Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Solution elevates team collaboration and manages remote support efficiently
For me as a user in the service desk, there is already a lot of functionality in the product. I don't have any specific ideas for improvement on that side. Some technical aspects could be improved, particularly in product management. For the end user, enhancements do not seem necessary at the moment. They could probably give the technician client a more modern interface, but the crucial factor is stable connectivity in a remote session. I see more potential for improvement on the administration side, like better transparency when a patch is installed. It would be useful for administrators to see the version and patch levels of the product easily. BeyondTrust could also enhance their quality control process before releasing a new build to ensure no new bugs are present. This is a common issue among software manufacturers.

Remote support has improved productivity and saves onsite visits through fast issue resolution
TeamViewer Business provides a fast and secure connection along with a reliable chat feature for a smooth support section. I also appreciate the monitoring and asset management capability, which enhances the remote access experience for my team and me. TeamViewer Business provides seamless communication capability, which includes a variety of options such as chat, call, and video that enhance interaction with our remote clients. TeamViewer Business has been really helpful in my organization, where we are able to troubleshoot any issue our clients have and resolve it as quickly as possible. It enables me to fix the problem faster. If a customer's screen is not working or a glitch happens, I can simply share their screen into my screen through TeamViewer Business and rectify the issue rather than asking them to describe the problem via email. This saves a lot of time and is helpful for our customers who are buying our products. The best features TeamViewer Business offers include seamless communication, efficient remote access, and fast and secure connection.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Conditional access helps me control uncontrolled access."
"Windows Autopatch is the most valuable because it removes the burden of patch management."
"One of the biggest advantages of Microsoft Intune is that it brings the management of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and even Linux under a single pane of glass."
"Microsoft Intune has transformed my organization; we are managing to scale the Intune deployment across all our regions efficiently, and it works perfectly for our needs."
"Microsoft Tech Support is good, providing solid support."
"Its price is reasonable. It is a part of our M365 suite."
"I like the tool's integration with Apple. Anyone who creates an ID in Intune will get an Apple ID."
"If any user tries to access company data, it directly interacts with the conditional access policy. This helps us protect our data and set the criteria for how data can be accessed and shared."
"This product has drastically improved the speed and ease at which we provide client support from our Solutions Centre (service desk)."
"It has allowed us to quickly address the needs and issues of our end users."
"We rarely need support for anything, but when we do, they are on it and always helpful."
"Remote Support 16.2 introduced Web Interface for Representative Console.with same functions as Desktop Console."
"We have not encountered any issues with stability. Updates leave us with less than 30 minutes of downtime."
"The remote reboot feature is particularly valuable for rebooting terminal servers that have power controls disabled."
"Remote sessions are automatically recorded so there is a history of all coding and scripting."
"I personally like the ability to share files with other machines."
"We also use it a lot for remote site assistance. We've set up our internal authentication for unattended access to our remote sites. That makes it very easy and convenient to remotely connect with our users and our client machines whenever we need to. It's set as a direct, secure connection. As long as the station has internet access, we can see it and it makes remote support very simple."
"The most valuable features of TeamViewer are the ease of connecting to remote computers. I do not need a lot of information about their computers to connect, a nontechnical person can give me the information needed for me to connect. Additionally, the solution does not gather other system information about the host or client's systems as other solutions might, such as AnyDesk."
"The pilot feature is what stands out the most. I love the ability to use the pilot feature for remote inspections. The augmented portion of the software comes in handy when I have to assist my inspectors. They use the app in the field, and they show me what they're seeing through their phones."
"It is fairly feature-rich and stable."
"The most valuable features of TeamViewer are the high performance and it is not complicated to use, neither for me nor for the one I'm helping."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is the ability to remote into another device."
"It's very easy to set up."
"The solution is a very good tool for monitoring and for remote access. Anyone is able to use it, it is simple to use."

