We are conducting all our project management using Atlassian tools. We use Atlassian Confluence for task management, reporting, visualization of tasks, and reviewing the progress of tickets and work I use Atlassian Confluence for task management and other project management tasks, such as…

I've not really noticed anything that needs to be improved with the solution. Generally, I enjoyed everything. Every feature LiveAgent has was a seamless journey for me. Maybe there are others who might notice one or two flaws on LiveAgent. I use LiveAgent, but based on my position in the company as a live chat professional, there is a level that I am restricted to. There are other products that are more popular and effective than LiveAgent, like Zendesk and HubSpot. They are among the most popular live chat products, and they have more users. I will advise that LiveAgent should look at what these other people are doing and use it to improve themselves. LiveAgent should add more functionalities.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We value the way we can tag documentation to Jira because we can cross-reference a Jira ticket to a Confluence page, and we can also add a Confluence page to a Jira ticket."
"The best feature is document management."
"I think that it is one of the best products on the market from my experience."
"Confluence is very easy to use and feature-packed."
"Collaboration is most valuable. You can upload or create your documents on Confluence and share them with your team members. Your team members also can share documents."
"Confluence is a good product and I recommend it."
"The most valuable integration feature between JIRA and Confluence was being able to easily link Jira tickets to Confluence pages and vice-versa."
"Confluence can link any ticket or task from JIRA to be included on the Confluence page."
"Provides service level optimization."
"I like that this solution provides the history and control over every process connected to a building so we can see everything that's happened since we started using this solution."
"My experience with LiveAgent so far has been a seamless one."
"The most valuable feature was how the solution helped us to prioritize tasks."

Cons

"The UX is a little bit all over the place."
"Some macros can be technical, and they are better managed on the Confluence cloud rather than on-premises. For example, when you add an image on the cloud, you can resize it just by using the mouse. This is not the case on-premises yet. You have to write pixels of the size of the image sometimes. Some of the very old macros are still there, and some of them are technical. It can be hard for users if they are not from an IT background to understand how to use them quickly."
"Concerning the integration capabilities of Atlassian Confluence with Jira, I find it surprisingly simple, meaning it does not really have powerful features in it, but it is easy to set up."
"We let some data fields get out of control as well as some product submissions, so some type of mass maintenance capability to easily reset or restart the system without losing all configuration options would be helpful."
"When editing a page with many iterations, it takes time to scroll down to the last iteration."
"The search function is not great."
"I've always found search to be buggy."
"The product should have a workflow with approvals out-of-the-box."
"Connection to other softwares could be improved."
"I'd like to see an improved API to the system, rather than other softwares having to trigger everything."
"There are other products that are more popular and effective than LiveAgent, like Zendesk and HubSpot."
"There are other products that are more popular."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This is a very expensive solution."
"There is a license needed to use Atlassian Confluence."
"To my knowledge, Atlassian Confluence had a pricing approach which is a commercial open-source solution, so that if you are a company, you had to pay an amount. This fee was not huge compared to other traditional solutions, and it was free for personal use or if you were an individual."
"Maybe we're only using 10% of it, but we have to pay for everything."
"The price of the on-premises data center version is too expensive."
"Confluence charges an extra fee for analytics."
"For us, it's free to use. We don't pay any licensing."
"When you purchase this solution you get some support."
