Workflow-driven processes enhance sales efficiency and analytical insights
Oracle CX Sales is workflow-driven, aligning with best practices in our sales process. The efficient workflow eliminates the need for multiple entries; data flows seamlessly from sales accounts to projects to quotes. The solution also offers robust analytical capabilities, enabling us to analyze reasons for wins or losses and strategically adjust our approach.

Recently, the price of SAP CRM has increased, which is one concern. Another issue is that sometimes we experience slow performance. Reports in SAP CRM itself can become very slow. Other than that, it is a very good CRM system. I am happy with SAP CRM because whenever we have requirements for changes or customization as per our needs, we get them, and the downtime is minimal. We are getting very good support from the incident team and the in-house support team who are responsible for customization. Some customer centers have moved to Salesforce, but I don't have any experience with Salesforce to make a comparison.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CX Sales is very intuitive - you just have to click a few buttons, and you see everything."
"It is stable and scalable, and their support has been very responsive."
"Oracle CX Sales is workflow-driven, aligning with best practices in our sales process."
"The solution integrates well."
"The best practice business processes of PROMATIS helped us to implement an integrated process orientiented system."
"The analytics features in Oracle CX Sales are good."
"Account management is a very good feature. It is conceptualized very well, and we can look at all the projects under one account. The data for those accounts remain there throughout."
"We've implemented Oracle Sales Cloud there and now they are using the application composers and groovy scripting within the tool’s capability to deliver an inbuilt quoting metric, which allows their sales team to alter estimates, update sales cycles, delivery costs, and monitor margin through a system."
"When we are using SAP CRM we receive more accurate results than using any other CRM system."
"The most valuable feature is real-time data. You don't have to go to the finance team for information. On one screen, you can see if stock is available and check the customer's outstanding balance, and then you can process the order. SAP CRM's integration with other applications is easier."
"The initial setup of SAP CRM was simple."
"What I found most valuable in SAP CRM is its multitenancy, and you can use it from your website, SMS, and even social media, and it's all integrated, so my company is trying to leverage on all of those."
"SAP CRM has improved our sales activities by providing accurate information about the customers which assists the sales team to close deals."
"The platform is highly scalable."
"SAP is very easy to use."
"The most important factor for recommending SAP CRM is its integration with the core SAP platform. Globally, most enterprises are using SAP as an ERP platform to manage their key business functions. SAP CRM has out-of-the-box integration with the core SAP platform. You can integrate your pre-sales and post-sales into the single platform on the SAP CRM very easily, and you can extend that CRM to your customers who can actually see what is happening to their orders—such as whether it is dispatched or not dispatched or at what stage it is—simply by logging onto the CRM platform."

Cons

"The data import process has grown a little since earlier releases. In the recent releases (8 and above), this process has improved but not much."
"They should have a mobile app because the sales folks travel a lot. Rather than logging into an application on the desktop, a mobile application update should be easier for them."
"The interface of Oracle CX Sales could be more user-friendly."
"They've been lacking in creating customization from scratch and in sales."
"The performance is bad."
"Support is very poor."
"They could provide more integrated AI features as part of the platform rather than as a separate offering."
"You can get disconnected if you do not have a strong, reliable internet connection."
"The navigation must be improved."
"The product is very expensive."
"When features do get added, we would like the product to notify us in a timely way."
"They could improve the product's analytics and reporting capabilities. Additionally, they could enhance its web interface speed."
"They have recently updated their user interface but they should continue to improve upon it in the future. Additionally, overall performance or speed of response times could be better."
"Content management is one area where SAP CRM could use some work because we were seeking a CRM solution that could store BLOB data, like PDF and email data, which takes up a lot of space in the database. Recently, we migrated to a content server, but it would be nice if CRM had built-in BLOB data management because BLOB data is a challenge we've been dealing with since last year."
"They should improve the design to make it more appealing to users."
"There is a lot of missing data and data latency issues between the different modules of SAP CRM, which creates a lot of problems."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is pricey."
"The product pricing is reasonable compared to other solutions in the market."
"The price is reasonable."
"It's expensive, but worth the money."
"The solution is reasonably priced compared to other tools."
"Pricing is based on licensing. They offer three different levels: basic, advanced, and enterprise. While I haven't checked the pricing recently, they often provide good discounts on the product."
"It's more costly, and I would give it a two on a scale from one to five with one being expensive and five being competitive pricing."
"Its price is reasonable. As compared to other CRMs, this CRM is competitively priced. They have multiple flavors with different sets of functionality. Pricing is based on the flavor that suits your requirement. If you have more users, the cost will come down."
"The product is expensive."
"The solution is expensive."
"There is a license required to use SAP CRM."
"The licensing model for SAP CRM is customer-based."
"SAP CRM costs approximately a couple of thousand a month."
"SAP CRM is not suitable for smaller businesses because it is expensive. The larger businesses would be able to handle the cost."
"SAP CRM offers a free trial for anyone wanting to test the product before purchasing it."
