The solution is used regarding all the technical bases of manufacturing, finance, and maintenance.

We work for a group of companies in their supply chain process and all aspects of their data. The meta is extracted from the EMS system online to ensure everything is under the same system. We put all the information into the system by transferring it from the mining warehouse to the slab facility in Bogata. Then in Bogata, we make all the transformation parts regarding the manufacturing. After we get the rough result, we change that to the appropriate value. In the main system, we have Azure, cost, and evaluation. We manage that and send it to New York and deliver it to sell it to our clients.

Traceability is the most valuable feature of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

We are currently working on the new version of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as we are currently involved in four different industries. Our focus is on optimization, and with this new version, we hope that using the solution, we succeed at integrating AI to help with tracking and addressing. We are also working with a group of companies that we have invested in and have new deals with, and we want to be able to provide information through dashboards using AI and BI, using the solution. Additionally, we are exploring the use of blockchain technology to ensure that not only our investments but also our clients have access to market information and understand how everything is working.

I have been using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for more than five years.

The stability of the solution is excellent.

It is a scalable solution. I rate it eight out of ten. Currently, 500 users are using the solution.

The technical support team is excellent, as they respond very fast.

The initial setup was complex.

We have seen a return on investment in our company.

The pricing is very high. Even though the license is perpetual yet you have to get the maintenance. Since we pay using Pesos, it's very expensive.

One should get the end-user manual because, in some parts, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is not user-friendly.

I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Our primary use case for the solution is for finance, such as payroll, sales and production but not full-fledged manufacturing because we have an in-house system developed for that. We deploy the solution on-premises.

We find the ease of use, customization, and user interface valuable.

The solution can be improved by including a built-in data warehouse and BI functionalities. So the end user could report by themselves, depending on the IT. Currently, the solution has many good features, but the issue is that people need to be very well-trained and have the right resources to do any work. For example, if you want to make a new system out of it for your business, you need to have a specialist and an architect available. In addition, some specialized resources are required for each module, which is sometimes difficult.

We have been using the solution for approximately nine years and are currently using the latest version.

The solution is stable. I rate it a nine out of ten.

The solution is scalable and easy to integrate with others. It can extend to many things, including interfacing with other applications and API-based interfacing through databases. Approximately 150 people, from operators to the CEO, are currently utilizing the solution across different countries, including Bahrain, Singapore, U.S. and Australia. I rate the scalability an eight out of ten.

When we have issues, we usually contact our in-house team first, and if we need further support, we reach out to Oracle support, but we have not directly used support from JD Edwards Enterprise One. I rate Oracle support a five out of ten because the technical, licensing, and sales teams do not communicate with each other and provide varying information depending on the agents we speak to.

We used an internal system on the IBM platform before moving to JD Edwards Enterprise One 25 years ago. JD Edward Enterprise One has a lot of functionalities, but they are costly. So we have developed in-house systems to take care of them. For example, we have our time and attendance systems outside JD Edward Enterprise One. We also have our procurement, which liaises with our suppliers and vendors outside JD Edward Enterprise One because we cannot afford to manage everything from JD Edward Enterprise One. The fundamental functionalities are on the solution, but for any extra features and self-service workflow, we handle it outside of JD Edward Enterprise One.

The initial setup without a lot of customization is straightforward. I rate it an eight out of ten. However, suppose there are many customizations, and you want to tweak the system to meet your particular function, depending on the complexity. In that case, it may be complex, but it is straightforward with minimal customization and more towards parameterization and customization.

The period for the initial setup could take up to a year or more, depending on the complexity and availability of resources. If you're starting from scratch and don't have a JD Edwards Enterprise One solution and want to implement it in the organization, configure it and set up the system to be functional.

We implemented it in-house because our team has been there for many years and knows the whole system and the business. So they are like internal consultants. They are process experts and JD Edwards Enterprise One experts, and they are the IT guys. A minimum of two people are required for maintenance.

The licensing is expensive compared to other solutions on the market, and getting the resources in Bahrain is not easy because very few of us use JD Edwards Enterprise One. I rate the pricing an eight out of ten, with one being the least expensive and ten being the most expensive.

I rate the solution a seven out of ten. The solution is good but can be improved by including a built-in data warehouse and BI functionalities. I do not recommend the solution for users in Bahrain or Gulf because limited resources are available. However, if they can support it, then I recommend it. However, I recommend it to users in the U.S. or other countries with enough resources to support it.

