What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
I like the integration part, and I also like how they use the database, such as the data when they implement all the data side, and how you can easily integrate it with their widgets.
What needs improvement?
Their multi-production is a little complicated, despite the fact that they now have Microdeployment. They have big versioning and small versioning, with the small one being the one that doesn't work very well. That is where I think it could be improved.
The gateway through which it connects with other vendors, specifically RPA vendors, is one aspect that could be improved.
There's a lot of analytics going on, and everything revolves around data. I believe it could be improved or have a way to improve the reporting or create a dashboard so that you can make decisions right there without having to rely on a third-party modeler. Also, improve the simulator that they have so that you can collect more data with the simulation tool.
For how long have I used the solution?

What is most valuable?
What I find most valuable is the flexibility, I find it very easy to use and very flexible for my purpose. I can use it without any particular problem, and it's very intuitive and easy to understand.
What needs improvement?
I don't know if it's a problem with my operating system or a Bizagi problem, but many times I see that when I try to connect different activities, they show up as not connected. In fact, when I made a simulation about the flow, I found a lot of errors and got many mistake messages. So I have to try again and re-connect. I'm not sure if it's a problem with my operating system, or if it's a Bizagi problem because sometimes it depends on how Bizagi talks with the operating system and vice versa. I use a free version, so maybe the professional version is different.
I would like to see a way to check the workload of the users. I thought you could upload the number of FTE working on a singular activity, but you can't.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using this solution for about two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
There are no problems with the general stability of the product. Sometimes when you close a file and try to reopen, it says it didn't connect. Other than that the stability is perfect.
How was the initial setup?
I had no issues with the initial setup process.
What other advice do I have?
I give this solution a seven out of ten.

Graduate Trainee at a computer software company with 51-200 employees
A low-code business process modeling and automation platform with a powerful business process management engine
Pros and Cons
- "I like the business process management engine. It's very detailed, and you can probably map any of the corporate workflow processes you come across in it compared to some of the other solutions out there. I can probably say that it has very good support to work in tandem with other RP solutions in the market. The software is still very user-friendly and integral, and they have pretty good online resources. The automation feature is pretty good, so is the integration feature."
- "Bizagi is a very powerful business process management engine, and you can take very niche processes and map them completely using the Bizagi engine."
- "Cloud support for their process mapping tool could be better. To map all your processes in any way and call your data, you need to download their on-premise setup or their desktop setup. Cloud support for process mapping is limited, and they should work on that."
- "Cloud support for their process mapping tool could be better."
What is our primary use case?
Bizagi is a very powerful business process management engine. I think it's one of the better solutions out there. You can take very niche processes and map them completely using the Bizagi engine. Bizagi is predominantly a BPM engine.
What is most valuable?
I like the business process management engine. It's very detailed, and you can probably map any of the corporate workflow processes you come across in it compared to some of the other solutions out there. I can probably say that it has very good support to work in tandem with other RP solutions in the market.
The software is still very user-friendly and integral, and they have pretty good online resources. The automation feature is pretty good, so is the integration feature.
What needs improvement?
Cloud support for their process mapping tool could be better. To map all your processes in any way and call your data, you need to download their on-premise setup or their desktop setup. Cloud support for process mapping is limited, and they should work on that.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Bizagi for about two weeks.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I'm not sure I can comment on stability just yet, but I did have an okay experience. I didn't have any issues.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It's definitely a scalable solution.
What about the implementation team?
I did install Bizagi in my system, and that's how I tested it out. The file itself was around one and a half GB, and that's more than what you typically use for the cloud and cloud stations. It probably took me about half an hour to install and deploy this solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Some solutions are completely free. One would be the business process diagramming tool, the server beneath it, and the automation tool. You don't need to pay to map the business process, but you would need to when you want to execute any of the commands. So, basically, they lure you in with a free ride, and when you want to scale the solution, you'll have to pay for it.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend this solution to new users depending on the use case. If you want it to manage processes that involve a lot of stakeholders, a lot of departments, and a lot of fragmented pieces of data, then I would definitely recommend Bizagi.
On a scale from one to ten, I would give Bizagi a nine.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud

What is most valuable?
The interface, design, and accessible user manuals to help get started using the solution are valuable features in Bizagi.
What needs improvement?
The solution is a bit heavy on resources and has slowed down my computer.
I would like to see in the future more organized features. We have all the tools needed but it would be a benefit to hide some elements to simplify things.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using this solution for two days.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have previously used Aris and this solution is much better. In Aris, it is more complex with a lot more tools to work with and is more professional but it is difficult to learn.
What other advice do I have?
I rate Bizagi a nine out of ten.

