The biggest advantage Jira offers is flexibility because it's very flexible, and you can build your own workflows and make it work exactly the way your team needs and integrate it with almost every third-party software.

In Jira, the integrations I have used so far are the repository integration, like when it gets added, or the integration with Confluence, which is good.

In terms of needed improvements, it would be appreciated to have more reporting capabilities in Jira, such as easily exporting capabilities to show how tasks are in progress and how the team is performing well or poorly.

Lately, I think Atlassian has been adding too many simplified features that look nice but don't offer the same level of flexibility, and made some fields not available through the API, which is kind of frustrating.

One area where Jira could be better is regarding the APIs from the sponsoring team; they should provide clearer API endpoints and support, as well as more flexibility in the support level.

Jira could be improved by making the UI simpler and more intuitive, especially for new users, as performance can also slow down in large projects, and configuring workflows or dashboards sometimes feels complex.

We haven't seen Jira's progressive area so far, and we are not sure what it might do in the future.

Sometimes the screens can be a bit too busy. There's often a lot of information on the screen. I think paring things down and applying some UX improvements might enhance the look and feel of the interface.

There are some features and reports we need that are not there. For example, if I have to find out the capacity of the current sprint by user and compare it with the previous sprint, that visibility isn't there.
