It features low latency, which is crucial because everybody is using VPN to connect to their PCs at work.
Using GoToMeeting in a meeting-sized conference room is kind of a letdown. The camera is supposed to track the speaker and focus on that person so that they can be on the screen. That feature rarely worked. We tested it thoroughly, so maybe it was an issue with the size of the conference room. It may not be suitable for large conference rooms.

Unified communication has transformed our collaboration and consistently boosts project delivery
The best features Zoom Workplace Business offers include screen sharing, clear video and audio, online meetings, large-scale events, call management, mobile apps, unified communication platform, and collaboration. The feature I find myself using the most is an AI-powered collaboration platform that is used to streamline communication, increase employee engagement, optimize in-person time, and improve productivity. The screen sharing is very effective and a helpful tool where we are able to screen share with our colleagues and discuss different tasks and project management ideas. Collaboration has become very efficient, and remote working has also become efficient and prevalent in my organization. We have been able to save a lot of time using Zoom Workplace Business. It has been a game-changer. Zoom Workplace Business elevates the experience with Zoom AI Companion included at no additional cost. It is designed to help employees be more productive, collaborate better, enhance their skills, and unlock time savings.

"The stability and performance of the solution were good."

"Whiteboard is a good feature for having a meeting in which everyone can join to type or draw, and write, and if we have a brainstorming-type meeting, we can share our own ideas with the whiteboard."
"Primarily during the period of problematic travel, the solution enabled us to connect with customers, clients and even colleagues and to share our thoughts, ideas and information."

Cons

"Using GoToMeeting in a meeting-sized conference room is kind of a letdown. The camera is supposed to track the speaker and focus on that person so that they can be on the screen. That feature rarely worked. We tested it thoroughly, so maybe it was an issue with the size of the conference room. It may not be suitable for large conference rooms."
"The tool needs to have a virtual room where users can pass through. It also needs to integrate a real-time translator."
"The interface is a little outdated and could be better."
"In the next release, I would for it to incorporate files more efficiently from one computer to another when we covert things and send them out. I'm not sure if it's capable of that."
"The new version crashes my ISP. I don't like the new version."
"The solution must include archive options to save the recorded meetings for future reference. The recording functionality can benefit our team by improving how meetings are recorded and shared. Previously, only admins could record meetings, sometimes leading to issues if recordings were missed or not shared properly. The recent update now allows hosting GoToMeeting sessions with the ability to delegate recording rights to other team members."
"There may be more features available in, for example, Cisco WebEx."
"GoToMeeting is too slow, which is why we no longer use it."
"In Zoom meetings, video quality is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"Zoom could improve by increasing the time limitation in the free version."
"If Zoom could be more secure, that would be better. Security is always a highly sensitive matter for everyone today."
"The mobile version of Zoom could use some improvement."
"The paid version is quite expensive. There's no middle ground between free and paid."
"It's a heavy application that requires a lot of bandwidth. I would like to see Zoom incorporate those features where you can share documents and form teams while still maintaining efficiency."
"The solution could improve by being more secure."
"One thing that Zoom can improve is the chat. You can send messages to a specific person without messaging everyone. But everyone sees the whole chat if the administrator lets them see the chat. Maybe they could add an option to let you open a private conversation on the side with a person."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"GoToMeeting is a little bit expensive compared to other products."

"I use the free version that is available, so I'm not sure what the licensing prices are."
"Zoom is free."
"It is reasonable. It has a monthly license."
"There is a subscription to use the solution."
"We are using the free version of the solution."
"My organization has a yearly license for Zoom."
