Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.

I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like the fact that the annual days are calculated automatically and that if annual leave is taken in the future, those days are put on hold. You know at every point how many days of annual leave are you left with and how many are on hold."
"BambooHR has streamlined our new hire process by setting deadlines for the new hire and the hiring manager, and the new hire gets introduced to the whole staff before they start."
"The tool's most valuable features are the recruitment module, performance module, and document storage."
"We can easily store all the information about an employee in one place and it is easy to change and update it."
"Customer support has been one of the stand-out aspects of using BambooHR, with answers always within the same day and as helpful and friendly as possible."
"It provides one place to document all employee information; no Excel tables are needed anymore."
"The time-off tracking tool has made vacation policies simple."
"We previously used People HR, but it was not user-friendly, very slow, and we had a lot of issues, and BambooHR is a very good program and user-friendly."
"We have 35,000 employees in our organization, so we consider the solution to be scalable."
"The initial setup or implementation process of the solution is fine. The deployment process took place in two days. So, once one has the runbook and everything in place, it is not that difficult."
"This solution is user friendly and can be used on a mobile phone without a computer."
"The most important function is definitely managing the employee and employer staff system. This module allows the company to see information about its own employees. It's crucial for our organization, along with talent management."
"In general, functionality is fine."
"It has completely changed the way we work, because it automated the majority of our HR processes."
"Oracle HCM Cloud's most valuable feature is that it is user-friendly."
"The product's most valuable feature is the centralization of data."

Cons

"I would like to see some improvements with custom reports and Signature templates."
"As an international company, there are several administrators in different countries making changes to the system and there is no way of knowing who has made a change, which can be frustrating."
"Training: To allocate a new training course, you can only add it to a job title, and not to individuals. This is not very useful to us."
"They are deliberately not the most sophisticated version of anything that they do, but it is like 80/20."
"There can be stability issues. It is not a good system for more than 100 employees."
"The color palettes could be changed to make the solution a little more attractive and easier to use."
"There are some areas of reporting that could be improved, as well as features and functions of the ATS/recruitment, as this is a newer function in general."
"BambooHR could be improved by managing leave in a way that transfers remaining days at the end of the annual year to the following year."
"The absence management can use some improvement. Due to all the flexible working, the part with work schedules could be a little bit more flexible."
"The compensation module needs further automation."
"Learning Management on cloud is relatively new and has scope for improvement."
"It is a cloud solution, so we cannot do much customization. However, if you have a past license, you can do the customization, but unfortunately, we don't have a past license. If we had that, we would have been 100% happy."
"I believe what could be improved is the EX portion of Oracle HCM Cloud and how it can more easily integrate with other tools."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"Oracle needs to make some sort of support repository that is up to date."
