The solution has good features like security antivirus and the ability to use other applications on one dashboard
Comodo RMM is really, really slow to load, and connecting with most of my clients takes a while. You have to get back to your office before you have to be able to work effectively, which is a drawback for me. Comodo RMM doesn't have a cloud environment, and I have to install it on-premises. I have to come back to my premises or location to log in. If I am somewhere else dealing with a client, and one of my previous clients tells me they are having issues with one of the PCs or servers, I cannot do anything from where I am. I have to get back to my office to be able to log in.

Has good stability and an easy initial setup process
We use the solution for remote access control and endpoint protection features The solution has the best remote access control and protection features. They should provide intermediate device limit options. It would be helpful for users who require more remote control capabilities than the lower…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable features of Comodo RMM are the security antivirus and the ability to use other applications like the PSA and the ticketing system on one dashboard."
"We like the auto containment feature."
"The management feature is very good. You get a complete and clear view of the employment tool on Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems (even on mobile). Third-party integration is also possible (e.g., IBM, Apple, etc.)."
"Remote access is really the biggest one, because in order to be able to support my clients from wherever I am, that is the biggest feature."
"This solution has allowed granular permission access to machines, very consistent and solid most of the time."
"It saves us drive time, we don't have to go to clients. We can just use remote access."
"It is convenient for my workers to be at home, therefore, it is easier for them as their second job to do the work, that is a plus, and I improve productivity."
"I like being able to dial in and transfer files for updates."
"The initial setup was pretty straightforward."
"It allows you to transfer along with many other functions."
"The biggest improvement is being able to solve problems or do upgrades of software without having to go onsite."

Cons

"Comodo RMM is really, really slow to load, and connecting with most of my clients takes a while."
"They should integrate email security in the same solution."
"The solution needs further integration with other software tools like a CRM and other accounting tools. Not having this integration makes Comodo RMM limited in functionality. Additionally, more network management features would be good to have in the next release."
"The client could have a bit more functionality, as some changes can only be made through the web interface."
"We are an educational institution, so anything to make it cheaper would be better because we don’t grow money on trees."
"LogMeIn Rescue could be made a lot easier where you could just tell the person where to go and log in, and they could just log in. Or even make it simpler where you could just send a file to a person and they would click on it; just something easier. The way they have it right now, it's not easy."
"Sometimes it just fails to load."
"They should provide intermediate device limit options for the users."
"It is easy to get locked out, which is something that needs to be improved."
"The update issues are an absolute pain. It says it is updating things, but the updates do not go through, and you try your hardest to get the updates to go through and they don't. You go to the PC, but there is no update there, then you go back and it says there are updates."
"The file transfer could be better. They could make it a lot easier to deal with. LogMeIn Central is not that intuitive. It's a lot harder to figure out."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Having to spend so much money on remote access is what I feel to be a necessary evil."
"The only thing I found is that they've gotten very, very expensive over the years. I started out with about about 100 users on it. Two years ago it was about $600 for 100 users. Now, it's that price for 25 users."
"We are an educational institution, so anything to make it cheaper would be better because we don’t grow money on trees."
"The solution's price is reasonable."
"It sucks that I am paying for LogMeIn Central, LogMeIn Pro, and LogMeIn Rescue, plus LogMeIn Ignition, which is the mobile app. It costs me a lot of money every month at LogMeIn. "
"We went with it for pricing reasons, that it was the biggest bang for our buck, by combining the ability to have a central security console, as well as a central point for user administration."
"It really is an expensive product for me."
"The price needs improvement. It is ridiculously expensive now, and no features have really changed."
