We use Ruckus Wireless for hospitality customers, education customers, healthcare customers, banking customers, and public venues.

Ruckus Wireless has a high ROI because it needs fewer access points due to BeamFlex technology, which means less civil work, less cabling, and less licensing. This significantly impacts the total cost of ownership of the project, making it very attractive for investors and increasing the ROI.

The most valuable feature of Ruckus Wireless is the simple interface of the SmartZone platform. This platform is very effective and easy to manage. It does not require experienced employees or IT managers to handle the system. BeamFlex is a part of every Ruckus AP, making it a leader in coverage area compared to other vendors.

The cloud solution is not mature enough.

We have been using Ruckus Wireless for more than twelve years.

The stability of the Ruckus Wireless solution is rated very high.

The solution is very scalable. It works well in very dense environments and provides good coverage.

Customer service and support are somewhat lacking. Sometimes the technical support team is not experienced enough to handle cases effectively. They tend to go in loops when fixing problems and often miss asking crucial questions that could make troubleshooting more efficient. It feels like the support is being outsourced to someone else who is not fully aware of the product.

The initial setup is very easy, rated a nine out of ten.

Ruckus Wireless is not cheap, and they have recently increased their prices. However, the product is worth it.

I would recommend Ruckus Wireless to others because it provides stable solutions. The wireless access points are very stable, provide good coverage in dense environments, and have many reasons to be recommended.

I mostly use this solution for Office Wi-Fi, but also for hotspots.

I like the controller more informative and easier to set up. They're a bit expensive, but the device performance is amazing.

There is room for improvement in the pricing. It could be improved. 

I have been using this solution for five years. I've used versions from the R7363 up to the R730 of the R510, R610, and R600 series, up to the RCV.

It is a very stable solution.

It's scalable with a very good range. On the deployment, I have a hotspot with about maybe 2,0000 users every day. I also used it in some enterprises and homes as standard stand alone units. 

The setup is a little bit complex, but it's slightly easier than UniFi's original setup. When growing the network, it's easier. Working with individual units is easy because I can get more information from them.

The deployment is really, and took just a couple of hours.

The deployment was done in-house.

Basically, set up the controller. Once the controller is set up, every unit connected to the system shows up in the system, and it's just adopted. A little bit of fine-tuning, and it's good to go.

Maintenance is really easy. I just have three technicians, on a permanent basis. But for tasks like cabling, I run all those myself. I use temporary staff when needed.

It is worth the money we are paying for this solution.

The pricing is expensive. We pay yearly license. There are no additional costs to the standard license. 

In my experience, I rate Ruckus almost a ten out of ten. It's really the best solution I've worked with.

I would suggest to go for it. It is a really good product.

The solution is used for public Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi solution provides internet connectivity in the public platform.

The tool needs to incorporate training. Also, it needs to improve the range of coverage.

The tool is scalable. We have over 300 users for the solution. We plan to increase the number of users.

The tool’s technical support is good.

The number of people required for the tool’s deployment depends on the circumstances.

I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. I would definitely recommend the solution. It's a robust solution that can help people to achieve their goals. You need to be properly trained to use it. The product brand can grow with online training and certification.

I give Ruckus Wireless's stability a ten out of ten.

I give Ruckus Wireless's scalability a ten out of ten. We can install 100 APs before installing more, which is enough for a small business.

We also use MikroTik as a cheaper option for customers that can't afford Ruckus. 

Configuring MikroTik is more complex compared to Ruckus, where we only need to create an SSID, and the rest is automatically handled in the background.

The initial setup is straightforward. I give the setup a ten out of ten. The deployment takes up to 15 minutes to complete.

The implementation was completed in-house.

The price is high and I give the price a four out of ten.

The solution is for small and medium clients.

For customers that can afford Ruckus, it is a great product and I recommend it.

Our use case is for public Wifi. I'm a system integrator. 

The product is easy to configure and user-friendly. The technology is very robust. 

I'd like to see some analytics features in the control itself.

The solution is stable. 

The solution is scalable. If one controller is not sufficient, you can add another.

We have access to technical support and they are generally quite good.

The initial setup was very easy, it's just a matter of configuring the access point. 
It's recognized by the controller, and when you onboard it on the wireless network everything is done automatically. One access point takes about 10 minutes to deploy. Other than for the software, there is no maintenance required. 

Licensing costs are reasonable and we can pay extra for additional support. 

I highly recommend this solution and rate it nine out of 10. 

The smart antenna is very good. The Ruckus equipment includes an array of antennas that move the radiation pattern in the direction that is more demanding of the service. Now, it's a standard in the new access points of almost all the vendors, but in some cases it's not enough. With Ruckus, you have very good performance, and the smart antennae is the key feature to deliver that kind of performance.

