Stable, easy to access, and easy to use
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution has been quite stable."
  • "Occasionally, it does go down, however, for the most part, it's fine."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for access to Outlook and One Drive.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable aspect is that it is one the cloud and we can access it from there, which allows us access from anywhere.

The solution has been quite stable.

The solution has been very easy to use overall.

What needs improvement?

We haven't really had any issues with the solution.

Occasionally, it does go down, however, for the most part, it's fine.

The process should be a bit more seamless.

For how long have I used the solution?

In general, I've been using the solution for ten years or so.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability is fine, although we have lost connectivity in the past. We just have to restart it and find that it is pretty easy to restart everything.

How are customer service and support?

I haven't dealt with technical support in the past. I cannot speak to how helpful or responsive they would be.

However, if I run into any issues, I will often go to Google or the Microsoft website. I find it's pretty easy to find answers to the questions I have online, and therefore do not really need technical support.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We do need to pay a licensing fee, however, I'm unsure as to what the exact cost is or if the fees are paid monthly or annually.

What other advice do I have?

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. If the process was a bit more seamless, I'd give it a perfect score. However, for the most part, I'm happy with the capabilities.

Scalable, stable, and offers good performance
Pros and Cons
  • "The performance is good."
  • "The pricing and licensing format could be improved."

What is our primary use case?

It primarily allows us to run our organization. We use applications on is, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

What is most valuable?

The performance is good.

The solution is stable.

The product is pretty scalable.

We have a lot of documents, et cetera, on the solution and wouldn't want to change to another product.

What needs improvement?

The pricing and licensing format could be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

While we've used Microsoft for a while, we started using the solution for about two or so years at this point. It hasn't been that long.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The performance is good. It's stable. There aren't any bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We use the solution for all of our employees. We have around 1500 right now on the product.

We do plan to increase usage in the future.

It can scale. If a company wants to expand it, it can do so.

How are customer service and technical support?

While we haven't used the technical support specifically for this product, it's my understanding that it's the same as any Microsoft product in terms of quality and accessibility.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We have used the solution for so long, we aren't even considering looking at another solution.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup isn't overly difficult. The first time you do it, it's so so. However, a company shouldn't have too much trouble with the setup process.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We've gotten used to the pricing.

We pay for the license by the user. However, it's not just the licenses we have to pay for.

What other advice do I have?

We're using the latest version of the solution so far. I can't speak to the exact version number.

I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten.

I'd recommend the solution to other users and companies.

Easy to use, reliable, and scalable
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution has been easy to use and is very user-friendly."

What is our primary use case?

We are using the solution for email and communication channels.

    What is most valuable?

The solution has been easy to use and is very user-friendly.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for approximately one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution has been stable in my experience.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of the solution is good. There were 200 users using the solution in my company.

    How was the initial setup?

    The installation is straighforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price of the solution is costly but it is fair for what is offered. I have found that the billing model can definitely be improved. Currently, it is not very transparent. It is a big problem, especially in cloud-based models.

What other advice do I have?

We plan to continue using the solution in the future and I recommend it to others.

I rate Microsoft 365 Business an eight out of ten.

Stable with good dashboards and an easy initial setup
    Pros and Cons
    • "The stability of the product is excellent."
    • "The pricing of the solution could be better."

What is our primary use case?

I primarily use the solution for email.

    What is most valuable?

The solution's dashboard is its most valuable aspect.

The product is very user-friendly in general. It's not complicated to use. They've made everything very easy and intuitive.

The product is very direct. Having the application on the phone, downloading it to your mobile device, makes it also easier to connect to your email, to receive an email, and of course, send emails. Since it's on your device, you can use it remotely and have access to everything you need.

The product is very secure. It's safe to use and Microsoft offers good security to protect its users.

The stability of the product is excellent.

You can scale the solution if you need to.

The initial setup is not a complicated process. The cloud makes it very easy.

    What needs improvement?

The pricing of the solution could be better. They should work to make the costs more competitive.

In the off-chance there is a shutdown, it would be ideal if Microsoft provided some sort of alternative in order for businesses to keep functioning while the situation is dealt with. Even if it is down for ten minutes across an organization, it could prove costly.

For how long have I used the solution?

I'm not sure how long I've been using the solution. IT had it installed on my device. I've likely been using the solution for one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product is quite stable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's quite reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution scales well. Of course, you can add more users whenever you need to. For example, if someone has an account, you can just add new users to it. If you are a company of 50, you may originally purchase 50 licenses. However, if you add 10 more employees, you can buy additional, licenses for 10 people. It's very easy to expand.

Currently, we have about 50 users, more or less, in our organization.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I've used Gmail in the past, however, I find the Microsoft product to be much more refined.

    How was the initial setup?

The initial installation is not complicated. It's in the cloud, and therefore, it's mainly, for example, just creating a user account. On one side, the account is created, then the order is just to add in user information. That's it. There's nothing to install. It's more like creating accounts for the users. Automatically, they will receive an email to alert them an account has been created for them. After that, they can start using it.

It wouldn't take more than a day to finish setting everything up.

You only need one person to deploy the solution.

The maintenance is minimal. You would only need about one person to manage it.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution could be cheaper and more reasonably priced.

We pay for our licenses on a yearly basis.

What other advice do I have?

I'm an end-user of the product. I don't have a business relationship with Microsoft.

I'm using the latest version of the solution.

I would recommend that everyone downloads the mobile application, as it makes it so easy to access and use.

