Zoho Sign has limitations on the number of contracts one can sign and needs improvement in this area. Users have reported bugs and difficulties with the user interface, and it may not be as well-known as other e-signature tools, causing confusion for some recipients. The ability to communicate with the tool via chat and improve alignment and customization options would also be useful features to add.
Zoho Sign has been found to generate a return on investment, although the extent of the ROI may vary depending on the specific use case of a company.
According to user reviews, Zoho Sign offers affordable pricing plans with no setup costs. Users can choose from monthly or annual subscriptions, with the option to upgrade or downgrade at any time. Zoho Sign is used for API integration of multiple applications, experimental purposes, and creating electronic signatures for various purposes such as responding to real estate transactions or acquiring new companies. Zoho Sign's customer service and support is inconsistent, with some users experiencing delayed responses and others having no significant interactions with them. Technical support has been rated positively by some users, but overall, the support is not considered adequate and users may need to seek external help for troubleshooting.
Some found the initial setup for Zoho Sign complex and requiring specific knowledge of the API, rating it a five to six out of ten. However, others found it very straightforward and quick, with one user noting that it only took them a few minutes to set up their account. Another user with experience found it easy to set up.
Zoho Sign's solution stability receives positive ratings, with some giving it a perfect score of ten and others rating it around six to nine out of ten. The reviewers noted the absence of bugs or glitches, and the fact that it does not crash or freeze.

Its scalability and seamless integration with third-party applications cater to various business needs, ensuring efficient document management. | Finance Executive at Yugoslavian Furniture Co & Slovenian Furniture | 3.0 | I use Zoho Sign for experimental purposes and appreciate its integration and invoice features. However, it needs to be more user-friendly and has bugs requiring frequent refreshes. It's deployed on Microsoft Azure for these tasks. |
| Information Security Analyst at a computer software company with 51-200 employees | 4.0 | Zoho Sign offers good functionality and pricing, but its adoption is challenging due to lack of recognition compared to DocuSign. Although cheaper, we returned to DocuSign, valuing its familiarity and to avoid training costs despite Zoho's effectiveness. |
| Investor at a computer software company with 51-200 employees | 4.5 | I use Zoho Sign for creating electronic signatures on NDAs and real estate transactions. It’s easy to use with a good interface. However, it lacks AI features for chatting directly with the application, making task execution less seamless. |
| Senior ZOHO Consultant at self-employed | 4.5 | I use Zoho Sign to streamline our CRM by automatically generating and signing documents, integrating them back into the system. It's affordable and scalable, though improvements are needed in alignment and template customization. It offers better value than alternatives like DocuSign. |
| Business Consultant and Developer at Consigliere | 4.5 | We use Zoho Sign primarily for API integration across multiple applications, valuing its flexibility and ease of integration with third-party applications. However, there are limitations on the number of contracts you can sign without incurring extra costs. |

Zoho Sign has to be made more user friendly. Zoho Sign has bug issues, and sometimes we have to keep refreshing it.
I have been using Zoho Sign for the last two to three months.
I rate Zoho Sign a six to seven out of ten for stability.
I rate Zoho Sign a five out of ten for scalability. Around 10 to 20 users are using Zoho Sign in our company.
Zoho Sign's customer support sometimes does not respond at the proper time. Whenever we send them a message, they reply the next day or by the end of the day. Hence, I rate Zoho Sign a maximum of one out of ten for customer support.
Negative
I rate Zoho Sign’s initial setup a five to six out of ten.
Zoho Sign is expensive compared to other software and charges AED 120 per user for a month.
I use the latest version of Zoho Sign. Zoho Sign is still improving because they send their announcements each month. I recommend people use Zoho Sign only if they have proper guidance from the people at Zoho. Else, it will be a big mess.
Overall, I rate Zoho Sign a six out of ten.
It works very well, and its pricing is also good.
Because not everyone uses it, it's difficult to get it adopted. When you send someone something and it's a DocuSign, they go, "Okay, this is legit." When you use any of the other ones, people are like, "Oh! What is this?" I don't know if that's a branding issue or something else. We use it outside of my professional work on the real estate side, and anytime we send it to someone, probably nine times out of ten, you get the response, "Oh! What is this?". It's not that it's bad. It's just that the whole point of using these e-signatures is to get things done quicker and more efficiently, so if I've to go back and forth with someone twenty times to explain this is this, it isn't productive.
We probably had only forty people on it.
I don't remember them being bad. I can't think of any instances in which they were amazing. I don't even know if we ever dealt with them all that much. I know during purchasing, it was pretty easy.
I've used most of such solutions. I couldn't care less either way. They are all just as aggravating and just as useful. I've used PandaDoc, Adobe Sign, DocuSign, etc.
DocuSign is great. DocuSign is a little expensive. It's probably something like thirty dollars a user per month. It gets quite expensive. Zoho is much cheaper, and that's why we were looking at it originally. Zoho worked well, but everyone had already used DocuSign, so it was easier just to pay the extra money instead of paying for the training. We went back to DocuSign pretty quickly within six months.
It's significantly cheaper than DocuSign.
If you have limited funds or are a startup, Zoho Sign is definitely a competitor to DocuSign. It's definitely a valid option. The problem that you run into is that it's just not as recognized.
I'd rate it an eight out of ten. Functionality-wise, it's a ten out of ten. It works great. It does everything that it's expected to do. We never had any problems with it. The biggest issue you run into is notoriety.