The cost could be improved.

Ruckus is a little bit complicated. They weren't using the cloud at the beginning. Later, they included a cloud platform, so it became an easier deployment.

Ruckus is more expensive than Meraki, but the performance moves in parallel with the cost.

If you want to deliver a very good and reliable network, don't introduce Meraki. I would go with Ruckus.

I would rate Ruckus as nine out of ten.

Ruckus is very useful with hospitality. Actually, it's unique when it comes to hospitality and education, and high-use environments.

The solution is very easy to use. 

The stability is great. It's a very stable product and is very good at hospitality integration. The cloud path solution for education is very helpful. When it comes to onboarding students and employees to the system, it's easy.

The product can scale. 

Support is helpful. 

Users get a good ROI. 

The development time is slow. It takes a very long time to get new features. That said, when upgrades do come, it's quite stable. It would be nice, however, to get more frequent updates. 

The cloud system from Ruckus is not mature enough just yet. They need a better cloud controller. 

I've been using the solution for about 12 years. 

The solution is very stable and reliable. There are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze. 

The scalability is great. I'd rate it nine out of ten in terms of the ability to expand as needed. 

We have more than 40 clients using the product right now. 

Technical support is quite helpful. They keep track of tickets quite well.

The deployments are fast. It takes a maximum of one hour to deploy an on-premises version and less than 30 minutes if you are deploying to the cloud. 

You only need one or two people to manage the deployment and maintenance of the solution. The implementation typically requires a network engineer. 

We are a systems integrator. We are able to deploy the solution easily ourselves. 

We've seen a very good ROI. I'd rate the ability to achieve ROI nine out of ten. 

On-premises deployments have perpetual licensing. Cloud licenses offer a yearly subscription.

We can use on-premises and cloud deployments. 

I'd recommend the solution to others, however, it depends on the size of the network. They have multiple models of access points and switches, so whether this product would be ideal or not depends on the sizing.

Overall, I would rate the solution eight out of ten. 

Ruckus Wireless provides good coverage.

The delivery device, and the warranty, need improvement. They offer a three-year warranty.

It takes a long time to return the RMS delivery device.

It is extremely difficult to send videos in Ruckus live sessions. Zoom streaming, or using Teams Streaming live sessions to send videos, for example, could be more effective.

I would like to see Cloud Control, and Wi-Fi 6 added as new features in the next release.

Ruckus Wireless is a stable solution.

Ruckus Wireless is scalable.

Ruckus Wireless has very good technical support in Jordan.

When compared with Cisco, and Aruba, Ruckus Wireless is less expensive. 
Cisco is expensive, and there is no support in Jordan.

It is reasonably priced. I would rate the price a three out of five.

With Wi-Fi 6 the price is more expensive than Aruba Wireless.

Wireless and Devices, use Wi-Fi 6. The 2.4 or the five is in the same range as Aruba.

I would rate Ruckus Wireless a six out of ten. It's a mid-ranged solution that is best suited for medium-sized companies.

We use Ruckus Wireless for wireless network connectivity in a hotel.

I have been using Ruckus Wireless for approximately five months.

Ruckus Wireless is a reliable solution.

The scalability of Ruckus Wireless is good.

There are approximately 500 users using the solution.

I have not contacted the technical support from Ruckus Wireless.

The initial setup is straightforward, it did not take very long to do. All you need to do is plug it in.

The price of Ruckus Wireless could be better. I have heard it is more expensive than other solutions.

We recently proposed a Ruckus solution using Cisco switches, in our local area. We have a local network for Cisco switches that we can help implement, as well as wireless connectivity that we are proposing. For a better wifi experience, we proposed a Ruckus solution.

It has great features. 

It also has cloud connectivity. All IPs can be managed and monitored by the customer from a single console. They will also manage and share the various regions' IPs and locations all over the world. However, a single console can be monitored and managed from anywhere in the world.

We would like to see a better licensing model for our customers.

We have been providing Ruckus Wireless for a couple of months.

Ruckus Wireless is scalable.

We have three or four clients who currently use Ruckus Wireless.

Technical support is fine.

We also provide Cisco Catalyst Switches, and Alcatel switches for customers. We are gold partners with Alcatel which is why we work with Alcatel products such as PBX, network switches, and WiFi.

The installation is straightforward.

I can take a week to install.

Commercially Ruckus for its features, its pricing is expensive for the customer. Customers go back and forth with the pricing, but we convince them that it is beneficial to include features.

Licensing is subscription-based.

This solution is provided by a team of three engineers at the upper and management levels.

I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it.