We're using it in the manufacturing space, and we're using it in the public sector. So, it's a multifaceted system.

Its user interface and ease of navigation are valuable. The functionality and enhancement capabilities in terms of development, browsing tables, et cetera are also valuable.

I would like to have the ability to easily customize forms. Forms customization should be easier. Currently, it has to go through the development life cycle.

In terms of additional features, they have already added so many features to this product.

It's very stable. I would rate it a nine out of ten in terms of stability.

I've worked on NetSuite, and I've worked on Oracle E-Business. This product is way ahead of its time in terms of features. It's just that it's a mid-tier product that's not recognized a lot. As compared to NetSuite and Oracle E-Business, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is highly customizable, especially in a manufacturing environment.

I find it very easy, but I've been working with it for the last 10 years. I've been working with NetSuite for the last two years, and I've worked with Oracle E-Business for at least one year or two years. In terms of setup, I find JD Edwards very flexible.

I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of the setup. It's difficult to set up, but once you know the software, you can go through it.

It's very competitively priced. The only problem now is that most of the industry is moving towards software as a service or a subscription model, whereas JD Edwards has a capital expenditure. You would spend on the licenses once off. You can either host it on-premise or in the cloud, but there is a licensing fee once a year. 

Overall, I would rate it a seven out of ten.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is generally used to run most business operations and at a very high level. Those business operations would include a financial module, distribution, and HR. There are many other modules available to fit enterprises' needs.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne's most valuable feature is its one consolidated platform that runs all the different aspects of companies.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is more of a legacy solution because most of the competitors are or have moved to the cloud. It would be beneficial if there was a cloud version available. Additionally, the interface could improve.

I have been using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for approximately 20 years.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is stable.

The scalability of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is very good. You can have a lot of users using the solution, such as 20,000, and run multiple companies and languages.

The initial setup of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is highly complex.

We use remote services for the support of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

The maintenance of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is expensive and overall the solution is expensive. Most enterprise operation solution is expensive.

The cost of the solution depends on the size of the company, the number of users, and many other factors.

I would advise others t choose a cloud base solution.

I rate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne a six out of ten.

My role for this product, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, is as a technical developer. I use almost all of the technical tools, including JDeveloper, which is a tool that we use for development, specifically web services development using Java programming. At the moment, JDeveloper is a product within Oracle that is integrated with our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne product for developing business services.

We all use JD Edwards EnterpriseOnes' core technical products, including the Universal Batch Engine, which we use for report development. Another tool is used for interactive application development.

And the name-giving tools and business functions that we create based on the needs. So those are the types of business functions that we create with JD name-giving tool programming, and you can see the functions that we use in C+, C++ for Java, and JD Edwards name-giving tool programming languages. When it comes to databases, I have experience in both executing and writing SQL.

I like all of the progress Oracle has made with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. They have introduced a new tool, Orchestrator, in the most recent version or the most recent separated version of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. It is a replica or a replacement for the development of business services, in my opinion. We use the Orchestrator tool to develop the orchestration processes, which we then use for data migration from the Legacy system to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and vice versa if you're using that tool.

I like the terminologist, which I would say is a must-have feature that was missing when I was using OneWorld. Prior to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, there was OneWorld, and there were no requesting tokens, holding tokens, or resuming the object for myself. Unless I give them permission, no one else can check it out and start working on it to write code. As a result, that is an enhancement to the OneWorld in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

I have worked with various types of objects. I have worked with almost all types of objects. I was given an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne objects.

The 1V reporting is straightforward and simple to use. Creating 1V reports does not require any technical knowledge. This is quite interesting, and I know how to work on it; it is not a part of improvement, and I am aware of it. Aside from that, I haven't worked on any JD Edwards EnterpriseOne E1 pages.

I'm really looking forward to some opportunities to get some work done on it so that I can learn JD Edwards EnterpriseOne E1 pages and gain some experience.

They have all of the good models, such as finance, supply chain, recruitment, HRMS, accounts receivable, and payable.

Despite the fact that it is an old technology, we still have good projects and good work. It's an excellent technological product that any client should consider.

Oracle has introduced Orchestrator as a new technical tool in the most recent upgraded version.