A user-friendly process modeler
Pros and Cons

- "I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited."
- "The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version. I've been trying to check some maps, for example, organizational maps or a model on organization hierarchy. Apparently, there seems to be no template. You have to create your own. I am not sure if there are templates, but I've not really seen any. I think that there's room for improvement."
- "The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version."
What is our primary use case?
I was introduced to Bizagi, and then someone else mentioned Microsoft Visio. I wanted to try and understand the differences between Bizagi and Microsoft Visio. I wanted to know which would be best suited for my use. I've tried to use Visio, but I haven't because of some issues, like monthly subscriptions.
What is most valuable?
I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited. However, while it's unlimited use, some features aren't available.
It can actually be very good for training or education before someone really gets into serious work. They can decide whether to purchase or subscribe after using it. I realized that it's very important to me.
What needs improvement?
The free version could be better. Some of the templates and all the functionalities aren't available in the free version. I've been trying to check some maps, for example, organizational maps or a model on organization hierarchy. Apparently, there seems to be no template. You have to create your own. I am not sure if there are templates, but I've not really seen any. I think that there's room for improvement.
They can also improve their documentation, more precisely, their coding of the maps. It has a unique way of making sub-processes, but I think the other school of thought is that if you have a process and within the process, you have a sub-process. They should improve how you code to link a sub-process within a process.
I think this coding is important. If you want to go beyond visual documentation to even narration, or if you want to include narration and map it onto the visual maps, you should be able to do it.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Bizagi for barely one month.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise potential users that they must understand Business Process Analysis and Business Process Mapping, or rather Process Mapping, before using it. If you don't understand that, you might not find it useful or meaningful. If you do understand Business Process Mapping, then you'll find Bizagi very useful.
On a scale from one to ten, I would give Bizagi a 9.

Good documentation capabilities and good balance between the effort and the result, but has performance issues with large processes and requires quite a bit of an effort to change things
Pros and Cons
- "The documentation capabilities are very good. Very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature. It has a good balance between the effort and the result. So, you don't need to be too detailed. You can document while you are modeling, which is a very good feature."
- "The documentation capabilities are very good, very structured documents and process versions are valuable features, and being able to communicate that to our customers is also a very good feature."
- "Its performance needs to be improved. The main thing is that it is limited, especially in terms of the response times. When the processes become a bit large, it is very awkward to work with the Bizagi modeler. When you have already modeled but start to rearrange, it is quite a bit of an effort to change the stuff. When you rearrange lanes or have new structures, it goes rather squiggly up and down and so on, which could be improved. The visual outputs of the DIREPs of the process models are pixelated and have a bad image quality. It is a PNG or JPEG, and you cannot export it as a PDF. When you have rather large processes, you should be able to arrange them hierarchically. Currently, it is not supported. If you use sub-processes and inflate a process, suddenly the arrangement is totally different, and although you know the process, you have to look where is it now. You need a good understanding of the levels of your processes before you start in Bizagi. It can have automatic support for optimal presentation. In BPM, you should have it from the top left to the bottom right. However, in most cases, people don't know how they should arrange it. Therefore, it would be nice to have a suggestion system for different arrangements to be able to better present the process."
- "Its performance needs to be improved. The main thing is that it is limited, especially in terms of the response times."
What is our primary use case?
We used it for the modeling part and some testing functionalities. We didn't use the licensed versions where you could go into automatization. So, we're more or less on the modeling level. We have used different versions of this solution.

For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using this solution for two years.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We are part of a larger company, and they meanwhile decided on FireStart, but they definitely want to go into the automatization of modeling and optimization. I wasn't involved in the pricing stuff, and I haven't worked too much on an operational level here, but all things I experienced with that product are very nice. The documentation and modeling are a little more complex, but the features are far richer than Bizagi. It is also direct, so you also have to pay for the modeler. I found it superior to Bizagi.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We didn't use the licensed versions where you could exactly go into automatization. However, we looked at the pricing in the beginning, and the only thing that I remember is that it was too expensive for the things we were using because our clients would also have to license the product. One client said that it was too expensive for the benefit they get out of it.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise others to not make the processes too large because of the performance issues. If you have small processes, it is perfect. Before you start in Bizagi, you need a good understanding of the levels of your processes because when you have already modeled and start to rearrange, it is quite a bit of an effort to change the stuff. So, take some more time initially in organizing the processes.
I would rate Bizagi a seven out of ten.