Cons

"Microsoft needs to enhance device-level security, as sometimes when using Microsoft Intune, the device's operating system becomes stuck and requires a full uninstall to remove the Intune bug."
"The solution's app deployment needs to be improved."
"We do not utilize Microsoft customer service and technical support since it is generally a waste of time."
"The Mac integration has room for improvement."
"In future releases, I would like to see better integration with Apple products."
"Intune doesn't provide much control over Windows servers. It's something we struggle with."
"Integrating certain group policies can be challenging and may necessitate using on-premises systems to integrate them with Microsoft Intune."
"I rate Microsoft support between six to eight. The support often involves third parties hired by Microsoft who are knowledgeable, but sometimes the help I receive is not adequate."
"In the next release, I would like remote access to Chrome included."
"There were a few employee devices that failed during the initial deployment, which required a second deployment."
"There are not enough product partners in Turkey, making it difficult for me to get assistance."
"Although the learning curve is steep, the product is well-documented."
"We sometimes have trouble accessing servers because of credentialing and multifactor authentication issues with PAM."
"It lacks voice integration like the other products because they need the compression to support that large amount of concurrent sessions. We've had to sacrifice voice."
"The Remote support solution based on Bomgar has physical appliances deployed and leveraged to serve our multiple customers. Aging appliances are going RMA now and then."
"It is expensive. Its initial setup was also a little bit involved, but it was nothing that we couldn't eventually handle. Currently, it has the ability to share screens. Somebody having an issue with their phone can share their screen with a technician sitting at a computer. It would be nice to also be able to control phones remotely, but this could be a limitation of a phone's operating system."
"Voice communication and screen communication or face-to-face communication could be improved."
"It should have ability to display notes in the computer list."
"In the next release, I would prefer to have a voice integration and collaboration feature to support multiple teams simultaneously."
"We'd like to be able to work from mobile to desktop and vice versa. We'd like more mobility."
"Sometimes it lags."
"TeamViewer could improve by adding support for other operating systems, such as Linux and CAKE."
"If you had to teach someone how TeamViewer Business works, especially because I am speaking in a sense that I am using it on an engineer level, it would be a bit difficult to get accustomed to some of the settings, especially with the new experience."
"TeamViewer is expensive, and you get a limited number of connections for your money."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing can be improved."
"Microsoft Intune's costliness stems from licensing fees and the overhead associated with its management, user experience, and device remediation."
"It is not a cheap solution. The price for a device when you start using it at a large scale can be improved. It is covered under our enterprise agreement. We pay once a year. I am not aware of any additional costs."
"It's a bit expensive from a licensing perspective, especially as we look to have organizations with tenants across the globe."
"Any bundle package, such as Security E3, covers multiple things, such as AAP, BitLocker, etc. If you go for them individually, they would be more expensive. Bundling makes the price more attractive and competitive."
"I liked the tool's pricing until P2 came into effect. I am unsure about the current value versus the cost of the new licensing model."
"We are partners, so we receive some discount. However, from the customer's perspective, Microsoft Intune's pricing is competitive with non-Microsoft technology, and the price is good compared to other market competitors."
"My team members bundled it together with their Microsoft solutions, including Microsoft 365 and related products."
"Their pricing is a little bit high but it's negotiable depending on the type of client. It is approximately R6,000 per year for a user. I would rate the pricing a four out of five."
"For a smaller customer, the cloud solution costs around $2300 per user per year."
"This product provides value for money."
"The setup is complex. Purchase the remote implementation service and make them slow down and work with you."
"The product maintenance and licensing costs are on the higher end, so I would carefully review how many licenses you need. The concurrent license model is helpful in this manner."
"I would prefer that it was more affordable."
"We believe for the money, it is worth what you pay."
"It is pretty pricey. It is not cheap. The licensing structure is not cheap. The tool is not cheap, but in the long run, it is well worth it. It is probably one of the best on the market because it is just so easy to use and easy to deploy. It gave us the ability to see what everybody was doing. It held people accountable. It gave us the accountability that we needed."
"...it will cost you $1,500 to $1,600 a year, but when I think of how much work I do through TeamViewer..."
"TeamViewer was willing to give us a one-year package. Whereas, a lot of the other companies that we explored were paid by the month or quarter. It's just easier for our finance people at the college if we can make a one-time yearly payment."
"We have an annual subscription that is just under $1,900 with no additional costs. We get these promotions about upgrades and stuff like that, but we haven't had a need to add more seats. Users can also use TeamViewer for home use with a non-commercial free license."
"TeamViewer has multiple licensing options."
"I used the free version of TeamViewer."
"We're using the free version. We do not pay any licensing fees."
"The solution has a pilot feature that is expensive. The overall price of the solution can be cheaper."
"The cost of the licenses depends on how you buy them. They just had a buy one get one free deal going, and they do that every once in a while. Where you buy one license, and they will give you the second one free, or you can try to get discounts. Most of our licenses that we have we tried to do something like that just to save some money."
