Remote support has improved productivity and saves onsite visits through fast issue resolution
TeamViewer Business provides a fast and secure connection along with a reliable chat feature for a smooth support section. I also appreciate the monitoring and asset management capability, which enhances the remote access experience for my team and me. TeamViewer Business provides seamless communication capability, which includes a variety of options such as chat, call, and video that enhance interaction with our remote clients. TeamViewer Business has been really helpful in my organization, where we are able to troubleshoot any issue our clients have and resolve it as quickly as possible. It enables me to fix the problem faster. If a customer's screen is not working or a glitch happens, I can simply share their screen into my screen through TeamViewer Business and rectify the issue rather than asking them to describe the problem via email. This saves a lot of time and is helpful for our customers who are buying our products. The best features TeamViewer Business offers include seamless communication, efficient remote access, and fast and secure connection.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Remote access is really the biggest one, because in order to be able to support my clients from wherever I am, that is the biggest feature."
"It allows you to transfer along with many other functions."
"Provides remote access, allows me to get inside our network to be able to fix problems."
"I have called for help to their technical support, and they have been extremely helpful."
"The alerts are helpful."
"No issues with stability. It has worked on every platform I’ve tried it on, and not interfered with anything."
"I like the security aspect, that I can glance down and see quickly who's up to date on patches, and who has virus concerns."
"The initial setup was very easy."
"The most valuable feature of TeamViewer is its ease of use."
"The most valuable features of TeamViewer are the ease of connecting to remote computers. I do not need a lot of information about their computers to connect, a nontechnical person can give me the information needed for me to connect. Additionally, the solution does not gather other system information about the host or client's systems as other solutions might, such as AnyDesk."
"The quality of the call and the quality of the sharing have been excellent."
"It's very beneficial and time effective on how we are able to provide quick support. We've quadrupled our effectiveness as an IT support because we have cut down all that unnecessary travel time, even between floors."
"TeamViewer Business has positively impacted my organization by helping us resolve critical issues within the four-hour SLA contracts we have with clients, avoiding penalties associated with delays."
"The most valuable feature has been the ability to give control to others for support purposes."
"It is a scalable product."
"The solution is a very good tool for monitoring and for remote access. Anyone is able to use it, it is simple to use."

Cons

"I have had issues where LogMeIn has not been useful, then we have not been able to work that day. This happens probably two or three times a year."
"It is easy to get locked out, which is something that needs to be improved."
"The screen. Make it clearer. The screen resolutions don't always line up. So clarity of the screen, and speed."
"I do not like the antivirus."
"It's not really a true RMM product but more of just a remote access."
"Compared to other products, I feel that their biggest weakness has been customer service. They are very nice, but things take forever to resolve. It has been a major issue there. Otherwise, we're happy. We haven't moved away from them because we haven't found anybody with comparable pricing for our business model."
"The file transfer could be better. They could make it a lot easier to deal with. LogMeIn Central is not that intuitive. It's a lot harder to figure out."
"Sometimes it just fails to load."
"The product can sometimes crash."
"Voice communication and screen communication or face-to-face communication could be improved."
"This solution could be improved by offering more flexibility in terms of usage."
"The stability of TeamViewer is good, but it could be better."
"You can't configure multiple, unattended control passwords on the Mac. On the Mac, there's only one. On Windows, there are multiple unattended control passwords. I have people in different departments. My infrastructure people need to control a server and my developers may need to go into that same server. But I don't want them to have the same password... on the Mac, it can be done but it's extremely clunky and problematic."
"Every now and then you'll get a silent crash and you relaunch the application. But it happens no more than with anything else in the Windows environment."
"The file transfer functionality crashes sometimes."
"Support for mobile devices from Linux has been missing since the Native client was rolled out. This was a nice option, especially when trying to walk somebody who was struggling to understand something on their phone."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It really is an expensive product for me."
"It's getting more expensive and we are starting to evaluate other products. It's starting to become unaffordable."
"We went with it for pricing reasons, that it was the biggest bang for our buck, by combining the ability to have a central security console, as well as a central point for user administration."
"The price needs improvement. It is ridiculously expensive now, and no features have really changed."
"Pricing is a little high. They require for LogMeIn Central to go into brackets. If you go over a certain amount of PCs or servers to access, going up to the next bracket is a big jump."
"The only thing I found is that they've gotten very, very expensive over the years. I started out with about about 100 users on it. Two years ago it was about $600 for 100 users. Now, it's that price for 25 users."
"The price is a little high but it's competitive. The licensing process is fairly easy."
"Having to spend so much money on remote access is what I feel to be a necessary evil."
"The price was cheaper than what we were previously paying. At the time that we went with TeamViewer, we were using ShareConnect. The TeamViewer package was about half the cost and able to have a bigger number of users."
"We are using the free version of TeamViewer."
"It would be nice if it is cheaper."
"TeamViewer pricing is reasonable... The simultaneous controller licensing model of TeamViewer - compared to LogMeIn’s controlled Host licensing model - seems to benefit us so far. We’re currently saving about 30 percent on licensing cost... The savings from licensing have been eaten up by the soft costs involved in dealing with and working around TeamViewer’s deficiencies in allowing granular control by multiple controllers, and the issues with the various settings that are missing on the macOS Host."
"The version of the solution we are using is free."
"It has probably saved us several thousands of dollars because we have quick access anywhere. We don't have to worry about finding people onsite or arranging conference calls. We also save time and money with it because we don't have to send somebody onsite to troubleshoot."
"We have an annual subscription that is just under $1,900 with no additional costs. We get these promotions about upgrades and stuff like that, but we haven't had a need to add more seats. Users can also use TeamViewer for home use with a non-commercial free license."
"TeamViewer is very pricey. You have to sign up for a yearly subscription."