I primarily use Zoho and DocuSign for creating electronic signatures. For example, when I need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or respond to real estate transactions, or when we try to acquire new companies, they often send their NDAs and documents using DocuSign or Zoho. In the case of acquiring a small SMB manufacturing company, where I need to review their financial documents from the last four to five years, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and other related documents, I can use Zoho or DocuSign to receive those documents without sending emails back and forth. Real estate transactions are also a good use case for electronic signatures. However, I believe there could be many other use cases for electronic signatures, especially those requiring collaboration.
The solution is fairly easy to use since there are no complexities. Also, it has a good user interface, and even its support is good. For any documents, I just need to log in to Zoho to see some of the items I want. So, the way it maintains track of the history of documents, for instance, last year, if I had signed on ten documents and this year I had signed on three or four documents, are all made available to me. Hence, I don't need to worry about what I did about a year ago since I can go back and look at it on Zoho.
Though I don't want to dive into the conversation about artificial intelligence, I think that it would be a good improvement if one could chat with Zoho or DocuSign. So, instead of performing multiple actions on the tool, I just tell the application what I want it to do for me. In short, the tool cannot currently let me communicate or talk with it via chat.
I have been using Zoho Sign for a couple of years. My company is just an end-user of the solution.
The solution's technical support was good. I rate the technical support an eight out of ten.
Positive
The solution's initial setup process was very straightforward. If I remember, the initial setup process to get an account took me a few minutes. That's not a lot of time,d so that was very good.
Overall, I feel the solution's pricing is good. I believe that they have one of the better pricing models when compared to DocuSign. Zoho is a good option for small and medium-scale businesses. In short, for SMBs, Zoho's price point is better than DocuSign.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.
It generates leads in the CRM. When creating leads, they get generated on the platform and extra information related to credit applications, documentation, and forms. Once the form is completed, it is populated and updated in the CRM. Once the deal is closed, I can send Zoho Sign to the contacts under the lead. Primary users fill out the contract first, and then the next, and so on. Once everyone is signed, it gets back to the managers, that review and sign the contract that goes into the module with an updated status that the contract is completed.
The solution helps us get the signatures we need in order to close the contracts. It can help us handle confidential data. It improves the process of signed applications. We can also sign the attached contract to the relevant record for future reference as necessary.
I like that there is a hierarchy in sending the documentation. You have managers, sub-mangers, and CEOs, and you can send the documentation; everyone is getting the required documents. The CEO gets the documentation already filled out, and then it can get placed in the CRM completed.
It's a stable solution.
The product can scale.
It is not hard to set up.
The pricing is very reasonable.
The alignment needs improvement. Some fields are auto-resized. However, the signature is not. Sometimes the placeholders can be too small.
Zoho Sign should be able to provide us with a link to the form. This would be useful to use in custom emails. They send the contract out with default templates, and we need to be able to adjust the templates as we would like.
I've used the solution for the last five years.
I'd rate the stability nine out of ten. There are no bugs or glitches. It is very stable. It does not crash or freeze.
I'd rate the scalability 8.5 out of ten. The solution is extendible.
Support is not good. If you need help, it's best to hire a consultant that can help you with troubleshooting.
Negative
I'm also familiar with solutions such as DocuSign, which is more expensive.
The initial setup is very straightforward. I have five years of experience, so it does not take long for me to set it up at this point.
I have witnessed an ROI. However, it does depend on the use case a company has.
The pricing is quite cheap compared to other solutions, such as DocuSign.
I am a Zoho consultant.
I'm using the latest version of the solution.
I'd recommend the solution to others. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
We use the solution for API integration of multiple applications.
The solution helps us enhance efficiency, save time, and improve the overall contract management process.
The solution's most valuable is the flexibility of API integration. It is easy to integrate with third-party applications enabling legally binding features in various business processes. Also, it works dynamically with documents. With its help, we can append multiple documents to a single signature process.
The solution has limitations on the number of contracts you sign. Presently, you have to pay extra to sign a massive amount of documents. They should work on this particular area.
I rate the solution's stability a ten.
I rate the solution's scalability a nine.
The solution's initial setup process is complex. It requires specific knowledge to understand how the API works for implementation.
The solution generates a return on investment.
The solution's price is reasonable. However, they should introduce subscription plans.
I recommend the solution to others and rate it a nine.