Good productivity, a nice set of Microsoft applications on offer, and easily accessible online
    Pros and Cons
    • "I like the fact that everything is online. It makes the solution very accessible."
    • "I thought that Skype was a part of the product's offering, however, it's my understanding that that is not the case."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution due to the fact that we use Microsoft. We use the various applications on the solution. We use it for our business.

    What is most valuable?

The storage aspect of the solution is very useful for us.

I like that all the Microsoft applications, for the most part, are a part of it - including the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Our email is also included in it. Teams may also be a part of the solution - or it might be a part of Office 360. I'm not 100% certain. Either way, it has a huge umbrella of applications under it. The solution offers close integration with each and every Microsoft product. It's important.

The productivity of the solution is very good due to the fact that so many applications are all in one place and integrated together.

I like the fact that everything is online. It makes the solution very accessible.

    What needs improvement?

I thought that Skype was a part of the product's offering, however, it's my understanding that that is not the case.

The Teams product in itself needs to be improved. It's not as robust as other communication tools, such as Zoom. It's unstable and it crashes often. It's been an issue throughout lockdown. They seem to have made updates on the product and yet it hasn't really improved too much.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for between six months and a year or so at this point. It hasn't been that long.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is reasonably stable, aside from the Teams aspect of the solution. That part is unstable. It crashes when you use it. It's not as stable as Zoom, for example.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of Teams is limited. If you add too many people, it will crash. If you're doing a presentation and communicating with a group of people, it tends to fail. I need to send my presentations ahead of time so that I don't compromise on my delivery during a session.

Overall, the solution is used company-wide. I'm not sure how many people are on it at any given time.

How are customer service and technical support?

I haven't dealt directly with technical support. I can't speak to how knowledgeable or responsive they are.

We have our own internal technical support team. If I need help, I would be directed to them specifically. The issues I've dealt with have all been handled internally.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

    We previously used WebEx.

    How was the initial setup?

I did not directly deal with the initial implementation. Someone handled the setup for me. I can't speak to how easy or difficult the process is or how quickly the deployment happens.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We pay a license fee in order to have this solution, however, that is handled by corporate. I don't know how many licenses we have on hand or how much we pay to Microsoft.

What other advice do I have?

    I'm a customer and end-user.

I'm not sure which version of the solution we're using. I don't know the version number.

I presume that we intend to continue to use the solution going forward.

I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. If the Microsoft Teams portion was more stable, I would rate it higher.

    • "Security could be improved."

What is our primary use case?

The primary use case of this solution is to design our product in Azure on the Cloud.

    What is most valuable?

Microsoft 365 Business is easy to use, everything is clear, it has good support, and it integrates well with other solutions.

    Everything is easy with Microsoft.

    What needs improvement?

    Security could be improved.

The user interface is good, I don't have any issues with it but everything could always be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Microsoft 365 Business for approximately four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    This product is very stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of this product is good. We have 150 users.

How are customer service and technical support?

I am very satisfied with technical support, and if we have any problems then we open a case. You will have direct assistance from technical support.

Access is available directly in a portal to open a key, or we can contact directly via telephone and we can track the numbers.

    How was the initial setup?

For me, the initial setup was easy.

We have a team of 12 to maintain this solution, and level one and two security in our networking.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend Microsoft 365 Business to others.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Usable, available, and you can connect to it from anywhere
    Pros and Cons
    • "It has file storage, file sharing, a provisioning box, and a SharePoint profile for each user."
    • "Updates to the SQL server with better features are needed to compete with Oracle Database."

What is our primary use case?

I decided to go with Microsoft 365 Business to be compatible with my friend's server.

    What is most valuable?

    This solution has everything.

It has file storage, file sharing, a provisioning box, and a SharePoint profile for each user.

It's useable, available, and you can connect to it from anywhere.

Also, I have storage and I can access my email.

    What needs improvement?

The Team Exchange online needs improvement.

Updates to the SQL server with better features are needed to compete with Oracle Database.

In the next release, I would like to see more with endpoint security and with firewall security. Many other vendors are better than Microsoft in this field.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    This solution is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    This solution is scalable.

We have approximately six hundred users working daily.

How are customer service and technical support?

I have created tickets with the Microsoft technical team. They were good and I like the support.

    How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is easy and straightforward.

It took ten working days to deploy, test, implement, and to see the effects before applying it to our users.

    What about the implementation team?

I had a consultant integrator helping me with the implementation. We worked together.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others about this solution is to go ahead with no fear.

    I would recommend this solution.

I would rate this solution and eight out of ten.

Great storage capacity and provides total flexibility and accessibility from anywhere
    Pros and Cons
    • "Great accessibility and file storage."
    • "Lacks ability to deploy on more than two devices per license."

What is our primary use case?

We're a small startup company and an IT solution reseller in Dubai. I'm the operations manager.

    What is most valuable?

The good thing about 365 is the accessibility and file storage. Compared to the desktop of the old Office application, 365 has total flexibility and accessibility from anywhere. It's easy to use.

    What needs improvement?

These days, most people have multiple devices but you can only configure 365 on two devices with a license. I'd like to see a license option for multiple devices. Licensing costs are quite high especially for our trainees who have no need for the fully-fledged 365. It would be helpful to have an option for smaller packages that have a reduced licensing fee.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using this solution for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    The solution is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    The solution is scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The company hasn't needed technical support but we contacted them for one of our clients when they needed an upgrade. There were no issues.

    How was the initial setup?

There are five people in the company using 365 and the initial setup was very straightforward.

What other advice do I have?

We're very used to Microsoft products and they're part of our daily activities. I'm sure our usage will increase.

I rate this solution nine out of 10.
