Each user can create projects using a list, board, calendar, or timeline view. Within each project, users can add tasks, subtasks, sections, comments, attachments, start and due dates, and custom fields. Project and task followers get notifications on changes or comments on the project and/or task in their Inbox. Individual users can see all of the tasks they're responsible for across all of their projects in a view called My Tasks.
Asana is available in English, French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese.

NOC Manager at a comms service provider with 51-200 employees | 5.0 | I use Asana to streamline project tracking and reporting, appreciating its integration capabilities and real-time updates. Despite needing a native ticketing feature, its automation and dashboards offer significant advantages. We've evaluated other tools, but Asana's features led us back. |
Head of Content Marketing at scion social | 4.0 | I use Asana for task and project management. The collaboration features, dashboards, and automation are valuable, but the email integration needs improvement. Asana has delivered ROI, despite careful consideration needed for user and feature costs. |
Project Manager at Taco Cabana, Inc. | 4.0 | I find Asana user-friendly, especially its Kanban boards and portfolio features, which improve team visibility and workload management. While setup was initially complex, it's now effective, though capacity planning and sorting visuals could use improvement. |
Independent Business Consultant at Freelance | 2.0 | I use Asana for project management, appreciating its user-friendly interface and desktop client. However, it needs better integration with other technologies, improved reporting, and automatic data population in forms. I have not used other solutions. |
Director of Analytics at a financial services firm with 1-10 employees | 4.5 | I use Asana primarily for project management and teamwork. Its user interface is excellent, and the alerts and notifications are helpful. The ability to integrate with other tools is valuable, though I'd like to see more features added. |
Chief Operations Officer at PRO-VISION | 4.5 | I use Asana for project management as it simplifies tasks, tracking, and feedback within one interface. It includes OKRs, metrics, and risk management, unlike MS Project. However, a feature for separate project libraries would enhance its utility. |
Data & Process Analyst at Pnbmetlife India Insurance Ltd | 4.0 | I use Asana to manage portfolios and tasks, relying heavily on its insightful dashboard. However, the dashboard needs improvement to retain my last navigation position to maintain workflow continuity. |
Founder at Elxae Hub | 4.0 | I find Asana to be an effective task management app suitable for project management due to its strong integrations and popularity. While the messaging feature could improve, its ROI is evident, outperforming alternatives like Trello and comparable to Bitrix24. |
