Intuitive toolset engages users effectively in agile projects

I would recommend Bizagi depending on the maturity of the organization. For those just starting, it's a good tool to get into business modeling. In more mature environments, I might not pick this toolset because it doesn't integrate with live systems well. Overall, I would rate Bizagi between eight to nine.

Has faced challenges adapting to evolving capture methods and competitive integrations

It's difficult to say what I'd improve in Tungsten TotalAgility because we haven't been actively marketing that particular product in the last probably six to nine months. The speed of product development means that my experience with it is likely out of date in terms of the product suite capabilities. The difficulty with customers nowadays is that they are subject to the winds of change in terms of the adoption of cloud technologies and the offerings those cloud technologies bring. Microsoft, for instance, is rapidly filling in the spaces between various product areas that other vendors typically owned. That makes it difficult for customers to settle on their functional requirements because the offers are competing in the same space. I look for more integration with mainstream subscription based platforms, more security integration, and possibly some more lifecycle management features. However, the difficulty with that is the competition with existing options that people have in their subscription library.

It's very detailed, and you can probably map any of the corporate workflow processes you come across in it compared to some of the other solutions out there. I can probably say that it has very good support to work in tandem with other RP solutions in the market. The software is still very user-friendly and integral, and they have pretty good online resources. The automation feature is pretty good, so is the integration feature."

"One of the features I like is that when drawing any task, when putting a task on the process model canvas, I can simply click on it and see the other task icons for that task. It's just one quick, simple, straightforward connectivity from task to task."

"I very much like the reusable rules and forms, and the way Bizagi controls the process flow. I also like the document generating system to generate PDFs and then .doc files with information gathered from a flow. At the end of a process, you can generate a document that can be printed."

For example, when you have to explain a process to seven or eight stakeholders who think differently as well as have different experiences in different functional departments, it is not easy. Sometimes you are using a lot of technical terms, and other times, you are dealing with management terminology. The visual representation helps you create a better alignment and understanding for different roles and stakeholders of your workforce."

"If they add a few more capabilities like AIML and DocGen AI, these features would be good."

"Its performance needs to be improved. The main thing is that it is limited, especially in terms of the response times. When the processes become a bit large, it is very awkward to work with the Bizagi modeler. When you have already modeled but start to rearrange, it is quite a bit of an effort to change the stuff. When you rearrange lanes or have new structures, it goes rather squiggly up and down and so on, which could be improved. The visual outputs of the DIREPs of the process models are pixelated and have a bad image quality. It is a PNG or JPEG, and you cannot export it as a PDF. When you have rather large processes, you should be able to arrange them hierarchically. Currently, it is not supported. If you use sub-processes and inflate a process, suddenly the arrangement is totally different, and although you know the process, you have to look where is it now. You need a good understanding of the levels of your processes before you start in Bizagi. It can have automatic support for optimal presentation. In BPM, you should have it from the top left to the bottom right. However, in most cases, people don't know how they should arrange it. Therefore, it would be nice to have a suggestion system for different arrangements to be able to better present the process."

"The product used to have a simulation feature, which I had used quite often. However, it's since been discontinued. It might have originally been a paid feature. It would be nice if they could bring it back and offer it for free."

"There is no direct scalability option. We can install the same, and using a load balancer, we can improve the scalability features."
