Great user interface and easy to implement
I like the corporate looking user interface for the audience and very straight forward log-in process too. The user interface of other solutions such as GoToWebinar can be confusing for a less tech-savvy audience. IBM has thoroughly thought through everything and the flexibility to integrate the API to expand the registration gateway allows us to have an extra layer of security. Furthermore, the brand IBM is reputable in the market for its data and network security.

Virtual training has supported collaborative learning and now needs a simpler and clearer interface
Webex can be simplified in terms of user interface, where many features should be displayed in a compact view, with similar features grouped together and a minimalistic design helping users understand what each button does. If specific features are not needed, they should not distract you, and some features should appear as sliding elements for ease of access. Additionally, connecting to Webex can be technical, and it would be beneficial to have a way to connect anonymously using a simple code instead of going through microphone issues.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"IBM as a brand has helped us to get through any hurdle with the client's IT and legal queries, helped us to speed up the security vetting process."
"I like the user interface. There aren't too many buttons that the audience will have to fiddle with."
"Webex is very good for webinars and presentations."
"One of the most valuable features of Webex was that it was easy to use and there were no hassles."
"The stability, as well as the performance of the solution, are very good."
"WebEx Integration to Outlook helps our users to schedule audio conference meetings with a push of a button."
"The most noteworthy aspect of Webex is its quality, which I found satisfactory without any notable issues."
"I like Webex because it is easy to work with."
"The tool alerts us when there are issues with our Kubernetes environment, such as excessive container usage. This allows our operations team to quickly identify and address these issues, reducing the time it takes to resolve them."
"The solution combines its hardware and camera features to give it a superior edge over all others, with the camera moving in pace with the person who is communicating with other participants."

Cons

"They should improve the registration gateway. Currently, you can't do a pre-event registration that's straightforward. You have to do an API to integrate. It would be a lot easier if they had that."
"There are too many issues with getting people connected to meetings. Reliability and consistency need improvement."
"To co-facilitate and have all the features, e.g., mute or unmute learners, assign permissions, etc. seems to be difficult."
"Before Webex was the worst meeting platform I used."
"The initial setup was a little bit complex."
"The product's price could be better."
"The licensing model doesn't work because if I want to implement it for an organization, I need to pay a per-user license, which makes it very restrictive."
"They should work to make it simpler."
"I think Webex could be improved by simplifying the process. For instance, they could make it easier to join meetings by providing a direct meeting link without requiring sign-ups or logins. While security is important, finding a balance with user-friendliness is key."
