Enhances remote access and integration with third-party tools
I use NinjaOne for managing smaller clients, specifically their devices and software, for small to medium businesses. I provide remote management services through NinjaOne. It allows clients to use NinjaOne for remote access to their computers for home office purposes. This feature is highly…

Allows the incorporation of systems and integration of remote systems
The initial setup is straightforward and requires three to five minutes. It starts with determining the PC's architecture (64-bit or 32-bit), leading the user to know which version to download. Additionally, there are a number of factors that need to be considered like the number of technical users for remote access, the number of remote locations, and storage requirements. These factors will guide the user license purchase. We should always factor in costs, and there's potential for offering more accessible pricing, especially in markets like Africa and developing countries, given their business environment. On the other hand, there have been challenges stemming from the transition; the previous owners used a free tool like NGINX for remote operations. Transitioning to a paid remote tool is driven by security and enhanced features.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Good at managing updates and for remote support."
"The most important aspect of this tool is the security it provides our company."
"The customer support at NinjaOne is excellent, rated ten out of ten."
"The policies are probably the most valuable features. They're similar in function to Microsoft group policies where we can have it monitor certain things or push out software on a schedule. I would rate the policies eight out of 10. They're robust, I could monitor most of the things that Windows Performance Monitoring keeps tabs on."
"It helps us to be able to have visibility into the overall performance of the servers, laptops, and desktops that we are managing currently."
"The solution's most valuable feature is related to its remote access...I know that NinjaOne's technical support is good."
"NinjaOne's best feature is its monitoring."
"The installation is easy, it only took two minutes."
"It is user-friendly for opening my server or PC."
"The most recent enhancements are quite remarkable."
"The solution is easy to set up."
"The initial setup of TeamViewer Remote Management is very simple."
"I use the product for remote access. We are IT service providers. In case anybody has problems with their computer, we use the solution to check them."
"TeamViewer Remote Management is very easy and very good for remote work."
"We use the product to communicate."
"The screen-sharing feature is good. The latency is considerably lower compared to platforms like Zoom."

Cons

"NinjaOne's pricing and user interface needs improvement."
"The inclusion of XENServer and Proxmox as virtual platforms in NinjaOne is currently missing."
"Improvements could be made to reduce NinjaOne's functionalities to focus more on inventory or remote help tools."
"The solution could improve by optimizing the internet connection being used."
"NinjaOne's dashboard could be easier to use."
"The remote connectivity could be better. It works most of the time, but sometimes, there are issues."
"I would like to see more scripts for PowerShell commands."
"I wish that they integrated it with more antivirus solutions. Currently, they only push Defender, but it doesn't really have integration with SentinelOne. It also didn't integrate with Trend Micro, which we were using previously. I would also like to have more control from the mobile app. As of now, I am able to see some performance values, but I can't see, for example, disk activity or disk performance values. If they can improve their app a little bit, it would help greatly. They can also improve the tech interface. If I assign certain techs to a bunch of specific machines, they only get those alerts that they're assigned to."
"If there were a way for users to do access reporting, that would be an ideal addition to the product."
"I don't like having so many updates."
"The price point would probably be an area of improvement with the number of competitors out there offering similar features. TeamViewer usually comes in a little high as compared to other solutions."
"If you have one version, like if you have version 14, and the client has version 15, you can't access his computer. If the client is on 14 and the technician is on 15, he can't access the end user who's at home. So there's a disparity in versioning."
"Integration with other tools would be great."
"There have been some delays in the past due to unstable internet connection."
"The main issue with the solution is the stability problem arising from network issues."
"I want TeamViewer Remote Management to incorporate more integrations."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"NinjaRMM uses a subscription model."
"NinjaOne's price is fine since my workplace is an educational institution, so we get the product at a really good price considering that we do not pay taxes, making the prices very fair and worth the product."
"The product's pricing depends on the number of PCs or devices."
"We got a pretty good deal. It was fairly affordable."
"It roughly costs $400 a month. It provides a good value because of the number of tools that you get in the solution. I would rate it a four out of five in terms of pricing. There are no additional costs other than the standard licensing fees."
"NinjaOne is a little expensive but is still cheaper than competitors like Acronis or Veeam."
"Its pricing is great."
"We currently pay $1.20 per device on a monthly basis."
"The solution's license is expensive."
"My company uses the free version of TeamViewer Remote Management."
"The solution relies on cloud-based infrastructure so the price is tailored to each individual model used"
"Our licenses for TeamViewer Remote Management are being managed directly by our procurement team. If we need more licenses they handle it."