I didn't get much experience working on this Orchestrator, but I did watch some tutorials and do some exercises on my own. And, to be honest, I don't have such an environment for orchestration development. That is something I need to look into, study, and have peace of mind about. Aside from that, there are some technical tools introduced by Oracle that I have not worked on. I have a lot of 1V reporting. 1V reporting is a type of interactive reporting tool that Oracle has introduced in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

In a nutshell, Orchestrator is the primary technical tool on which I would like to focus my efforts.

The tools we use for data transformation from Legacy to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne are inbound and outbound from JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Most of us as technical people believe that the suite processors or EDI processors introduced by JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle are more reliable when compared to the most advanced tools for business development orchestration, such as JDeveloper. Because the objective of using it is the same, it's for data transformation.

We believe that the older features or tools provided by Oracle are more reliable than the new ones. If you ask me, I would prefer to stick with the older tools that we use for data transformation because they are more reliable.

The implementation phase is critical. If that is done correctly, it will be a 10 out of 10.
That is a very important part, as it is the first stage when you buy this product. If the product has been successfully implemented, you will receive a score of 10 out of 10. The implementation procedure could be simplified. Then there's customization, product customization, as well as customization for your business environment. That can be counted separately, not all at once.

I have been working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for more than ten years.

We are using the latest version.

We have not deployed it using the cloud, because the project that I have been working with does not yet use the cloud.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a stable, and reliable product.

My current project is a US project, and I can tell you that we have a team of about 250 people. 250 people, but not all of them in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. We have nearly 50 people in different teams at JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

There are many more in this project. I'm not sure if there are any other projects that are using this product. But there are several projects, but I'm only going to tell you about my current project.

JD EnterpriseOne's product is simple to use and understand. When it comes to ERP technology, there are many models, all of them, that have been widely used in the United States, first and foremost, and it is developed are with the needs of the US clients in mind.

Oracle does offer technical support. They do provide technical assistance. Oracle is a company that offers technical support.

We do obtain licenses from Oracle. For example, I work for a client who provides us with access to Oracle support and licenses. And whenever we get stuck somewhere, whether it's a problem with a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne product, a technical problem, a functional problem, or anything else, we just write a query on the Oracle support portal. There is an Oracle support portal where we can submit our questions, and they respond within two to three working days.

We've been writing them, our queries, directly to Oracle support, and they do respond, and they respond as quickly as they can.

I was not involved in the deployment process. I do work on product development. I'm the head of JDeveloper.

Deployment of the product is handled by a different department known as the CNC department. CNC consultants are more aware of it. 

We have separate teams, for the product deployment. 

There are some maintenance activities that our CNC team has been doing for a long time. I'll give you an example, of maintenance activities. The client may be using a specific product version, and there may be some ESUs or stars, which we, or a CNC consultant, may apply to that product upon function approval.

Those ESUs will sort when there is consolidation or when there is a package that includes some of the additional functionality for any particular object that is not present in the version that the client has been using. In that case, we identify the ESUs and stars to which we must apply in specific objects. Accordingly, we accept those functions and approvals. We, as technical personnel, reviewed them, the code that ESU and the stars requested, and upon function approval, the CMC consultants applied on those objects, the list of objects wherever it is required. This is the type of maintenance that CNC workers perform on a regular basis.

In terms of price, it is not on the high end. When compared to the SAP product, it is significantly less expensive.

If you buy the product and then get support from Oracle directly, they will charge you.

It is conditional. If you buy some additional licenses from them to use products, I believe they will give you access to that when you buy a product. That is present, of course, but if you require something additional from them, an addition to the product, there are some sub-products there you will require in the future, so they will charge for that or any valid services for some years or some time period, but those charges are also very minimal.

Oracle is my company's partner, and JD is an Oracle product. It's a partner to my company, and it's a client partner, but they have a license to a product version, and they also have Oracle support. There is an Oracle support portal; we ask a question, the client asks a question, and the client asks another question. We have had discussions with Oracle about this product. If you purchase this product, you will receive Oracle support for the initial days.

When you buy JD Edwards products, the first step that you will need is JD Edwards implementation. For each model that you purchase, you will require the services of some functional experts. When you purchase it as a product, you will be purchasing some models from them. You will require a financial model as well as supply chain models. For each model, you will undoubtedly require supply chain, finance, and consulting. They will be responsible for the product's implementation.

