deployment was straightforward.

It did not take long to set up OneLogin, but if you have a set of policies to implement, it obviously takes time to set up organizational units, integrate directories, and set up all policies per department. It takes time on every application you set up in your organization, but it was not difficult and did not take much of my time.

    What about the implementation team?

Since that was a test environment, I was the only one to set up OneLogin administration. I could have allowed some other users as administrators to help me out, but I was the only one who set it up and everything went smoothly.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have used many alternatives in the market, and the best one is Okta.

Okta is a huge enterprise-level application. It provides Single Sign-On, provides integration with enterprise-level applications, and also those applications which do not have Single Sign-On capabilities using web authentication system. So it has much more than OneLogin.

What other advice do I have?

If I am looking for a solution for small or mid-businesses on a scale of one to ten, I would rate OneLogin seven and a half to eight and a half. My overall rating for this product is eight.

Unified login has simplified daily access and has strengthened secure authentication workflows
    Pros and Cons
    • "OneLogin has definitely saved a lot of time since we do not have to deal with multiple logins anymore."
    • "Sometimes there is a slight delay in getting the code, but overall it is smooth and reliable."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for OneLogin is managing all my logins in one place securely. It has really helped me with single sign-on, so I do not have to remember multiple passwords.

For example, earlier I had to switch between multiple tools such as email, dashboard, and internal apps. With SSO, I just log in once and get access to everything instantly, which saves a lot of time and avoids repeated logins.

Apart from SSO, I also use OneLogin for secure access management and keeping all credentials organized in one place. It just makes things smoother and more secure without much effort on my end.

    What is most valuable?

The best features OneLogin offers are single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. SSO makes access super easy and MFA adds that extra security layer so everything stays safe without feeling complicated.

The multi-factor authentication is pretty easy to use and does not take too much time. Sometimes there is a slight delay in getting the code, but overall it is smooth and reliable.

I really appreciate how OneLogin handles secure access management. It gives good control over who can access what without being complicated. The credential organization is clean, so it is easy to find and manage all logins in one place.

OneLogin has definitely saved a lot of time since we do not have to deal with multiple logins anymore. Security has improved a lot, and overall the workflows feel smoother and more efficient now.

    What needs improvement?

I think the UI could be a bit more user-friendly and modern, especially for new users. Also, faster OTP delivery and a smoother mobile experience would make OneLogin even better overall.

Better integration with more third-party tools would be helpful so OneLogin can work more seamlessly. Improved reporting for access logs would make it easier to review usage and security insights.

One small thing would be better performance during peak login times because sometimes it feels slightly slower. Other than that, most of the core features already work well for my use case.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using OneLogin for around a year now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

OneLogin is generally considered stable and reliable for most organizations and for us, it is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

OneLogin scales very well in enterprise environments, especially because it is built on a cloud-based multi-tenant architecture designed for horizontal scaling. It can handle growing users and login traffic by adding more resources instead of needing a full system redesign.

How are customer service and support?

Based on my feedback and my colleague's feedback, I would rate OneLogin customer support around seven out of ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before OneLogin, we were using more basic single sign-on and directory-based systems. We switched mainly because it did not have strong adaptive security and was more difficult to manage at scale.

    How was the initial setup?

From what I have seen and experienced, the setup and licensing feel fairly straightforward and not too heavy compared to other enterprise tools.

    What about the implementation team?

OneLogin is deployed as a cloud-based solution in our organization. We mainly access it over the internet, so there is no on-premises setup involved.

    What was our ROI?

I am not in a role where I can measure the exact ROI numbers for Smart Factor Authentication, but from what I observed, it definitely improves both security and efficiency.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before finalizing OneLogin, we did evaluate a few other identity platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Ping Identity. In the end, OneLogin stood out mainly because it was simpler to deploy and easier for our team management compared to others.

What other advice do I have?

A good way to look at OneLogin is through time savings, IT workload reductions, and security impact rather than just direct financial numbers. I would rate this review as an eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