I would definitely recommend this solution because I have had a great experience working with this product as a developer.

I would rate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne an eight out of ten.

Feature-wise, it is a good product. I have implemented the solution in a big company. It is one of my projects where I implemented JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

In terms of weaknesses, I can say that the product has no problems since it can be easily deployed.

Instead of considering adding additional things to the overall app, it is good to add a financial path and general ledger since that is what is mostly used here.

The only issue with the solution that it yet to consider improvements in its price.

I have experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. I have twenty years of experience with the solution. I am involved in a lot of big projects, including the small ones. I am a technical consultant. My company has a partnership with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

The product has been stable so far.

I am satisfied with the technical support by JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

In terms of pricing, we have a lot of problems because companies here don't have enough resources to acquire the product. So we need to evaluate the price according to our demographic.

The license cost is around 1,00,000 euros.

We do have to pay additionally for maintenance.

The use case is finance, procurement, sales, or management on the touch screen.

The solution has significantly reduced the number of modifications to our system from the previous software. Enterprise One has come in to reduce the modifications that need to be done, as well as the interface between other systems. Furthermore, the solution has also increased operational efficiency.

There are numerous good features. Our customers really like the bank configuration of the solution. By budgeting regarding the financial base for the management. There are a host of features that our customers are interested in. The features really have to be self-explanatory.

I would like the user experience to be more user-friendly. The current reporting system is not good; the only options are to export to PDF and Excel. The previous reporting system was not good either unless we do blind reporting where we can find our own report, such as a DTE stop report. It is not good compared to our website.

I have been using the solution for eight years.

The solution is very stable.

The solution is scalable. Our business can scale up for our customers as we start from the video on live message all the way to the back end.

I previously used SAP Business All-in-One but I prefer JD EdwardsOne. 

Our price range is very competitive, and JD EdwardsOne is easy to use. Additionally, the new user interface is user-friendly.

The initial setup can be a bit tedious. If we have to set the hang-up, the process of scrubbing the tables is also tedious. Therefore, we need someone with the necessary skills and experience. However, if we have experience in JD Edwards, the initial setup should be manageable.

The deployment time depends on the organization. If the prototype and business processes have already been completed by the company, then we will only need to manage the project for them to go live. However, this is especially true for recent cases. It takes a bit of time to do an enterprise deployment, so if we only have to do financial and procurement, we can expect it to take four to six months. It also depends on the customer's readiness and we require eight consultants for a medium-sized deployment.

Our organization implements the solution for our customers.

I give the solution an eight out of ten.

I don't think the solution is difficult to maintain, especially if we provide good training. The solution is hard to automate, but with good training for the customer, it should be manageable.

Training is required to use the solution, and I recommend consulting a professional before making any major changes to the system.

The college relied heavily on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for all its financial reporting, procurement, and project management needs. It was a crucial component of the day-to-day operations at the college.

The most valuable features of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne are financial reporting, procurement, and project management.

The solution could improve by having additional efficient analytics available to more users. They should allow a sample database to be able to test and do proof of concept would be extremely valuable to all of our clients.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is used by our clients that use different modules, such as payroll and finance. I primarily use the payroll module.

The most valuable feature of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is the flashback it quickly takes you to the data browser. Additionally, one of the newer tools is the orchestrator which is very good.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne could improve the speed because sometimes it takes time to load into the environment. This is typical when the ESU patch packages are used.

The setup of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne difficulty depends on the module being installed by the client. The setup does not take much time but the implementation of the modules can take approximately 18 weeks to complete. If there are multiple modules being implemented it can take approximately six months.

I am a consultant that does the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementations.

The price of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is high. However, every ERP solution has a high price.

Whenever there are custom applications to be added, it's very seamless.

We recently deployed the solution to a new client a few months ago.

Maybe after some time, I can confirm the stability. However, right now, we've only just deployed it. From the client side, once we receive comments, we'll have a better idea. I haven't heard anything negative just yet.

I was told that the solution can scale well. In terms of how well that has been received, I can't comment. I haven't heard of any scaling happening just yet.

Technical support has been good so far. We have not had any complaints.

Since the client was so aggressive on time, it was done in three to four months of time.
